Enormous comfortable bed, good aircon, plenty of indoor space and good shower with hot water, plus access to the pool across the road (no space for sun beds though). There are some very good restaurants nearby, and while it’s a good walk from the closest beach at PDC, that beach isn’t great anyway, but you are close to the secondary ADO bus station for a minibus to Xelha which is much nicer (access fees apply: beach only or beach club).

Some noise from neighbours late at night, not really able to use the outdoor space (some patios were more usable than others), and totally unable to keep mosquitoes out despite the screens.

I love how quiet and green the area of the hotel is. It's also right next to the Ceiba jungle park. The hotel is off the local strip, so away from the noise and intensity of the tourist beat. Very close to grocery shops and not such a far walk to the collectivos and bus stop. The room itself was very nice, ample space, good air conditioning, great shower and beds. Was wonderful to have a private full kitchen, and drinking water provided. Great value for the price!

I only have a few complaints about this hotel. One is that the family shared style rooms attract groups of young Mexican party hards looking for cheap crash pads. One such group arrived back at 4:20am singing and carrying on loudly, very drunk. I had to go out in my towel and bang on their door. Another hitch is that there are actually two separate buildings, so photos of hammocks, the pool and the shared kitchen are not relevant for folks staying across the road. My biggest issue was that the reception closes at 5pm, and the videos and information as to entry were not sent to me until 11am on the day of check-in. I had already left my other hotel and had no reception or internet, arriving at Casaejido at 9pm. No one answered the after hours reception number left on the front door. Luckily a guest heard me banging on the door and yelling, and let me in, giving me the wifi network name and password so I could look online for how to get access to my room. It was a very stressful experience that could have been easily avoided by receiving the information at an appropriate time beforehand, even twelve hours would have made a big difference.

The jungle vibe which you get in the middle of the city is incredible. It has all you need. It is good value for money.

Very nice, simple and cheap apartment in walking distance to a big shop and the colectivos (small shared vans that can be used to get to nearby beaches). Comfortable bed and clean.

The atmosphere of the compound was tropical and inviting and had access to the pool on the opposite side of road. The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed.

The apartment is a bit far from the heart of the town if you want to walk, but it was a 5 minutes driving. Staff were helpful but did need to ask for things few times.

The bed was super comfortable! The inner garden was also nice, made in a very tropical style. Big pool as well, and very nice staff :). Very good for the price

The room was a bit dark and the apartment not so well isolated, you could hear things from outside. The neighborhood didnt make such a good impression, but it was safe.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. Air conditioning worked well and ceiling fans were nice to have.

When we arrived there was no one there, there was a note with a WhatsApp # that we were to msg but it didn't work. Had to contact through booking. Was a bit of a hassle for the end of a travel day.

The place has a really good value for money. The place is not at all fancy, the facilities are a little bit old but just fine if you are not too demanding. We stayed just one night, which I think is a perfect time for a stay here, but wouldnt have minded staying more. Just know the pictures look muuch nicer than in person. The location was ok, close to ADO and a main street so you can find groceries or anything you need, but it is like 2 miles from 5th avenue and the fun stuff. Taxi charged us 100MXN one way, i wouldnt pay a penny more than that.

STAFF... this situation might have been too particular, but when we arrived we were received by this employee girl (I did not catch her name) but she is young, comes from Tabasco, and has TOO much of an attitude. First, the hotel is spread within two different houses across the street from each other. She was always at the house where the reception wasnt at, so anytime we needed her we needed to text the hotel because she wouldnt stay at the reception. She was not in any way shape or form nice, attentive or even welcoming. We wanted to pay with credit card, but she told us the POS was somewhere "far away" (like a block away) and did not want to go all the way there. We payed cash, trying to be accomodating, but we shouldnt have been the accomodating ones. She took our money and did not give us any proof of payment, she then took us to a room which was not the one we booked, when we came back down to the reception to tell her this, she just tried to convince us to stay where she told us because "our room distribution says thats your room", there was no argument, there was no real reason why we couldnt move, she kept asking if we used the toilet, we didnt, but she kept insisting and even told us "ill go check, dont lie"... we really did not use it, and I am sure she never even checked. She kept us waiting 20 minutes "calling her boss" in order to finally giving us the room we had booked. As if this wasnt enough, we were unlucky enough that, when we unloaded our luggage from the car to the room, the gate lock opened normally, but would not close again. We tried our hardest to close it and not having to call her again, but we couldnt. When she came to check the gate lock first thing she said was "its the 4th time youve made me come out" as if its not her job or something, she tried her hardest to lock the gate too but couldnt and then she said "ill just fix it later otherwise ill get mad" and left.

Lots of greenery around the house and had a spiritual vibe to it. Very eco friendly property. Staff were helpful too. Cleaned the room on daily bases.

Shared kitchen space should be improved and kept clean all the time. Also a kettle to boil water would be nice addition to the kitchen.

The room is nice and the bathroom is good too.

If you have hay fever it may be a bit stuffy.

Looks exactly as on the pitures! I booked only for two nights and stayed for extra 5 nights! A very cute place!! good location, 20/25 min by foot to the beach and all the good restaurants around. close to everything you need. If you are a nomad, defiantly a place for you!! excellent WIFI, quiet and pleasant to work by the pool. Also, the bed is really really comfortable!! The staff is wonderful and very friendly! Overall, a wonderful experience.

The only thing which was missing for me was that my room was a bit dark, with not much sunlight. there are lamps but they were still not strong enough, couldn't work in my room, but it was a good reason to work by the pool :)

A quiet heaven , in a gorgeous property The house is really relaxing , with a very large, and well equipped kitchen , and dining area outdoors. Lush vegetation around the pool. We really loved this place. Location is good,only 15 minutes walk from the beach, the ferry and the strip for bars and restaurants. There is a huge supermarket 10 minutes away on the way to the beach.
