It was hardly manned only to get the money from us. We had a key to get in and out of main door .Room was ok but the fan was poor and so really hot in the room. A little grubby.

Perfekte, ruhige Lage. Etwa 250m vom Zentrum entfernt. Sehr liebevoll gestaltetes Hostel mit geräumigen und sauberen Zimmern. Die Küche ist ausgezeichnet eingerichtet mit 2 Kühlschränken und allen Kochutensilien.Zudem gibt es einen Aufenthaltsbereich draußen. Ana und Kathy helfen dir gern sofort bei allen Fragen freundlich und kompetent vor Ort oder virtuell. Sie sind hervorragende Gastgeber. Dieses Hostel ist einfach genial

Great location, beds were comfortable, one best kitchens we have had, owner doesnt speak english but was very easy to communicate through the app and friendly. One the top places we have stayed on our trip

This one is tough to judge, because the owners have done the best they probably could to offer as comfy accommodation as possible. Honestly, the quality of beds and the pillows was better than in all 4 star hotels we have ever stayed in Costarica. The only reason we stayed here for 1 night was the fact that the whole town was basically booked out as we chose a bank holiday weekend and we had no idea. Booked it as a last minute option cause we did not want to end up sleeping in a car. The rooms have no windows that open into an outside space but only into a hallway so fairly claustrophobic, but as I already mentioned the bed was super comfy. Our room was right next to social area with open space kitchen so we knew and smelled everything people were eating there or cooking.... really hard to give a review as it is a big mix of big pros fighting with big cons. Overall definitely OK for 1 overnight we needed

Simple clean hostel convenient for town but in a quiet location Kathryn - Spanish speaking but no problem for non speakers, expert use of translate - is friendly and very helpful, always available despite being non resident A good kitchen.

Great kitchen and free coffee, nice and close to the centre of town. Kathryn was really helpful in booking us a taxi to Monteverde 😄

The bathroom was a little bit dirty, but not too bad.

Really good kitchen, if you like to cook on your trip to save on money, or just because you like cooking this is the place to go. Felt like home. Airconditioning and fan are sufficient to keep the room cool. Location was alright, just outside of the noisy and busy area, not too far to walk:) Staff was super friendly Price/quality really good

A little bit noisy but all other guests are probably like minded people if you book this. So we had really nice, gentle other people and nights we quite and comfortable.

There was a hole in the grouting of the shower and we had small cockroaches coming into our bathroom It's an old aircon system which is really loud, my husband found it fine but I found the noise too loud to get to sleep easily The drains in our bathroom smelt quite bad at times

Our room did not have a window and our room was therefore incredibly warm.
