The property was for the most part as advertised and located only a few blocks from shopping and the beach. However, we were expecting a single family house and were not aware it was the downstairs of a duplex( which was quite noisy as people above walked around). Additionally, i realize this is predominantly a summer rental, but listing showed a fireplace and since we were down for Christmas we planned to have a fire. Unfortunately when we arrived, a note on fridge indicated the fireplace was not a working fireplace, so i think it should not be listed as having a fireplace if it cannot be used. i gave only 3 stars for neighborhood as the front road looked to be under temporary construction and was basically a dirt road. Other than that, location and neighborhood were good.

I cannot think of one thing more that was needed for our stay.

We stayed for a weekend in October. House was in a great location and had all the needed an amenities. Happy with our visit and stay ❤️

Loved the location and space.

It was a weekend for 5 friends that was fun from the time we got into our cars in PA 'til we parked our cars at the house and entered through the door. We found it very clean and comfortable. It suited our needs for our time away. The owners were very helpful in answering questions we had prior to us checking in. The area had many great things to offer us from wonderful dining and wine tastings, to exploring the beach and other attractions. We all enjoyed the friendly atmosphere wherever we found ourselves. We will definitely be back to the area, and possibly renting this location again. :)

Once we were settled in, this was a wonderful home to relax in. Close enough to walk to the beach! Our only issue was that we had to buy light bulbs since so many were out.

Stayed for my son’s graduation, perfect place to go, close to base and in the middle of town!

Nice location. Close enough to town to walk. Cleanliness was an issue though, hair in bathroom and hole in comforter. Also curtains were ripped as well, shower had mildew all over bottom.

We booked this place as we were traveling for a wedding from CT. The pictures were exactly as the property was listed. The bedrooms were roomy and the bathrooms were clean along with the kitchen. This was an overall perfect spot and I can’t imagine it in the summer time by the water. I would totally book here again.

Lovely week-long stay in Cape May, our first time on the west side of town. Everything was walkable--beach, Washington Mall--and we got to experience Scoops for the first time :) Plus, bike rental was right there, if you want some wheels for the week. As others commented, you will hear the upstairs neighbors, but our week, they were not late-night folks. Great plus to have beach chairs there already (they were in great shape), and of course, having our dog with us was a huge bonus.

Nice house, nice neighborhood, nice neighbors. Unfortunately, two out of three days it poured down rain! Maybe, next time, the weather will cooperate!

Will absolutely go back again. So clean, so cozy, perfect location, overall a really cute spot. Easy walk to everything and never have to even get in your car. Would highly recommend!

Lovely home near West Cape May. Convenient location with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Our favorite was Key West Taco. There was another family renting the second floor and it worked out great. They were considerate and we respected each other’s space. Beach chairs were comfortable and we really loved the reclining living room furniture. Highly recommend.

Location is great...centrally located close to the beach, Washington St. Mall and other activities. Unit was roomy with 3 ample bedrooms & 2 baths. A few of the appliances, however,(fridge & w/d) are very old and in poor cosmetic condition. Main issue I had was w/ noise. Being the lower unit you heard every footstep, conversation, dog barking & toilet flush of the upstairs unit. Insulation in the floor and walls seems non-existent. If u are a light sleeper this is a problem!

This ground floor rental was great for our group of 6 for a week at the beach. Great location just a few blocks from the beach and even closer to lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Beach chairs were available, which was a huge plus. Kitchen has all the necessities if you choose to cook. Also appreciate the owners being dog friendly!

The location is just perfect, we were able to walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go. Home is clean and spacious with a nice outdoor area. Our family really enjoyed spending our beach week there!

My friends and I had a great stay! The owners were very accommodating and answered any of our questions in a quickly manner. The house itself is beautiful and the backyard had a little patio to relax and enjoy your coffee! We were able to walk into town and the beach, within a of couple of minutes. Next time I am in Cape May, I will be staying here again hands down!

Communication between owners and myself lacking, arrived at check in time and had to wait a half hour for them to get back to me with entrance code. Property clean and comfortable. Upstairs neighbors ( who I personally think are the owners or someone they know) were loud and partied late into the night. This property not for family people. I was unable to get much sleep nor were my family.

The house was what we expected. It is located about 5 blocks from the beach and there are restaurants and a CVS nearby. It was clean as a whistle when we arrived. Kitchen was well equipped, although there seemed to be only 4 teaspoons and 12 of everything else! The heat worked, there was lots of hot water, TV and internet were fine. Double bed mattress was pretty hard. King size bed fine. Refrigerator door handle was broken and taped on. One of the shelves in the door also can't hold any jars. Glass is broken in one of the windows in the bedroom facing the street. Storm door and one bedroom door doesn't close right. Master bathroom door doesn't shut. It was New Year's weekend. The guests upstairs didn't disturb us (and we hope they would say the same about us) with partying, to our relief. There is no insulation to stop noise between the 1st and 2nd floors. We have a 11 mo. old puppy and she barked more than we'd have liked during the day, but I don't even know if they were around then. No barking after we all went to bed @ 9:30 each night. This would be a good place for a summer stay, I'm sure. We would come back!
