Sandpiper is an excellent Palm Desert community. friendly neighbors, great location (walkable to grocery, restaurants, gyms, etc.) and has the 50's vibe. Our 3 BR unit was clean, kitchen reasonable equipped, good beds and nice layout. The atrium provided great morning sun and privacy. However, I don't recommend this condo, as I don't want competition to rent it again.

We love the Sandpiper development and have stayed in a number different condos there. This was by far our favorite. It has everything you need for an extended stay, a great view of the pool area, and is blissfully quiet (except for the morning doves and songbirds, which we very much enjoyed). We were very comfortable and appreciated the short walk to morning coffee, grocery stores and restaurants. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Can't wait for our next visit.

My second visit to this condo. It’s the best…location, view, quiet with lots of space outdoors and indoors, very easy to communicate with the owner, updated beautifully, safe and friendly neighbors! Excited to rent it again!

The view from the living room is gorgeous with palm trees, large swimming pool, beautiful flowers and the mountains. Lots of room with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A lovely private courtyard. It’s may second stay here. The owner goes above and beyond if you have needs. I can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful holiday at this Sandpiper condo and can't wait to go back in the future. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time there. As others have said it is spacious, bright with everything you could need. It is very close to the shops and hiking trails. The owner is very helpful and easy to reach. So we gladly give it 5 stars.

Built between 1958 & 1969 thoughtfully and beautifully designed properties. We had a dreamy stay lounging and enjoying the pool. This condo owner has thought of everything you could need. Well done.

The Sandpiper location is great - love walking to restaurants, shopping and the hiking trails.

The home was very clean and had everything you could want. Best VRBO we've stayed at. The grounds and pool were well taken care of. The hiking trails close by were a bonus as was all the resturants within walking distance. Easy to get around with Hwy 111 and 74 close by. Will stay here again.

Really enjoyed staying here! Tons of space and plenty of light. This place will actually surprise you. The layout is nice as well, the master is separated from the other end of the house. Decorated nicely and fully furnished kitchen! Great location easy close parking. The owners are very attentive and easy to contact if needed. I hope we are lucky enough to stay here again when we go back to visit in January!

This is a well-situated property that has it all. It is beautifully updated, spacious, comfortable and private, but still provides a sense of community given the layout of units around a common pool. The view to the pool and mountains is gorgeous -- the birds, landscaping and mature trees only add to the peaceful setting. The private courtyard is huge, and perfect for dinner or just enjoying the sunshine. The layout with bedrooms in separate wings is great for families seeking their own space. Great light throughout. The place was meticulous when we arrived, and it is well-stocked with everything you need for a great stay. The owner does a fantastic job with coordinating check in and answering any questions. The location is walking distance to El Paseo, and only a few blocks from all the city amenities you might need. You won't want to leave!

This is a beautifully situated home with updated kitchen and baths. Many extras included: bikes, TVs in every room, fountains. The location is sheltered from street noise. We greatly enjoyed our relaxing stay

Large, well appointed unit facing a pool. Everything was clean and convenient. Excellent location and we could walk to enjoy amenities. We are hikers and there we many excellent hikes only a short distance away. The owner was easy to contact.

We have stayed a few different units in Sand Piper and this one is by far the best. Great pool and location. Lots of comfortable living spaces and wonderful neighbors. Loved it all and can't wait to go back again.

This was my second time enjoying this property while working on some work projects. The house vibe is chill. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, and inviting patio area make for a completely relaxing experience. The property manager is a doll to work with! Will be back again.

Its a wonderful place in a great location

The condo is simply wonderful. It was very clean when we arrived. Instructions for operating things like a/c unit, tv's, etc. were excellent as well as owner's suggestions for local activities. The place is even more spacious than the photos would suggest. The kitchen is well equipped. The location and setting is fabulous. We truly enjoying walking to hiking trails, restaurants, and shopping. We have already rebooked for next year. Great place!!

We spent four enjoyable weeks here in January / February 2019. Check in was easy and unit was clean and ready to go when we arrived. Kitchen was well equipped with newer fridge and stove. If you cook and eat in often, as we do, you should be fully satisfied in that regard. Living area was furnished with large, comfortable sofa, love seat and chairs. Large tv in living area with basic cable service and Apple TV. Wifi was trouble free with a signal that reached throughout the unit. Master bedroom is huge with plenty of storage. En-suite has been upgraded. Shower was good with plenty of hot water. Second bedroom was functional and furnished with 2 beds. Location of unit is fantastic. Sandpiper is a well positioned development with easy walking access to shopping, restaurants and movie theatres.

Back for a second tour of duty at this wonderful,spacoius, Mid-Century condo at Sandpiper. We had the best seat in the house for the 4th of July fireworks! This condo is easy, comfortable,large, and bright. It has a wonderful separation of space.The location is perfect, very close to El Paseo,shops,restaurants and the Palm Desert mall. The beautiful swimming pool is just steps away. We shall be back for sure.

We had a great stay. A perfect place for two couples. Well appointed and the kitchen was very well equipped.

We are two recently retired couples who travel together and like to golf/hike. We loved staying at this condominium for several reasons. First, it is located in the 'Sandpiper' complex which has 15 circular enclaves of about 10-12 condos. This condo is in 'Circle 6' and faces directly inward toward a beautiful swimming pool complex. The grounds are impeccable, beautifully mowed, with flowers and trees throughout. It is quiet and feels secure given the layout of each enclave (fenced in between each unit). Second, the geographic location of Sandpiper in Palm Desert is perfectly centered when staying in the valley. It is centrally located about halfway between old Palm Springs/Airport (about 11 miles away) and LaQuinta/Indio (10 miles away). It is right adjacent to the upscale El Paseo shopping area. Third, the condo itself is very large with separate large bedrooms/bathrooms for each couple as well as a spacious living and dining room. There is a very large encased/walled patio/courtyard with tables, chairs, umbrellas, and BBQ. The front patio has padded loungers and you are but a few steps from the pool/entertainment area. Finally, the owners have completely stocked this condominium with everything anyone would need. The bathrooms have been completely remodeled with beautiful large tiled showers and vanities. The kitchen has new appliances and countertops, but more importantly, ample cooking utensils including pots, pan, dishes, flatware, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, glasses, knives, cutting boards and paper supplies. The large front room has a beautiful large screen high-definition smart tv and seating for six in very comfortable large sofas/recliners. One of our favorite things to do from Sandpiper is to walk a short distance to the neighboring hills and take in a host of great hiking trails including Bump-and-Grind, Hopalong Cassidy and Herb Jeffries ... and never have to take a car out! One of our favorite restaurants, The Daily Grill, was about a 10-minute walk from the condo on El Paseo. The owner was a joy to work with; extremely easy to contact and correspond with ... very kind and helpful. We had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone! A HUGE 'thumbs up'.

As the owner, we visit from time to time and ensure the property is not just clean but in tip top condition. New sheets, mattress covers, plants, paint touch ups, fridge scrubbed. The list is quite long each year but the clients are worth every bit of improvement we can manage. We sincerely hope you love staying at the property.

Perfect location and accommodations for week long vacation with my 2 adult daughters. Condo was spacious, updated, comfortable, convenient, and really close to pool which we used extensively (loved the "floaties" - really kept us cool in the pool!). Beds were incredible...best sleep we've all had in years!! Some of the patio furniture in need of repair/replacement, but all in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and plan to come back again next year.

I travel a lot for work. Platinum with few hotels and couple Airlines. Needless to say, I can be spoiled. Never stayed/user VRBO before. My wife wanted to try a place where we could feel at home and not part of a crowd or a guest. My expectations were surpassed beyond. The bathrooms, 2, are as good if not better than any "W," Marriott, or Westin, Impressive. The size of the living space is much larger than the pictures let on. Which makes sense. As this was built when large rooms and high ceilings were standard. The amenities surpass and go beyond. I am impressed with the owners having ping pong table, bikes, and other active sports equipment available. The bedrooms are large and the main master was over 500 aft by itself. I am sure.. this location is prime. Walking distance to the most exclusive retail area in desert. Even Starbucks. But the kitchen was fully equipped... I Walked to the Palm Springs museum and back up to Maestros for A Martini!! So much to talk about even the warm pool!!

I stayed here with my family and my sister's family for a week (with our 17 month & 8 month old). We were really impressed by the cleanliness and the size of the condo; the place looked even bigger in person than the photos. The master bedroom had a great lay out with and was beautifully decorated and extremely spacious. We feel like we didn't get a chance to fully utilize the place because the short length of our stay, but it has pretty much everything you need for all ages. There are a lot of books and random toys including a play station which we never got to use. Everything is walking distance including grocery stores, restaurants, a mall, the shopping strip etc. Our favourite little place was actually the Swiss Donut shop which had delicious donuts and coffee. If you ever don't feel like walking, you can always ride one of the four bicycles from the private courtyard. The owner is extremely friendly and answers really promptly. You can tell she genuinely cares and wants you to enjoy your stay and takes immediate action on any feedback. The only down side was the slow internet connection (which has been increased to a faster connection since our stay). I will definitely be staying here again the next time I visit palm desert.
