very good location on the coast, barely away from ferry and bus stop. also near the shopping street. A perfect location to relax after long trips to Amalfi or Positano. usually there is an apprehension about coming to Maiori from Amalfi. we were pleasantly surprised it is more calmer & friendly

vintage property nothing to dislike except maybe some traveller may not appreciate the analogue nature of all Equipments. I much appreciated going back into time a bit. event the room heater & lifts were semi manual.

The location was good but none of the facilities were open to use.

The bar was meant to close at 11pm but when we arrived at 10.50 and asked if the bar was opened, we were told the bar was closed even though it wasn’t 11pm. The breakfast wasn’t great.

Good location. Private beach. Free private parking. Tasty breakfast. Changing towels everyday.

Old furniture. Only the bathroom was renovated. AC was not working very well.

On arrival it is not clear that the entrance is to the side and not the front - frustrating on a hot day. A welcome addition would be a bar at its private beach.

Spacious and clean room with nice balcony. Big enough pool. Place very convenient, in the center of the town. Luxurious hotel interior. Staff at reception is accommodating enough. Some gluten free products during breakfast.

Guests were only old posh Italian people. Staff during breakfast speaks minimal English, hard to communicate, especially about allergies. Gluten free food not marked. You get sunbeds and umbrella on the beach on your first day and you can't change it even when other better ones are not occupied.

WiFi connection was really poor. For a hotel of this level it's unacceptable.

The location

That you must pay for a beach? (That wasn't written on the booking site), the walls are paper thin, so you may not fall asleep at night or you will wake up early in the morning because you hear everything from other rooms, hall etc.

Beach has some sand and mostly stones, need beach shoes. This is one of the most beautiful seasides in the world. Pool is lovely. Very nice and accommodating staff. Décor of room and property was very stylish.

Harder bed than we're used to and AC not as cool either. Walk with luggage is tough from Ferry on far side of harbour. Call Travelmar and they can set you up with a golf-cart bus ride.

staff was really helpful, the cleaning staff especially. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect close to everything. The pool and the pool lifeguard was amazing too.

The staff were so friendly and really helpful. Theres both a nice pool and a beach, most hotels on the coast will charge you for the beach so this is a nice addition. Such a great location!

The bed is extraordinarily uncomfortable, I did see in the comments that the beds are very hard. I completely agree with the comments, you might as well sleep on the floor. This brought down my rating of this hotel a lot because sleeping well is something I look for when I'm away on holiday. I asked for an iron but they don't provide these in the room, you have to pay for the maid to do this (it was about 2.50euros). Wasn't a big deal for me but worth noting.

1. The location! Next to the sea and close to the restaurants. 2. Friendly staff. Staff make your stay so welcome and relaxed. Dogs are also very welcome. 3. Breakfast. Good boost for the day.
