We loved our stay at this property! The place was so clean and exactly how it was described. The pool was perfect, my 3.5 year old daughter loved swimming there. As a bonus there was a booster seat so we didn’t have to bring ours from our car. The views were fantastic.

Great location to everything. The property is just beautiful and we give a lot of credit to the grounds crew. So lovely to take family photos right there. The condo was decorated so nice but I would recommend new pillows on the sofas as these need to be cleaned. Great weekend and highly recommend to everyone.

I stayed at The Shores a few times decades ago and the property has been so well maintained, I could have stepped back in time. It was beyond my expectations. I reserved this 2 BR condo in my hometown to coincide with the eclipse. My daughter and fiance traveled from NY to join me and felt right at home. The hosts, Bev and Brad, sent loads of information beforehand, house and property rules, favorite places, etc. Check-in was easy, questions were answered timely, and once when I had trouble with the outside key box, they came over within an hour. They really seem to want their guests to have a top tier experience, and they made us feel like family. We all loved this place and hope to return next summer. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Wonderful property, even better property owners. Stayed for approx. a month for work. Bev was very accommodating and communicative. The only possible complaint is that I wasn't there for fun (and that's on me) and the weather (Feb.) and none of us have a say in that. You won't regret staying her!

We went in the end of September- just the right time. Not too crowded, comfortable fall weather. The condo was very cozy. We throughly enjoyed our week away from the daily grind at home. Bev was extremely helpful with local recommendations. We tried several of the spots she noted and loved them. It was also a great time to visit Put In Bay and Cedar Point. Just a note, there are a lot of stairs if you have trouble going up and down. We didn't have any issues ourselves. We would love to come visit again!

Loved our stay at #19 at the Shores. Plenty of room. Comfy furniture. All we needed kitchen wise. Have been coming for 33 years and brought new generation with us!!!! Super communication.

Check in was easy. Then the nightmare. Of all the VRBO properties I've stay at this undoubtably was the worst. Why may you ask why well first I could get over the most important electrical socket in unit did not work and no soap or toiletries that's really not the issue. When you travel for business or pleasure after a day out or in the morning what do you do watch tv on vacation you at least keep in touch with the news check the weather for that days forecast were you are so you can plan your day..? In the evening after a long day out watch a movie a show the new.. None of the tv's worked picture was frozen or skip and shutter the sound was unrecognizable all we did in the morning and evening was to to fix problem. Yes we texted and called the owner no reply which the may say we didn't but why wouldn't we? We left a day early because of this. Emailed owner the next day again no reply it wasn't until I sent a 2nd email which I reply that I was going to reach out to Vrbo and my financial institution for some type of compensation unless I heard back. Then is when I finally heard back pre the owner why didn't you call us which I did we would have told you to unplug sets if that was a problem were was that in the brochure needless to say we did that numerous time during are stay it like we did something wrong obviously they knew something was wrong with the set. All in all they gave us 100.00 credit for are troubles thanks for a great vacation! PS Don't be lured by photos of unit

This was our second stay at this condo and it felt like coming home. The condo is clean and comfortably furnished. The view makes my heart happy. Bev is great to work with. All the people at The Shores are kind and wonderful to talk with. The location is close to everything. We are already planning our trip for next year.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was beautiful and a great location to many great restaurants and activities. Our family all enjoyed this vacation and plan on going back in the future.

We loved our stay in this condo. Great decor and spacious feeling with the loft/high ceiling. The Shores is one of our favorite places to vacation and now Bev is our favorite person to rent from. Communication was excellent. We already booked next years trip in another one of her rentals!!

My husband, 7 year old, 5 year old , and I enjoyed our stay! The condo wears perfect for us and very clean. We enjoyed the amenities on the property and were close to all of the action of Cedar Point, Jet Express, and restaurants.

We had a marvelous stay. Our host was quite friendly and extremely clear with all information. Everything was clean and comfortably laid out for us. The pool was quite nice and even the swim/ beach area was good for swimming. The location was great for Cedar Point, and a number of quality restaurants are close by.

We enjoyed our visit to Catawba,Marblehead & Put in Bay. The condo in Port Clinton gave us central access to all 3 areas. The grounds, pool, fire pits, garden & deck were a big +. Beds were comfy & having w/d was great for laundry. People at pool were very nice. Weather was cool for swimming highs 65-72 lows 58/62. If we return we would prefer late summer, early fall for warmer temps. Renovation/repairs to balconies below & to side of this condo precluded much use of balcony but it was okay, as view of lake was partial, mostly of grounds & parking lot. This is a good, centrally located place for a small family to enjoy the pool, hot tub, deck, tennis courts & firepits & the central local.

Place was very clean, nicely decorated and plenty spacious for 3 people. Centralized location for all the places we wanted to see. TV was a bit complicated for us and did not see where we could play/watch a dvd. So we played games and went down to the lake instead. We would stay here again.

This is a beautiful condo!! Very clean and inviting. I truly enjoyed the view of the lake. Bev, the owner, is very sweet and kind. She was very attentive to anything I may need. I had a beautiful, quiet weekend. Something totally different for New Years Eve!! The condo is fully equipped with everything you need. I recommend this place to all looking for a quick getaway. I will definitely be back to enjoy a quick summer and fall getaway as well. Thank you ❤️

This was a last minute trip for my 14 year old son and I to Cedar Point to enjoy their Halloween event. The location from Cedar Point was wonderful! It was not too far and there was zero traffic or difficulty getting to the condo. The car port was very nice to have to. There are a good amount of stairs to climb to get into the condo so people should be aware of that. The water had been turned off and it appeared that it had been winterized or something due to some papers that had been left on the kitchen counter. It was not a big deal since I quickly located the turn on for the water. The condo lay out is adorable and the decorating fits the place. The higher places in the condo such as the window ledge in the living room and the look out from the main bedroom had spider webs and a good amount of dust, nothing a swifter couldn’t take care of. There are a few things in the condo that could be updated or replaced such as the bathroom towels. They were clean, just a little worn out. The shower head in the bathroom needs to be replaced. It’s makes a terrible noise with very little water pressure. A tv in the second bedroom would be nice even it was just a small one. I slept in that room since my teenager likes to stay up later and watch tv, again, not a game changer, just a small little suggestion. I wish we would have visited when the pool was still open and it was warm enough out to enjoy the patio and the lake. I can only imagine how beautiful and relaxing it is. We have stayed at a lot of different condos/rental places on vacation all over the country. I always think it’s nice when small little extra gestures are waiting for us when we arrive. One condo we stayed at had a few little bottles of shampoo/lotion/ toothpaste. Another we stayed at had a couple small snack items/candy. I totally understand that can get expensive, I just always thought it was such a nice touch. Overall, I felt completely safe and comfortable during our stay! Which means a lot to a single mother traveling with her teenage son. Thank you again!

We had the best time in our first visit to Ohio! This place is exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay very much. Our favorites were the sunset, the night time swimming in the pool and dip in the hot tub and relaxing by the fire pits. It was a great family vacation. So glad we picked this spot.

This was our second year staying at The Shores and we’re coming back next year. The location is minutes from everything, the condo complex is just the right size and the accommodations are so nice. The pool, the spa, the lake-you just can’t beat it!

The condo was wonderful. It was close to all the tourist attractions and yet once we got back to the condo at the end of the day it was a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The pool was perfect for littles and we enjoyed the beach access. We will return!

Property was as described. We made great use of the pool and hot tub. Everyone was friendly on site. This was the perfect place for our family as we spent a fair amount of time in the rental. The rental provided well for our every need.

This property was wonderful for a long weekend getaway! The condo was well appointed. The pool, tiny beach & patio area were amazing for our little family - we could have easily just “stayed in” and been content. However, we walked to the delicious ice cream shop next door, visited Lakeview Park for a great playground, hit Twin Oast Brewery for live music & family fun, checked out The Orchard for an awesome breakfast & took Miller Ferry to Put-In-Bay to putter around in a golf cart, eat, shop & kayak! I would have rated even higher, but our balcony had a number of dead mayflies (which I understand is common) & what appeared to be styrofoam balls all over (not sure why), so I had to clean upon arriving to be able to enjoy it which was the exact opposite of what I wanted to do for the weekend! Know that the building exterior is old, but it appears they are working on it right now. I also did not receive the check in code, although the owner had sent one week prior. She responded within 2 hours and resent everything, making sure we were set. I would rent again!

The condo was clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed and the property owners were easy to reach and had a very quick response time to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend to others!
