Perfect size for a large family of varied ages. Close to everything. Needs a little TLC, but can't beat the positives!

We loved our stay in this home, amazing location and views of the harbor. We're already planning our next stay.

The location is perfect and the main floor open space was ideal for gathering, talking, eating together. It is light and airy and close to everything in town and the beach. The view from the 3rd floor balcony is gorgeous. It could use an upgrade in some of the kitchen ware(baking sheets, frying pans) but suited our group's needs very well.

Overall we had an excellent stay here! The location is ideal for walking to the beach, splash pad or shops downtown. The space was large, open and our large party never felt cramped. We did have one issue with the oven which led to us not being able to use it for 2 days- the owner got back to us after multiple attempts to contact her. It turned out to be that the oven timer when turned on would turn off the oven… She did remedy another situation we had right away so it could have just been a busy day for her to return our calls. (quicker to return texts vs calls.) The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our week long stay which we appreciated! Including paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags etc. We request extra towels which were brought to us right away and greatly appreciated. We also liked that the recycling and trash bins were easily accessible. The kids loved the front game/ toy room and playing on the top floor together. The decks on all sides of the house were beautiful. Some recommendations for the owner: overall need for some minor updates/fixes - the dishwasher rack has no front wheels on the bottom rack and almost slides all the way out when you pull it. The fridge shelves and drawers are difficult to work or missing, 2/4 slots on toaster oven were non functional. need new beach chairs- the ones provided were broken/bent there should be a note not to use the oven timer as apparently it can cause the oven not to work. The jets in the jacuzzi tub were non functional. The online listing and the owners book at the home had conflicting info such as wether the propane would be supplied by owner or guest. Aside from these minor inconveniences, we had an amazing time overall and would absolutely stay again. Thank you!

Perfect for large group without feeling crammed in. Very spacious. Everything thing you need. Beautiful views from the balconies. Big kitchen/ family room for meals and just being together. Owner very responsive. Would love to stay here again. Absolutely perfect location for beach and shopping. Don’t miss the sunset from the 3rd floor balcony y.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The home exceeded our expectations. Perfect location, beach, downtown, kids corner all walkable distances. Home is clean and well kept. Perfect size home for family getaway.

This house was perfect for our family vacation!! Plenty of room and close walk to everything! And amazing views!

We choose this property because of the large kitchen/living room gathering space. It was even better than the pictures. Tons of sleeping areas and very convenient walk to downtown/harbor/waterfront. A few things in the house could use some TLC, but it did not interfere with our stay. The view is even better in person.

My friends and I couldn’t be more pleased with Panella’s Place. We thoroughly enjoyed South Haven and the surrounding areas. Not knowing the area, we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best! Well, we certainly made the right choice when we rented this home. The location is perfect, and the home does not disappoint. We didn’t want to leave, and we can’t wait to return! Such a refreshing trip and overall experience!

We had such a great time staying at this beautiful home! This was our second time staying at this house. The kitchen was a perfect spot for gathering, and the bedrooms were super cozy. The homeowner was excellent at communicating with us; answered our questions very timely. We look forward to coming back again for sure!

Very clean property with a huge living space

Our large extended family stayed at Panellas Place for a week and we had a great time! The home is located conveniently on the canal, close to town and a short walk to South Beach. It is spacious and clean. Toilet paper, cleaning items and paper towels were available upon arrival. It is decorated very cute as well. We had a few plumbing issues which were resolved very quickly after alerting the owner. The cable did not work for most of the duration of our stay but Direct TV came out and had it fixed by the end of our week for the next renters at least. The owner did what she could to have it restored and offered me a credit for the trouble. Overall a pleasant stay and a very nice rental home

We were blown away by the beautiful views and home! While it’s just a quick walk away from the water, you don’t even have to leave the home to enjoy the water views. We spent much time on the third floor balcony taking in the breathtaking views while watching the boats come in and out of the harbor. The house accommodated our group of 13 very well. We loved having a large open kitchen and living area where we could all congregate. Additionally, we loved the walk out porch right off this living space as we ate most lunch and dinners outside. We appreciated the fenced in backyard with children as we didn’t have to worry about them wandering while playing in the backyard. The home is an easy walk to everything in town from the restaurants to the playground to the beach. There were also many extra things like toys, games, and beach things provided. We loved this place as it felt like a home away from home and would delight at the thought of returning!!!

Our week spent with extended family at this beautiful house was just wonderful. We walked to the beach and downtown multiple times a day - it was easy even for our preschool age kids! The house’s multiple outdoor spaces and huge indoor spaces let groups gather separately or together. Our family loved cooking together in the kitchen and grilling on the deck, and the kids loved sleeping up in the “attic” room. I highly recommend this house for any large group - you cannot beat the location!!

We loved Panellas place! Plenty of room for the whole family. The house was super clean. The views were fantastic. It was a relaxing, hassle-free, enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend that anyone visiting South Haven stay at the Panellas Place. We will not have to shop around for places to stay again. This will be our go-to place.

This house was amazing!! We went for a girls getaway and had a great time. The house has a lot of character and is very close to town. We went up to the 3rd balcony to watch the sunset and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I will definitely consider coming back with my family to stay again. Thanks Jill.

The house was beautiful, close to downtown for shopping and dining. Plenty of room for sleeping and gorgeous views of the lake. If only we could have ordered nice weather it would have been perfect!

We stayed here the week of July 4, 2017, and had an amazing time. The location was perfect for July 4 - super easy walk to the parade and perfect view of the fireworks (top deck). The town was an easy walk for my parents, as well (senior citizens). The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk, so we drove my parents, but brought the car back to the house and walked down ourselves. We were able to fit two cars in the driveway, which was critical during the holiday week, as street parking is not easy. Also, the house is fantastic. We loved the open lay-out of the first floor, which allowed all of us to gather in one place without feeling crowded. Also, we had family over for dinners, and they were able to fit with no problem at all. We also loved the back deck, where we spent a lot of our time (grilling, reading, eating, hanging by the fire-pit, etc). The top floor is amazing, which was a great spot for watching movies, playing card games (on the top deck), and viewing sunsets. The house was clean and updated. Overall, I love this house, and we were very happy with our stay.

The home was in a great location. Easy walk to the beach and town. We barely got in our car. The first floor is a great room for gathering and eating. When we arrived the home was less than pristine. The floor and ceiling fans were less than clean. The furniture was adequate but "tired". The carpeting on the second floor had many stains, three of the four bedrooms. I believe the guest's information book needs to be updated. We found discrepancies from the website and what we were told by the owner. We were also a little disappointed when we arrived and had to go out and buy toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, and kleenex as well as propane for the bar-b-q pit the very first evening we arrived. I think this house could be spectacular but it needs some attention.

We had our family vacation there and theire were 14 of us, plenty of room, never felt crowded and the sunsets from the third floor balcony were spectacular! We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to do.

The house is gorgeous and the location is perfect. All the porches and balconies allowed everyone ample time for rest and relaxation. There were a few hiccups with some of the appliances, but did not detract from a fantastic weekend. We loved our stay and everything was easily walkable from the house! Wonderful weekend!

The weather was cold rainy and windy. We played games and did jigsaw puzzles. There was plenty of space in the open family room for all. It is a great place. I would rent it again. Everything ran very smoothly from check in to check out.

We have rented places in South Haven many times, but always north of the river. This is a beautiful house and the thing we liked most is how close it is to downtown. No piling in the car to head out for breakfast, dinner or shopping -- it's just a 3 minute walk! The downstairs is very spacious and comfortable, and the river/lake view from the 3rd floor balcony seals the deal. We hope to rent again later this year.

Our family of fifteen stayed here and the house was great. Nice big downstairs, close to downtown, and great view from the third floor.
