The location was amazing! Walking distance from all of our favorite spots. We came on a staycation from Playa and we loved having the beach club, pool, restaurant and of course the location.

When we went to the restaurant for breakfast in the morning we were forced to pay cash even though we used cards the day before. The machine was working with no problems but I feel the waiter wanted us to pay cash because it was easier for him.

Gardens are pretty, but facilities need renovation. A/C only worked on occasion, shower kept malfunctioning/running at night, door lock and safe were broken when we arrived. Night club next door shook the room until 2am each night.

The front desk and staffs were all awesome! There was seaweed and they were one of the only hotel to that cleaned! The beach was steps from the hotel. Perfect!

I don’t mind music but it was the same beat. It wasn’t a music you are able to dance or to party it was just a hard heavy metal. If that’s your type of music that’s your place but for us it was not.

overpriced. basic infrastructures are missing. salty water in the shower. at check in the receptionist wanted to take a photo with his personal phone of my credit card. in low season the noise from next door club is not that bad. overall: it’s in line with Tulum style but overpriced for the kind of service offered.

Villa Las Estrellas has the friendliest and most helpful staff ever. Carlos and the other staff made us feel very comfortable and accommodated all our needs! The location was also superb - right in the heart of Tulum and close walking distance to all the restaurants and venues we wanted to visit during our stay. We also loved how it's close to the beach without the extremely high prices! Thank you so much, Carlos and team!

We went during low season when seaweed covers the beach, so we didn't stay at the beach for too long.

Unfortunately the manager of the property was not helpful when we were cheated by a company that the hotel provided to rent out a scooter. The manager refused to return our property that was taken by the scooter company unless we paid extra money for a scooter that was rented broken. We found this unacceptable and very scary not to be able to feel safe in the hotel and instead feel the hotel manager took the side of the threatening and attempting to cheat us local company and not their guests. They never returned our property.

The staff vibes are off, they does not say "good morning" or "hi" to the guests, completely uneducated. Thanks to Marcelino from the restaurant who was super nice with us and always smile to us. Humberto from cleaning also was nice and told us about the racoon who lives under the cabana. The security guys were too rude asking constantly for the car keys, very suspictius. The pictures of the hotel in their page are too different to the reality, the rooms are ugly, old, pool is nasty looks like no maintenance and also the water is salted because there is NO POTABLE WATER and they only provide 2 bottle of water daily to brush our teeth, TERRIBLE and they dont advertise this in their website, booking.com, etc.The hotel is near the Bagatelle Club which plays amazing music, so we had a party for free in our cabana lol. The hotel advises about the club, so i had no complain about it. The hotel parking is small and uncomfortable. The a/c works from 6pm to 12pm. After that there is no fans or a/c (at least in my cabana oceanfront). The restaurant food is bad and expensive, but in Tulum Beach EVERYTHING is expensive, so it was no surprise. This hotel is too expensive for what it has to offer. It needs a renovation ASAP.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed the stay. Loved the pool and the beachfront lounge. We rented bikes from the hotel and enjoyed touring. We were very happy to be in the center of everything in Tulum.

The room wasn't quite what I expected, a little more primitive than I thought. The door was hard to open close, the conch shell sink was a nice try, didnt quite work correctly, but those were minor issues, overall the place worked out fine in the end.

The staff was friendly and on top of things. Unfortunately the property is undergoing major renovations and that should had been noted. I wouldn’t had stayed there if I knew that. There was an extremely smell of paint and paint thinner during our stay, construction debris/dust, the kitchen was only serving cold food, the pool is terrible & there was a bad smell coming from somewhere right outside our room - you couldn’t smell it in the room just when you stood outside it. The faucet water is salty - you need bottle water to brush your teeth.

We were upgraded to beach front suite & it was spectacular! I traveled with my daughter and her best friend to celebrate their 18th birthdays. Our room was very spacious with a king bed & 2 twin beds. Extremely comfortable beds & pillows. The bathroom was very spacious as well. Couldn’t get over the size and the view. The accommodations were stellar. The manager, Carlos, was phenomenal! He took exceptional care of us and ensured we were happy, comfortable, & provided many excellent entertainment recommendations. Highly recommend the facility - will stay here again! Highly recommend Carlos! In fact, all the staff were exceptional. The wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. We never lifted a finger & everyone was so Happy and kind. Thank you!
