Our family vacation was a hit at this beautiful house with a lovely view and quick access to the beach. Lots of shells to collect and great communication from the host. Thank you!

My family (2 adults, 3 kids aged 2-11) had a fantastic time at this property. The location was just perfect. Lots of amenities to make our trip easier - all the sand castle toys we could ask for, a high chair, even boogie boards that my kids used every single day. Also appreciated all the USB ports in every room and Roku’s with the tvs . Communication was fantastic too- I really couldn’t ask for anything better all around. A hidden gem!

We stayed at Summerplace West for several days with friends. The house was very well taken care of and very clean. Everything we needed, plus more, was in the home, including beach chairs which was a big plus as we flew in from out of state. The water was beautiful and the beaches were full of shells. It was a beautiful location and a wonderful, much needed vacation.

This was a very nice enjoyable stay at a clean well kept house.

We had a great time at the place. It was spacious, clean, and right on the beach. Great view. No complaints. Everything worked out well. The owners were very helpful and are kind people. We didn't do any cooking. Basically used it to sleep and shower in. Didn't watch and TV. It was beach, beach, beach mostly. 🙂

Easy beach access! Beach toys were a hit with the kids. Beds comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. And a table that comfortably seated all 7 of us. WiFi connection reliable. We spent most of our time at home...walking and playing on the beach, relaxing inside or enjoying meals together. Restaurants are nearby (not walking distance). Stairs to second level bedrooms are steep, not easy for little ones or those with knee issues. A couple of things would have made our vacation even better. First, a key to lock the back door so when we were all on the beach we could secure our personal items. (Evidently a vacationer lost the key last year.) Second, a posting with name and location of nearest hospitals. (Unfortunately one of our family members had an allergic reaction that required an immediate emergency room visit.) Overall a location and home we recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Emerald Isle. The beach house was comfortable and cozy. Plenty of room for our group of 5, including a 3 year old. The outdoor shower was a real treat ! So much so that we never showered indoors 🤣 The beach was awesome with easy access. Our stay was a real treat. Highly recommend this home.

With a "photo perfect" spectacular view, this oceanfront bright and beachy home was comfortable and peaceful. Vacationing in this home with two best girlfriends (our ages 69-73) significantly enhanced our "girls' road trip" . Property was immaculately maintained and location right by the beach is great. Emerald Isle is a nice quiet beach area.

Easy, comfortable, relaxing, everything that was provided (tv, technology, kitchen appliances,etc worked beautifully. Great location. Nice people in the community, I felt very safe being a woman who was there alone for the week. Well decorated home with plenty of space. Nice decks on beach side with beautiful views of ocean

This was our first trip to the Carolina coast - we were blown away. This home is right on the most beautiful beach. The house was cozy and well equipped. The owners were responsive and welcoming. We'll definitely be back!

We enjoyed all aspects of this rental. It's only 10 minutes from a large quality grocery store. It has only a short boardwalk and then you are on the beach and only a short distance to the water. It is along a long stretch of great walkable beachfront. Loved the upper deck for a morning cup of coffee. Outdoor hoses to clean your feet off as well as a full outdoor shower made keeping the sand outdoors easy. It would be a bit small if you had the full 9 person capacity but otherwise was perfect.

The property was clean and in a great location! There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. The kitchen was roomy, and we were all able to eat at the table together. It was right on the beach. Even though we had people beside us at the other duplex, we had plenty of privacy. We had a great time!

We stayed in this wonderful property in August 2020. We had two families with young children and we were very comfortable. The house is clean, well kept and with many wonderful amenities, including warm outdoor showers. The owners are very attentive and have kept the house in great condition. The days were spent soaking up the sun and riding waves. The evenings were colored by beautiful sunsets. We love Emerald Isle and can’t recommend the beach and this property enough to other families. Amanda has a great place to stay. It held all 9 of us easily. It was clean and so close to the beach. We had a wonderful time and will be going back next year.

This is a great house! We stayed for our Thanksgiving holiday so we brought everything with us regarding seasonings, utensils and baking/casserole supplies. This place had it all! We really enjoyed your house and look forward to staying again.

The house was clean and the location was fantastic. Amanda checked in with me twice during our stay to make sure everything was going well (it was), which was a great way to make sure guests are taken care of.

We are so happy we chose Summerplace West! Everything from booking to check-out went smoothly. Amanda was great about communicating all the information we needed. The house was so charming. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beach was just steps away! We enjoyed using both decks and the platform on the walkway throughout our stay. Great views everywhere! We went kayaking and found a great casual restaurant, Anchor Drafthouse and Pizzeria toward Indian Beach. It was a great vacation at a wonderful house!

Once again we had a wonderful week at summerplace in Emerald Isle! Amanda and Rick are taking wonderful care of the place and are alway great to deal with! Everything was perfect!

Our family couldn't have enjoyed Summerplace more. Everything we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. Perfect location made everything convenient & easy for everyone. It may have been 100+ degrees, but we never felt it with the cool ocean breeze outside and the A/C inside. Our daughter and friend loved looking up at the stars each night from the outside upper deck. Amanda is great to talk with and has thought of everything!

Everything was great...the amenities made our trip easy! My grandchildren loved the boogie boards...The floors made for an easy clean up! The kitchen was adequately supplied & it was great having the grill! Amanda was so gracious in making sure our needs were met & all questions or concerns addressed in a timely manner! I think we have found our “forever” vacate each home!!!

Our family had a wonderful week at this beautiful property in Emerald Isle. The owners were extremely helpful and attentive and the home offered everything needed for a great vacation including an amazing view. We enjoyed the decks and walkway to the beach! This simple and charming west-side unit had everything our family needed for a 6-day stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the location can't be beat. Communication with the owners was fantastic and we had the opportunity to meet and talk to them a couple of times; they are both lovely! And their dog, Blossom, is super cute :) We will rent this place again for sure.
