Just right for our family vacation!

Great cabin in close proximity to Yellowstone.

We had a very nice weekend. There was 17 of us and we were comfortable.

Our family had a great time at this property. When the power went out, the host communicated with us and solved the problem quickly. Would definitely recommend staying at the property.

The property was nice but needs some updates like new carpeting, working smoke detectors, working fireplaces, upstairs shower control valve is broken, and working lights and outlets in master bedroom.

We had an enjoyable stay. Other than some trouble with key cards and the smoke detectors going off one night (no fire) everything was great. The hosts were very easy to reach with our questions, problems! We would recommend it!

Very nice well supplied cabin

The cabin is beautiful and just as depicted. It comfortably sleeps 6 adults and the 4 full bathrooms are a definite plus. Unfortunately, the check in instructions and process were completely wrong - no lock box on the gate entering the gated community so therefore no access key. Every couple had to call the property manager to have the gate opened. There was one access key inside the house as indicated; however, there were three couples needing either a code that worked or an access key so we could do exploring on our own. The ignition switch on the grill did not work and we had to go purchase a fire stick in order to use the grill. There were only 3 dishwasher soap pods and we also had to go purchase pods for the remainder of our stay there. Lastly, the night stands in two of the bedrooms were so dusty you could write your name on them and had to be cleaned before we could comfortably stay in the rooms. It seems that the property managers are doing a poor job of maintaining this lovely cabin for visitors.

For not knowing the area, we were pleased! The house was well stocked and enough room, bathrooms and hot water for all of us! Our first morning while having coffee on the front porch, we saw a moose and her baby which was a great way to start the trip!

Our first trip to Yellowstone and this cabin was perfect for our family. Great location for a casual time between Yellowstone days to relax and explore Idaho. The cabin had everything we needed with a well stocked kitchen of all the extras. Bedrooms and bathrooms were accommodating. Fire pit was great to have for a night of s’mores. Communication with the owners was easy and detailed. If we ever find ourselves up here again, we would definitely rebook.

Fully stocked home in a great location for travelers going to Yellowstone. Owners were very responsive. Would absolutely recommend.

Nice place, a few maintenance issues that need addressed. Couldn't figure out how to get theater to work, but oh well. Beautiful home in a beautiful area.

This house was perfect for our family of 7. Lots of space and fully stocked with everything we needed. The location is beautiful. The first night of our stay we were able to watch the eclipse over the lake. It's quiet and beautiful and only 45 min drive to the West Yellowstone gate. We would definitely stay here again.

Second time we have stayed. Always great to get back, cabin is awesome and has all the conveniences of home and in a beautiful setting.

Could use a new oven

We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed it soo much!! Jennie was awesome to work with through booking the process and with any questions I had. I can’t say enough about how perfect the cabin was for our family. Beautiful rooms and fireplaces., All the rooms had their own temperature controls. If we could have stayed forever, we would! :) we will definitely be back! ❤️

While tagged as a "cabin" the property is actually a generously sized home. Our party of nine enjoyed the stay very much. We were there two days - commuting the easy distance into the park and loving the comfort that awaited us after a long day. We had take out pizza one night from a local eatery and cooked one night. The beautiful kitchen is well equipped with all the basics. It was a pleasure to prepare a meal there and we had ample space around the large dining table. Our friends were dazzled by the night sky as there is no light pollution. The owners were pleasant and easy to communicate with. It's an absolutely lovely home that we will reserve again when we next visit the park.

This cabin is immaculately decorated, has very good beds, and great amenities. were sorry we only had one night. we will come back for sure.

Overall we had a wonderful. Paul and Jennie did a wonder job in communicating with us.

Very easy and simple

Great house, built for large family/group and fun. Owners provided easy instructions and fast communication during stay. Well stocked for basic needs. We did not use lake, trip was focused on YS. West Gate YS very busy so plan in advance for your travel times.

Our family of parents, kids and grandkids spent five days in this wonderful cabin. We wanted to get away but still have options for fun and interesting things to do…a day at Yellowstone, floating the river, s’mores around the fire pit, relaxing and enjoying nature..but also close enough to civilization for nummy pizza, Mexican food and ice cream treats near Mack’s Inn, as well as the conveniences of modern life with internet and a theater room. This place has it all! Well situated and appointed with all of the comforts of home, this was an awesome base for our family vacation this year! We’d recommend it to anyone!

We stayed at Paul and Jennie’s place for a family roadtrip out to Yellowstone. The house is beautiful and was great for all the kids to sleep in the bunk room and have their own space in the basement while the adults had a bonfire and drinks on the deck. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for our 14 people and it’s a great distance from town and the National park. We will be back again!!! Thank you for sharing your whispering pines paradise with us.

My family and myself really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! Cabin was super clean and in a great location.

We stayed for 6 nights at Whispering Pines. 5 bedrooms & 4 baths. Really cute, cabiney decor. My grandchildren loved sleeping together downstairs in the bunk room & on the sofa beds. One big cousin sleepover. Good location, walking distance to water. Kitchen was well stocked with lots of extras. Spices, hot chocolate, condiments. Loved having a washer/dryer. This cabin is a year round rental. It gets a lot of use, with very little down time. There were a few maintenance, cleaning issues, and lots of questions on our part, but Jennie was quick to respond & tried her best to fix what she could. We loved the area & privacy & being right on Bills Island.

Huge cabin. Has downstairs room with 2 bunk beds and a movie room. Kids loved it. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere when you are driving in the area but then you find this gated community tucked into the trees. Lots of room to spread out. Even has a fire pit.
