It was a great space for our group of kids/parents; plenty of beds/rooms to separate adults away from kids etc. Weather wasn't great and we were busy at Cedar Point, but would have loved to enjoy the outdoor deck and walk to downtown! Maybe next time.

Alot of room for family get together. We all agreed much better than staying at hotel where we all have to go to our separate rooms. Very clean,spacious,and quiet. Located downtown and walking to the lake and the pier

This house was perfectly suited for our home base for our son’s wedding. We were just a few blocks from all the venues- rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception. Perfect in every way!

4 siblings and our children and grand children Get together 2 houses and lots of memories being made ! We enjoyed being close to downtown and seeking the boats ! House was amazing the grand children liked all the rooms !! Thank you again !!!

Our family loved our stay in this cute and comfortable home. Plenty of space for the 19 of us to hang out together - playing games, watching movies, cooking and eating meals - and to retreat from the large group too. We enjoyed Sandusky - walked through the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning (just steps from the front door!), and the waterfront park a few blocks away. We drove to a beach for swimming, only about 25 minutes away. We would all love to stay here again!

Beautiful vintage property with plenty of space/bedrooms for all. Was perfect for our group of longtime friends to spend time together. Easy to find. Convenient to waterfront, downtown attractions and Cedar Point. Easy to get to Marblehead and Kelly’s Island

Our family of 6 adults and 7 kids, ages 0 to 65, had more than enough rooms and bathrooms to make this stay comfy. We had a blast playing the dozens of provided games on property. Downtown is a bit quiet on Mondays, most businesses were closed on Mondays, but you are in walking distance of multiple restaurants, parks, and even a splash pad! The property manager was quick to answer any questions we may have had via text. Check in and out was simple and easy. For being an old property it was shockingly sound proof. Great for early risers that are staying with night owls and waking up at very different times. Loved it and would definitely stay again!

Property as described. Many extra touches that made our stay enjoyable. Kitchen and living areas very well situated for a large group. Neighbors friendly and nice splash pad down the road.

"The blue house" in Sandusky (as our grandchildren talk about it" was perfect for our family vacation. There were 19 of us all together, with children ranging from 2-14, and 10 adults and we all fit, leaving one bedroom open! The 2 dining rooms were a super feature--one for adults and one for the children. We have rented many houses for these vacations and it is truly rare to find a house with this much seating for meals. The kitchen was also probably the best equipped we have ever had--even a waffle maker, which we never had a chance to use, lots of kids dishes and silverware, and everything else you could imagine needing. The only downside of the kitchen was the small dishwasher, so with a large group we needed to run it often and finally resorted to using paper products. We all loved being a block from the water and the bike and walking path there. The park across the street is also beautiful and was a wonderful backdrop for family pictures. We also spent an hour or so one morning in the Sandusky library for a change of pace for the kids. It is a beautiful old building, and has a great children's section. The East Harbor State Park (about 8 miles away) has a beautiful beach that was not crowded and very family-friendly because of the shallow water extending way out. We loved spending time on the back patio, reading and talking with one another--so peaceful and comfortable. Jeff was immediately available for any questions. We made so many great memories.

The property was as listed, however there were so details that were not clear. Only 1 bathroom and 1 bedroom on ground floor. It was a double bed in a small room. Upstairs has 7 bedroom but two of them were throughways to the other end of the upstairs hall. One upstairs bathroom was the same. This is not a good floor plan upstairs and might not be code. Great location for downtown Sandusky to see and do the local events. Jeff the Owner was easy to communicate with. Lots of knick-knack decorations, but too many for little kids running around. Almost no closets. Dresser are cheap IKEA type furnishings that are falling apart. Had to repair several during my stay.

Very spacious, clean Victorian home, everyone had their own bedroom, centrally located to downtown area of Sandusky...Jeff and Angie were very hospitable hosts, we had a wonderful time.

Visited Sandusky with a group of families to celebrate a birthday at Cedar Point. Was very lucky to find this property available for the long holiday weekend - it was perfect! The beds and pillows are comfy (especially after a day spent walking around CP!), the dining spaces & kitchen were very accommodating, the kids loved that the rooms had their own tvs and all of us loved how spacious and charming the house was, including the back patio which offered a wonderful ambiance. The location was amazing - we walked downtown to restaurants, shops, parks, piers and playgrounds, and also found a splash pad nearby. Communication with the hosts was easy, they were very accommodating and their recommendation for a local baker was spot on! We had a lovely time and hope to make it back again!

Check in was easy, house was clean and exactly as described! Our family had a great time celebrating. Would stay there again!

This house was great for our annual Halloweekends Trip. The house has plenty of rooms for a large group. The kitchen was fully equipped which helped our big dinners. The master bed was extremely comfortable!

Stayed a couple nights for a golf weekend with the boys. It worked well for our needs and a short walk to the fun downtown area at night.

My family and I enjoyed this property very much! The accommodations and location were perfect for my mom's birthday as we have family members in Vermilion. There were 10 of us that spent the night and still had extra bedrooms. We all had plenty of privacy and the house was very quite especially when others stayed up late or slept in. It was also well equipped with everything you need. I would totally recommend!!!

This is our second time staying at the property. It’s central, convenient, clean and very close to Cedar Point/historic Sandusky restaurants. We love having plenty of room for a houseful of family. The kitchen is beautifully outfitted for large groups. There are a number of games and several seating/eating areas.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everyone in my party kept talking about how great the space was. Very close to downtown and Cedar Point. Would recommend to larger parties and would definitely stay there again.

Great in town location where our family of 6 adults, 6 kids ages 1-8 could walk to parks, restaurants and waterfront. Short drive to Cedar Point. Big, well stocked kitchen in which to prepare meals. Two dining room tables in separate rooms came in handy for serving kids and adults alike. Lots of bedrooms and comfortable living space for everyone to gather. Highly recommend for a large group.

Nice home for our large extended family vacation. Walking distance to downtown and the water. As other reviewers have mentioned the bedroom/bathroom layout is odd with having to walk through a bedroom or a bathroom upstairs to get to the stairs, but we made it work. The hosts were very friendly and responsive.

We enjoyed walking to Barra Tacos (temp closed) and Oh Taco for dinner and then breakfast. Beautiful parks with sculptures all around. House was big and had plenty of room for our annual family trip to Cedar Point.

This house was AMAZING!!! It was an old house remodeled with 8 bedrooms. Some of the rooms are small, but they worked out perfectly for our teenage kids. My one son said he never wanted to leave the house. It was within walking distance of the water and some stores. My husband and I went to Vita everydy for coffee and it was such a nice walk. The area was clean and not too much traffic that would cause issues. We had a blast staying in this house. The owners allowed us to enter the building earlier than our supposed check in time so that helped us with traveling. I did message the owners a few times and they were great to work with! Their response time was within a few minutes and they were kind in their responses. I would love to rent this house again should we go to Sandusky again. You will not be disappointed if you choose this house! It’s so cozy and roomy.

I absolutely loved this house. Its an extremely old house that has been updated to accommodate a large group. So much character in this home. My entire family (10 adults & 5 kids) loved the home. We ended up having three bedrooms unused because we didn't need them (we had some people cancel on joining us). There is a bedroom on the main floor next to the dining room that went unused. There is a bedroom on the 2nd floor that you have to walk through to get to the other rooms or go downstairs and back up the stairs in the back of the house and we left that room open. That room would have been fine for kids most likely, but we didn't need it. All of the rooms have window AC units. There are 3 full bathrooms that accommodated the group. The location was absolutely perfect for walking into town. We would stay at this house again and again if we were to come back!

We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The owners answered out questions promptly and we found the home to have everything we needed. It was clean and well decorated with lots of extras. Great value.

Location was close to everything we needed! Easy access to the Ferry to get to Cedar Point and Kelly’s island. The house layout is unique, you must go through one bedroom to access the upstairs or use the back steps but since we were all family we made it work. The kitchen was lacking in basic supplies such as measuring cups, a cheese grater, towels for drying dishes, etc. Again due to the close location we went to the store to purchase needed supplies but have not had to buy the basics in other locations I have stayed. Communication with owner was great, they were super responsive to all questions asked.

We were very happy with our stay with my extended family. It was a great home with comfortable beds, good dining space, a lovely patio in back, and a well-equipped kitchen. The only oddity was the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. We were using all bedrooms so for the interior bedrooms you either had to walk through one of the bedrooms at one end of the hall or the bathroom at the other end of the hall to get downstairs. It worked for our group though. We were also very appreciative of a late checkout time to accommodate later flights.
