Very nice and clean. Will definitely stay here again. Everything was clean, shower sinks and refrigerator. Just need to clean the floors better. We would get hair and lent on our socks. Overall a nice place to stay away from the hustle and bustle but not too far.

This was a really lovely setup. I appreciated the cleanliness of the space, the ease of parking, and the overall setup of the property. The cottage had everything we needed. The bathroom doors were glass, which was a little strange. Overall, we would likely stay on the property again.

Such a cute and comfortable place. We enjoyed the pool area, and we were able to walk to things we wanted to do. Highly recommend!

Cute cabin! Just a couple of observations:
Bathroom sink on the left stunk every time we turned on the water & needs to be cleaned out. Couldn't open the blinds in the living room area. Would be nice to have more than 4 hangars. Finally, a larger trash can is needed.

Main Street Retreat was clean and comfortable. Location was great - A short walk from downtown shops and restaurants. We would stay here again.

Super cute little cottage. Very clean and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in along with great pillows. I'd honestly love to know where they got the bed and pillows :)
Check in was super easy and location was great. We had 3 other couples that each had their own cottage and they enjoyed it as well. Would definitely stay here again.

You cannot beat the price, cleanliness, efficiency, location, and comfort of Geese on the Gibbons. Absolute Charm knows how to do business the right way. We will be back.

We loved everything about our stay at the Main Street Retreat during the eclipse. The accommodations and location were amazing. Close enough to walk downtown, but far enough for some peace and quiet. Beautiful room and the pool and hot tub were wonderful!

Clean, cute decor, good (not great) location, can hear traffic noise. Grounds are very nice, pool/spa clean, easy parking. My only real complaint is that there was a very strong smell of Clorox upon arrival that lasted a full day.

We enjoyed our stay! Geese on the Gibbons was a comfortable place to stay for our anniversary weekend. Close enough to walk into town but not right in the middle of the crowd of a busy weekend before Christmas. Comfortable bed and nice Christmas touches placed throughout. Would definitely stay here again!

Very cute property, I love the idea of a number of small cottages that are in a "community". Great location and the location is close to all the attractions, shops, and restaurants in town. Check in was very easy and the cottage met all of our needs. Will stay there again the next time we are in town!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had 4 other friends who also stayed in other rooms on the property. We loved all having our own space but were able to be together.

So conveniently located as well as cute and charming. We stayed 6 days, and during the week we practically had the pool and hot tub to ourselves. Super clean, comfy beds, great walk in shower. The only thing we missed was a toaster and a second luggage stand. We highly recommend this place.

Quaint, special, perfect! Surprise getaway with my bff for her bday. We both loved it! We were in the Geese, so adorable. Exactly what I hoped it would be.

First time visiting Fredericksburg and this location was really close to everything. Literally walking distance from downtown. Cozy 1 bedroom the perfect size for me and girlfriend. It was nice and clean had everything we needed.

Perfect location. As we had two large suitcases, it would have been nice to have two luggage stands...inconvenient to keep one on the floor.
Also, the Internet/WiFi situation is abysmal.
PS. The sink was missing it's stopper/drain...making it harder to wash the dishes, etc.

No contact checkin made it super easy when we arrived. This was a cute and quiet property. We stayed Sunday - Friday and was very low key. Pool and outdoor area was cleaned every morning since there were droppings from the trees daily. Property is on Main Street but we would drive to the visitor center and then walk to all the shopping. This cottage style house was all we needed! Wish the room had a Keurig instead of a coffee pot but we managed! Great place to stay to get away and no kids was a perk for us since we left ours back home. Would definitely recommend.
