Loved the infinity pool, it was beautiful at sunset and the staff looked after you.

Location great! Didn’t appreciate that I had to ask 3 times to have the bed made up the right way and have a king duvet instead of a single for a king bed! No welcome package like the other rooms who were booked on same booking! Took me 2 hours and 4 trips to reception to retrieve our luggage which all the time was in storage which staff said it wasn’t! Also another couple didn’t have hot water for 2 days and nothing was done about it until manager was involved on last night! Such a shame as would have booked again because of location but service and management let us down!

Breakfast was excellent. Infinity pool was perfect as there were no kids.

There are not enough sun beds during the day and drink prices were to expensive.

Noisy construction below the room made it extremely noisy and unsightly

The hotel is old and not well maintained. The room smelt musty/mouldy and old, and it lasted the entire stay. Although the room was clean on the surface, it really bothered me that the air felt so heavy/musty and I wondered how much care and maintenance takes places behind the scenes. To make things worse, we were initially placed in a room that was so far from the lobby (as the nearest lift was not functional) and so close to an active renovation area. This room smelt so strongly of construction materials and was noisy. The staff was responsive when we complained, but they shouldn’t have allocated these rooms to us in the first place. The general vibe was cold, mediocre and dated. The only plus is the location. Given the Pullman brand and price, we expected better. The Mercure Legian is a much better place for a more reasonable price.
