Um...the view is EVERYTHING. You're going to have to walk up a lot of steps but it's worth it. This room was everything and more. It's small but not too small. I would 100 percent stay here again. It was really a special place and a really good value.

The only thing I could suggest is that they hire a porter to help carry your bags up all the steps!!

The views were insane and perfect for photos on the balcony! The staff was so friendly and we could WhatsApp him whenever we needed anything, he even organised our restaurant bookings and made sure we got a good table! Lots of steps up to the apartment but worth it for the view, the breakfast was also lovely and was bought to your room in the morning!

It was modern, clean and close to the main streets. The bed was comfortable and room was very clean. The breakfast in the morning was perfect and the staff was incredible! We loved that it had all the benefits of a bed & breakfast (breakfast, daily cleanings, staff when needed) and an Airbnb (staff not hovering, living where locals live)

The hospitality was phenomenal. Luciano is a gracious host, and helped us have an AMAZING time in Amalfi! He went out of his way to make sure we had great restaurant experiences, and reservations for the private beach. The view from our room was amazing, the room was clean, A/C worked really well, and the breakfast was nice.

Donna Giulia is in an excellent location, nestled in the Amalfi cliffs with amazing views of the beach and town below. That said, be prepared to walk up stairs to get to the building from the street. It's easy walking down, but you eventually have to go back up, LOL! The view and location is worth it.

I don’t even know where to start, everything and I mean every last detail was exceptional. starting with the staff that went above and beyond for our every need. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The room was more than expected and having breakfast served on the balcony every morning was exceptional. I wish we could’ve stayed longer and I know every summer we go back it will be with Luciano and staff at Donna Giulia

We had a 20 hour commute to Amalfi and the staff was extraordinary. They allowed us to check in early and gave so many great tips for the area. The location was great and the view from the room was amazing. The room was cosy and had everything we need. Wish we had a longer stay, but we will be back again. Would highly recommend. Not much to say here. As it's Amalfi Coast, there's a lot of stairs around so if you have a suitcase just bear that in mind. Getting to Donna Giulia wasn't that bad, only 3-4 flights of stairs. The views from the hotel room makes it all worth it.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Amalfi - LOOK NO FURTHER. The host, Luciano, alone could be the reason to book this place. Never in our lives did we experience hospitality, effort, and care to such a level. Luciano and his team did everything in their hands to make our stay exceptional. From fully gluten-free (celiac friendly too) breakfast to the best recommendations for everything and even taking care of us when we needed to go to the hospital (not only did he call us a taxi but also called a driver to ask if he found us and if we are already on our way). A cool extra is that Luciano literally knows everything and everyone in Amalfi. He and his team will help you book places, and experiences and it will be done in a matter of minutes. Make sure to book a boat rent through one of his friends and explore the Amalfi coast in probably the best way possible! As for the place, well, nothing can beat the look through the balcony and having breakfast or falling asleep with this view. Other than that, it's quiet, clean, and has an A/C and a mini fridge - basically everything you could ever need for the holiday. All in all, if you want to feel like you're staying at your best friend's place, just with a stunning view and - book this gem of a place, you're lucky if it's not fully booked already!

Lucano and his team are AMAZING, if we could rate this hotel 11/10 we would! They treat you like family and made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed during our entire stay. Not to mention the beautiful views we had from our balcony and the wonderful breakfast they served to our room each morning. We cannot wait to go back one day and stay here again!

We are currently on our 6 months travels and Amalfi coast marks the halfway point of honeymoon adventures We arrived from postiano to Amalfi via ferry and was greeted by the friendliest Luciano who helped us with arranging our luggage to Donna Giulia. Whilst our luggage was being sorted, he walked the 5 minutes from the port to the hotel with us whilst pointing out good drinking and eating spots and giving us a little history of the place Our room was wonderful, clean and had an amazing view, it had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was healthy and fresh and delivered to our room every morning by yet another friendly staff Eveything about our stay in Donna giulia was above our expectations and safe to say we will be returning back here as soon as we can ! Thanks Luciano and all the staff at the Donna Guilia family!

We were greeted by Luciano, who was so welcoming and informative! The view from our balcony was incredible, and nice to lie there with a glass of Prosecco I’m the evening. Our favourite place to stay, out of our whole trip!
