This is literally the best place in Sri Lanka we could choose for the first stay! Not so far from Colombo, near the train station Ambalangoda, you can find 3 beautiful villas with the best cuisine and the nicest staff. We loved everything there, starting from the design, ending with the beach and the dog. We had the breakfasts and dinners served in our villa, always a lot of delicious food and nice conversations with the employees. We really didn't want to leave this place!

Everything is amazing here. The oceanview is breathtaking and the villa is beyond perfect. So relaxing for a few days. We wouldn't stay here longer as the location is perfect at the beach but you can't reach any other locations like restaurants or bars by foot. We stayed 2 nights and we loved it here. Staff is amazing.

The only thing missing was a refrigerator in ther room. Other than that, our stay was fabulous.

It really was like heaven on earth. The location, the rooms and the food were amazing. We really felt like in paradise! Thanks a lot to the lovely staff, they made our stay very special!

We loved everything! 🤩 Our villa had two stories and was very tastefully decorated. The private beach is amazing, the food was outstanding and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful beachside location, gorgeous villa, fantastic food and great hosts. The bed was the comfiest of our 3 week trip. A perfect place to get a few nights R&R.

the internet and the TV weren’t up to scratch, given the price. It would have been nice to have a fridge and a kettle in the property.

Bay Villas was exquisite. The food was delicious, the views were breathtaking. It was a slice of heaven and we enjoyed every little thing it had to offer. The staff was so hospitable and sweet we felt like we had a family who was looking out for us.

It's a dream come true. Rooms are huge and nicely decorated, the staff is very kind and attentive, food is excellent, the beach is lovely and feels very intimate and they have a sweet hotel dog. We didn't want to leave and want to go back as soon as possible.

Very nice villa on 2 floors with nice beach. Cook made meals as your preference. And big plus for fast wifi

Terribly intrusive and not sincere staff on the first day, they are glad to see you on the second day, they do not give you rest and all the time they want something awfully imposed on you for that kind of money, I want complete peace of mind and private relaxation. Staying at this hotel completely erased the whole impression of Sri Lanka since I was here the last days. In the midst of relaxation, you knock on your room and are asked to pay for your accommodation, then it turns out that the terminal does not work and for some reason they send you to an ATM located 15 minutes from the hotel exactly at the time when I want to relax for such a lot of money. for some reason, the staff believes that you can go to your room while you are gone without warning about it if you completely change the staff except the cook in this hotel, everything will be just fine. And so I am completely disappointed. And if I knew that I would have such a vacation in this hotel, I would not stay here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While the staff walks on your number as he wants, there has never been a cleaning and replacement of towels is very strange.

This place is literally magnificent. We stayed at Bayvillas for the last 4 days of our Sri Lanka trip and couldn't have chosen a better place. There is no way to describe this way in simple words - I recommend you experience it yourself. The location is awesome with a stunning (pretty much private) white beach that is sometimes visited by some friendly locals and fishermen. The villas are simply wow. We have travelled and seen a lot of beautiful rooms but the furniture, the love to the details and the sea view from each room (incl. the showers) is really one of a kind and more than one could ask for. The staff is the most friendly we have come across our journey and make you feel like home from the second you arrive. Everyone there is really giving 100% to fulfill your wishes. The food is great and Joseph really knows what he is doing - ask for his local curry (for dinner) and the variety of hoppers (for breakfast). It will blow your mind. I could go on forever but to make a long story short: Thank you again and we will recommend this place to friends and family :)

There is almost nothing and I really can't and don't want to complain! The only little thing might be to ensure the variety of drinks is a bit bigger and colder and for dinner you might want to diversify a bit more ;) But really nothing major.

Staff were super welcoming, very professional and extremely attentive. The food was fantastic and freshly prepared every day with a wide variety - they have a great cook! Setting was extremely beautiful and very relaxing. Better suited to a couple than single travellers.
