This is a lovely, well maintained cottage, with an excellent management company. If you cannot sleep here with sound of a rushing creek and smell of a fire, you will not be able to sleep anywhere.

This cozy cottage creates the most serene setting for a relaxing stay. The house has all you need and the outdoor deck is truly an oasis to birdwatch and listen to the rushing stream.

The place was so cute. And being right on the river and having a hot tub- my boys loved it. And the private park was super cool

Directions to Sundance were very easy to follow and when we got there it was just as quaint as I had hoped. The kitchen was well stocked to stay in if it was you wanted. Loved having the fireplace to hang out by at night. The hollow also turned out to be very cute. It was a great location to stay and be able to visit other places. We drove through park city and spent the afternoon on our way in from the airport. Tons of awesome hikes with waterfalls within about 10-15 minutes. Loved this rental. Everything was really well thought out. Also the bedding was some of the most comfortable I've ever found! They were super responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Not only was this cottage adorable (habit house like) and tastefully decorated, but everything else was perfect. It was beautiful being right on the creek and so quiet and secluded. I would say this cottage checked all the boxes. We wanted for nothing different. We were visiting for a mountain bike race in Mid Way. The beds were comfortable, linens were nice and soft and we had plenty of towels. Our 16 year old daughter loved having her private sanctuary in the "Birds Nest" and our 14 year old son loved the loft. The kitchen was stocked with All Clad high quality pots and pans, Viking Range, brand new grill and the pantry even had spices for cooking. You could eat outside or inside. Everything is kept in tip top condition. The management company is very helpful and provided a s'mores gift package which we enjoyed. There is also a park you can walk to with the creek running through where our dog chased the kids as the slid along the zip line. So fun and so happy we found this place!

I fell in love with the location just by the pictures but arriving in the snow was a whole new sense of magic! We walked in awe of how adorable and cozy the place was. It was warm, had everything we needed, comfortable and my favorite part was the heated floors! The hot tub was perfect in the snow. And even though you are pretty close to the neighbors it still somehow felt so secluded. We will absolutely be returning!

This property is outstanding. The stream running through the property with access to area across the stream via a stone arched bridge is unique. Upscale appliances especially the gas oven and stove. Clean and cozy. I am a fireplace guy and we really loved the craftsmanship of the masonry. Sundance is just a short walk away. Although Sundance has a few restaurant options, they were booked during our stay due to an event, so it may be best to make reservations before your arrival. The accuracy 4 star rating is due to the fact that it appears that you are alone in the forest, but there are homes on each side of the cottage. It did not bother us but thought it worth mentioning if your main goal is total privacy.

It's a charming little cabin minutes from the Sundance Resort. The cabin was darling but the pictures did not show how close the neighboring houses are. (close!) Fortunately, the closest was vacant which afforded some welcome privacy. The hot tub was awesome and the bed very comfortable. We struggled a bit with the technology and suggested to the owners that they provide a notebook with instructions on how to operate everything and where all the light switches are as we never found out how to turn a few of the lights on. There's a darling bedroom in the adjoining "cabin" next to the hot tub but with only one bath in the main house, it would be tight. Fortunately, it was just the Missus and I!

Fantastic Property! Perfect setting. My wife and I had a wonderful weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary!

The photos are accurate. The place is well maintained and the private park nearby seemed like it was out of a movie set. Very close to nearby Resort with amenities. My teen girls loved staying in the upstairs loft and hanging out in the private house across the water. So serene!

Had a great time! The dogs and the kid loved this cabin. It was hard to leave.

We stayed at the stone cottage two nights and wished it could have been longer. It is such a magical place. It was a delight to hear the sound of the stream while making dinner or waking up in the morning. We enjoyed the hot tub right next to it in the evening and it couldn’t have been more relaxing! There was an event at The Hollow park the next day but management was kind enough to let us check in slightly early so we could check it out and it was so worth it. It is by far the nicest park ever. The zip line was a big hit with the kids (and adults, we tried it too). It swings over the stream and waterfalls. The setting was gorgeous and we can’t wait to come back again someday,

This property was a dream come true for us. We had so much fun and everything was so beautiful. They did an incredible job creating a serene and picturesque cottage. We loved it.

Everything about our stay was so magical! The kids felt like they were in a fairytale with the sweet loft area full of toys, books & crafts to the incredible birdhouse across the river and the cozy hot tub!! We didn’t even want to leave the property. The only time we did venture out was to the Hollow which is just for guests and felt like our own private play area! The zip line and tree swing were amazing. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back!!

Relaxing retreat

The moment I saw the property I knew I had to be there! The Stone cottage was absolutely beautiful inside and out. My husband and I appreciated the fine art throughout the cabin. We had just visited Sedona and made a trip to Arcosanti for my birthday 2Weeks prior. We knew we were in the right place when we saw a bell hanging by the front door. The cabin was cozy and everything I had hoped it would be. The cabin was fully stocked with linens And everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our daughter and niece also enjoyed the warm ambience and beautiful surroundings. Would love to come back in early summer and Siri everything in bloom

Charming little cottage that was decorated so cute! Located right next to a babbling brook. Cute little bridge to cross over to the hot tub and "birdhouse."

Absolutely the most beautiful, in chanting, cozy and relaxing little cottage. Was easy to get to, clean, well-maintained, and filled with more charm then you know what to do with. We will be back. Property management firm was easy to communicate with and had our interest in mind.

We had a lovely and peaceful weekend in Stone Cottage. The house is in a beautiful setting, the stream outside was so fun and the location was good. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed many fires in the fireplace. Thank you for a great weekend.

We had a very quiet and cosy thanksgiving break vist at the cottage. It was spotlessly clean and very well appointed with lots of extra towels and blankets. The kitchen was so great for all of our meals and the large collection of storybooks was very fun. We had a flock of wild turkeys come through one evening which was fun. The hosts were very attentive without being intrusive. We had a great stay and will certainly be back again

This cottage is dreamy!! It was well equipped and very comfortable. The beds were very cozy. The fall colors were breathtaking. The stream was so relaxing. So much time and effort went into the details of this cottage. Plenty of towels and linens were provided. The patio and porch are so picture perfect. We cannot wait until we can come back for more.

This is definitely a storybook cabin in the woods. The home is in a magical setting and we had a wonderful stay. The property managers are kind and responsive. The cabin is well stocked and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds are comfortable and luxurious but small if you’re a large guy like me! We will definitely be staying here again in the future if only for the meditative ambiance! I rated the accuracy at 4 stars because the listing presents a private little cabin but in actuality the neighbors on both sides are right on top of you and I just wasn’t prepared... A short privacy fence around the hot tub would be an incredible improvement. (The neighbors turned their Bright porch lights on once we got in the tub and left them on the entire time we were in and it was tough to relax) We had a broken shower the first night and couldn’t shower but the owner Was responsive and quickly fixed it the following morning. All in all an amazing getaway and top quality management!

The fall colors were gorgeous and there were so many great outdoor areas to relax and take in the beauty and awe of Sundance. Cozy little spot!

Our second stay at the Storybook Stone Cottage was perfect. Expected to hike and explore, but couldn't pull ourselves away from the deck. Sat under the heater for breakfast, and watched the squirrels and birds all morning. A complete escape.

The greatest attention has been given to every detail--linens, lighting, kitchen supplies, books, decor, landscape, candles, etc. Everything we could have possibly needed was available. LOVED the heated floors on cooler days, and didn't want to leave.

A one of a kind experience ....... truly unique and we loved it!!!

Our family loves this cottage. Our 10 year old son loved the club house and loft. We got daily visits from wild turkeys and squirrels. The cottage has everything you need for grilling outside and the hot tub was a great way to relax after putting your feet in the cold water. It is a short walk to the Hollow where we played on the zip line and in the creek. The beds were super comfortable. We want to come back in the winter and enjoy some of the other features offered by Stewart Mountain Lodge.
