The property offers many options for a large family with multiple generations.

Great week with 4 families who have kids of all ages. House was perfect for everyone to be together on the main floor/deck area. Kids could run back and forth to the beach. Restaurants and shops were close and easy to get to. All four couples had a master suite with ocean views. Great property!

The house was absolutely magnificent! Exceeded all our expectations, every room was perfect. Loved having two stoves, two refrigerators, and two dishwashers. Access to the beach was excellent and we loved having all of the beach umbrellas and chairs. Thank you for a wonderful, wonderful vacation.

This is a very nice, well-kept property. The kitchen was well appointed with 2 fridges, 2 dishwashers and plenty of plates and utensils. We had a group of people and had plenty of space for all of us to spread out and have our own space. The biggest bonus for us was the short walk down the boardwalk to the beach. It was 1 minute to the sand. We spent many hours on the beautiful beach. The house is close to restaurants and grocery stores and the area is not overcrowded. It is just as described and is a great vacation home option.

Outstanding Beach Front Home !!!

Amazing property right on the beach! Heated pool was a huge hit with the kids! Plenty of room for our large family, loved that all the bedrooms with king size beds had their own bathroom. Lots of memories were made here and I would definitely rent this home again! All communication with the property owner was seamless. Thank you so much!

We had 7 couples that stayed on the East side and everyone was so very happy with the layout of the house. The bedrooms with the walk in showers are awesome. Very spacious house for large groups of people. The pool is definitely a plus.

As family seems more precious now that my mom is no longer here since she passed away in June, my twin sister, and 3 cousins along with spouses and significant others and I decided to rent this awesome house. This house greatly exceeded all of our expectations. We only cooked twice while there, but the kitchen had everything you need which is rarely the case when renting. We loved that there were multiple appliances. We loved the privacy that this house provided. No crowds and noise to deal with. We are all kind of over staying in high rise condos that you have to wait on an elevator and steak out chairs at the pool and beach. This house was spectacular in every way and we are already making plans for a 2nd annual "cousins beach trip" for next year.

Don’t miss out on this house!! Beautifully decorated and plenty of room for everyone. Great location, close to everything, but you have a private beach. The pool and gas grill are an added bonus on the deck overlooking the beautiful beach. The property owners are amazing and readily available. We will be back!

We had an amazing get away at this beautiful beach home! Great location right on the beach! Only complaint was it wasn’t as clean as I would expect when we arrived! Dirty rug in living room, etc.

An excellent rentL for a family va ation. Everyone had enough space. The large kitchen was welcomed by our chefs.

We had stayed here 4 years ago when property was just a few moths old. All in all still nice but could use a good thorough cleaning

The house was perfect for our family of 21 and the pool was just what we needed to keep the 10 grandkids occupied when they had to much beach time. Will definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Orange Beach.

Couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at "Castle in the Sand East"! Everything was just as it was described and was perfect for our bunch! The pool was an added bonus and was great for our little ones (and big ones) when they tired of the ocean water. Everything worked great and there was plenty of everything for our bumch! Just a great week and great memories were made! Will definitely be returning at some time!

Best family vacation ever!

Our family of 23, including 11 kids age 9 and under, all stayed at Castle in the Sand East for a week. The house accommodated all of us wonderfully. The beach was beautiful. So many great family memories were made. I would highly recommend this home as a vacation stay.

What an incredible house! Our entire family was able to be with me to celebrate Christmas on the beach for a week. It was our first Christmas without my husband and we wanted to get away and do something different this year. The house was beautiful and provided enough space for our large family. Great memories were made. Greg was easy to work with and was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice, clean, well decorated house with beautiful views.

Our group consisted of my wife and I, our 5 children with their spouses and 10 grandchildren of various ages. When we arrived I was concerned about parking 6 cars but everything was fine. The house itself is great. It was well appointed and tastefully decorated and we had plenty of room for us and all the extras that we brought. At first I thought the living and dining would be crowded for our family but it also worked out good. Meal preparation was easy in the kitchen. The bedrooms were all spacious, clean and comfortable. The upstairs living area was great for the older grandkids. The outside deck was big enough. The pool on the small size but good for us. The kids did disturb the neighbors in Castle in the Sand West on the first night it was OK after that. We never heard them or the neighbors inside our unit. We did have a few minor issues with the pool heater and TV. They were handled promptly by the manager. All in all this is a great place for our family better than the properties we rented in Gulf Shores prior to this. we will definitely rent this unit again.

We had a great fall break beach trip in OB. Castle in the Sand East has everything we could have ever needed. Our four families loved the pool and the beach access. We would love to return in the near future.

Lovely home, beautifully furnished in a fab location.

The views from this home is stunning! The home is beautiful inside and out. We rented this place for our first beach family reunion. The house had everything we needed for a big family gathering. Plenty of cleaned bedrooms and bathrooms for all! We loved the spacious kitchen and living room area, especially the bay window area to watch dolphins in the morning. The private pool and beach area were awesome for the children. The beach was very nice and not crowded. We will definitely book here again and recommend to others!

What a great week to celebrate our parent’s 50th Anniversary! Plenty of space for all 21 of us. Beautiful home. Thanks for sharing it with us!

A little about ourselves.. we are a group of cheerleaders, senior team, coaches and parents. We were attending US finals in Pensacola. This house was everything advertised and more. Our group tends to be loud by nature but with all the space and 3 floors in this house you didn’t notice it. Plenty of room to gather in groups for eating and meetings but enough to spread out as well. All appliances worked, the house is centrally located between Alabama and Florida yet had no direct next door neighbors. Communication with the owner was excellent. I am dealing with another rental for this weekend ( other Cheer team in Florida) and this owner makes me really appreciate his communication skills. The private pool really sets this property off from others. There were many friendships strengthened over a drink and “family” bonding poolside. If you chose this home for your next vacation get away you will not be disappointed.

This was our second time at Castle in the Sand East, and it was all we remembered and more! It is such a beautiful, spacious home, with all the amenities of being at your own home. Greg was great with sending helpful information for the area, and he helped right away if we needed any thing at all. We were a group of 22, (10 were children) and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out. Every detail about the house, from the great kitchen & finishes, to the swimming pool & private beach access, to the multiple master suites...completely sets this home apart from the others we looked into. We visited The Hangout, FlorAbama and Tacky Jacks, and enjoyed them all. We hope to visit again one day!

The atmosphere, style, and decor of the house are gorgeous! You're literally on the beach so location could not be anymore perfect. We had a great time and will definitely be returning guests! Do yourself a favor, if you're thinking of booking this place, do it because it books quick for all the right reasons!
