Great location, parking, lovely artistic house. Everything was great.

It needed a kettle!

The house is spacious with almost two separate apartments. So, two couples can easily stay there. The location is extraordinary as the city centre is a short walk away. Yet, the street was very silent with a parking spot in front of the house. The house is well furnished with good appliances. The beds were very comfortable (we always travel with our own pillows so we cannot comment on them). There is a small front yard and a dinner table. There are a large number of cups, glasses and plates, so we did not have to wash anything during our three day stay. There are AC units in most rooms, we did not have to use them but they are rare in France and if we had higher temperatures they would have been handy.

The coffee machine is too design and did not work right away. We finally figured out that it needed cleaning. The intermediary person was not very helpful as they first suggested we could use the ground coffee left on the counter even though we specifically asked why there was a grinder. We think that the introductory note should be longer and more detailed. Also we could not have access to our own Netflix and Prime accounts. Instead of simply exiting their account (which would have made them inaccessible to people who do not have their user ID and password, they simply locked them. So, all we could watch was French channels but being English speakers it was not a good option. When we asked about it, the intermediary person simply said the owners did not want to give access to their account. And this was not what we asked. The house is also a bit cluttered. It felt like they were living there all the time and this was the only time they rented it out. Finally, the shower door was too small. We are not big or fat but we could only squeeze out sideways

The layout, with my spouse and me on one end of the house and our traveling companions in their own wing, suited us very well. Staying duriing a summer heat wave, we appreciated the excellent air conditioning in the bedrooms!

nothing I could complain about except maybe the cleaners should have done a better job but this is a very minor issue

Location, cleanliness, space

Lots of attention to detail, a super equipped kitchen. Even my 3 yr old loved the place!

Wifi didn't work, but we had excellent mobile network and we only stayed a night so we didn't mind.

A beautiful property, furniture a delightful mix of stylish modern and lovely French antiques. We only stayed a night but would have loved to stay longer. We didn’t use the outdoor space but I can imagine in the summer it would be great as it is private and plentiful garden furniture. I would I highly recommend this property.
