This is a stunning traditional house. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. Wiem speaks good English. She is very friendly and helpful. It is centrally located within walking distance to most sites in Houmt Souk. The bed and pillow are comfortable. The hot shower has good flow. There is a basic kitchen also available.

Everything! Such a beautiful place to stay, well thought out with lovely Tunisian/Djerban touches everywhere. Spotlessly clean. Wien was so welcoming and always happy to help.

Absolutely nothing!

A hidden gem in Houmt Souk within walking distance to the town's main sights.

This place is great and so unic! It is located in neighbourhood in Djerba walking distance to the souq, but with no signs or any information. You have to contact with the local host to pick you from a place agreed and take you there. Taxis cant find it. After that everything goes smoothly. The room is stylish, wide and also comfortable with A/C. There is a kitchen on side but I didn't use it. Would recommend for sure!

Absolutely fantastic place. Style, attention to detail, and the location were just perfect. Every corner deserves a picture. Contact with the host was always effortless, and she would answer every single question we would have.

Island suffers from problems with water so unfortunately, the whole area is sometimes cut off from water. That is the very only issue I could possibly think of.

It wasnt cleaned to a high enough standard. Especially the bathroom area and beds Things where left from the people before rather than put in the bin when cleaning The giving cash rather than bank transfer was difficult Ni wifi made communication hard as phones would not work out there. No tv

Such a great place! The design is beautiful, location is excellent, and hosts are lovely. This was our favourite place we stayed in during our entire time in Tunisia. Just make sure to contact the hosts in advance as communication can be a bit tricky/slow. If this place is available though, take it!!

The bed could have had a better base, because it was on the floor my partner had a sore back.

special experience. felt like sleeping in a palace, with loads of space and privacy. Feels like going back in time. Close to the Medina with access to restaurants and what you need.

pitty I didn’t get to know about the in advance breakfast it would have been nice in such environment. it needed a bit better cleaning and again I don’t know what’s going on with towels in Tunísia but there was only one towel. There should be some light, at night it’s a bit tricky to get there.

Unique apartment with wonderful design in every detail and decorated with beautiful art from the artists the property works together. A lovely stay in Homt Souk. Within the thick walls its cool and quiet. At check-in we got many tips and then followed the recommendation to rent bikes from Djerba Insolite volonteer organisation. Very spacious apsrtment with nice places to sit around. Big bathroom with big shower. All with modern standards.

No wifi, no TV, but isn't that good ? Can read a book in the nice apartment. A bit tricky to find and need to communicate with owner when to come, but that worked very well, we received quickly whatsapp answer and were picked up by the friend of the owner near the property.

AMAZING "hus" with beutifulll style ornamented by local artists, huge house, bed, toilet... It is the BEST apartment I have never been in!! The courtyard is fantastic and they have a kitchen to prepar your own food. Wiem, the person in charge, is very friendly and nice and gives her help with everything you need. This is a must if you go to Djerba :)

This guest room is beautiful. It mixes the architecture of traditional Djerbian houses with a nice touch of creativity in the decoration. The reception was wonderful. The traditional and delicious breakfast. The artisanal coworking... I highly recommend it!

Place a bit isolated

Wiem was excellent host.She prepared us a delicious breakfast with all amazing Tunisian home made foodand she had a lot of tips to discover Djerba. Dar Tenast it’s beautiful space to feel home with all small details which make this space cosy.
