The rooms were spacious enough and the beds were comfortable, but we expected that since we paid for it as we would for a hotel with no food. The wifi was good as expected. Taxi ride is cheap in the city.

The parking situation is AWFULL in that part of the city. The host said that the parking is free on the street, but it wasn't. I had to park on the top of the hill which was the closest free parking and it was about 1.5 km from the apartment and you had to climb up to get the car, or to get a taxi every time you need to go to your car. IT COSTS ABOUT 40 EUROS PER DAY TO PARK YOUR CAR ANYWHERE IN THAT PART OF THE CITY, SO IT IS NOT FREE !! We had a problem with the electricity grounding in the shower as well, and the hosts said that the electrician can come 1 day after I called, and since we were staying 3 nights there, I declined and insulated the shower handle myself by duck taping the plastic bag to it, so we don't get shocked while we are in the shower.

The first time we stayed in this apartment was in 2021. Last year we really liked the apartment, so we booked it again. But this year we have seen poor property management. By the time of check-in, the apartment was not ready. We had to wait 2 hours for cleaning. The administration did not respond to a request to provide another set of bed linen, since we have adult children and they sleep in different beds. The shower cubicle was covered with a thick layer of dirt. We had to shower in beach shoes.

The location of this place is great. Quiet neighbourhood and pretty places around to eat.

From the moment we arrived this place was a deception, we couldn't enter the code in the box to get the keys as the code they sent was wrong. So we had to call them and get the correct code. When we finally got into the place, first thing we saw were stained mattresses, the place had no sheets! And no toilet paper! We looked everywhere and we couldn't find them, the sink in the kitchen was full of hairs, and the shower drain was full of hairs as well. There were some towels folded, but when I unfolded them I saw some hairs as well. The shower was not cleaned...so many things. We called the host, and even though he appeared nice and responsive, he just sent a couple of people to put the sheets in the bed so we could sleep, but they didn't clean. By then it was already too late for us to find another place. The cherry on top was a little note that said we could find our complementary breakfast in the fridge, and of course there was nothing. We called the host again to let him know that we were not happy, he mentioned he would make it up to us, and nothing really happened. So overall, the place disgusting, a total disappointment, I don't even understand why this place had such nice reviews. If you want to stay in a clean place, do not stay here. This is my first bad experience with booking- so sad.

property was not made available on time & their people think is ok to deliver it with a delay of some hours and dirty and then have you wait for their unprofessional cleaning people ( whom they did not even bother to ask clean the property before the customers arrival). not timely delivery of keys, useless emails and communications ,dirty and unkempt property, unprofessional cleaning people, rude management …I sort AVOID and do not be fooled by photos or their positive overall reviews … reality is very different and it will cost you

management and communication is lousy … they will send you many emails and messages with promises and policies but they keep none .., and they are very happy to keep your money without providing you with anything… Do a favor to yourself and stay away from Athens Blues A-The response per management clearly shows they are unprofessional and have no problem with grossly lying about the events that took place. We were very pleasant and understanding when you said not possible to check in early when we asked you days in advance. We made arrangements to take a car service and yes it did cost 70 Euros and made the arrangement (even though our transatlantic flight arrived at 10am) to arrive after 3pm as per your confirmation at 2pm that same day that the room would absolutely be ready for check in at that time. We were not notified in advance that property was not ready! We arrived at 3:13pm and put in the key code to get the key for the apartment. The warm welcome of Athens blue was not having put the key in the box for us to pick up. We then had to call them and explain there wasn’t a key for us there...the response was ( not an apology) I will be there in a few minutes to drop it off. 20 minutes later a guy arrived on a scooter, again no apology but informs us by the way the apartment hasn’t been cleaned. We wait over an hour for them to arrive. They then cleaned for 1/2 hour tops. Remember the apartment is two bedrooms with kitchen and sitting area, and the state of the place was an absolute mess. There is no way two people could have done a deep cleaning ( we were told Athens blue needs the time between 11-3 to ensure deep cleaning and disinfecting is done after guests leave). There isn’t enough room on this review to go into how unprofessional and terrible the customer service was. No one apologized to us, and no compensation was ever offered. We explained we cannot stay under these conditions and said we were leaving. No keys were ever thrown!

The area is great.

The apartment was fully equipped but unfortunately the coffee machine and toaster were out of service.
