Reiner's place was wonderful! It was so clean and comfortable and very close to groceries and the bus station. We loved it! Perfect for our family of 6. Very nice kitchen, the bathrooms were great and the beds very comfortable.

We stayed for 5 days while visiting Munich with my family. The apartment was clean and pretty large!! Everything was well kept and updated. The transit to Marienplatz was about 25 minutes. This apartment is in a very nice quiet neighborhood, however, the closest ATM is about 0.5 miles away. So if you need cash, get it at the airport or wait until you're in the city. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 6 stayed at this apartment and enjoyed it very much. Frau L. was there to let us in when we arrived from an exhausting flight and she communicated with us well before we arrived. Other reviewers said it was very bright and there weren't curtains so we brought sleep masks but at night it was no problem sleeping. The kitchen was large enough to make a few meals and the dining table was very big. We thought the washer only (without a dryer) would be a problem but found the huge drying rack helped air-dry things well. The only problem was that the wifi wasn't as good. For instance, I could read emails but not send them. It did work to confirm our return flight and look up some tourist information so that was good. The walk up the stairs was only a little difficult with heavy suitcases but otherwise, was no problem for our family. It was very nice to live in this quaint town for a week and sightsee Munich. There are several grocery stores and a bakery nearby. We ate at the local restaurant one night. The kaesespaetzle was very good. We bought our day bus/u-bahn tickets at the Tabak so that was very convenient too.

A wonderful apartment in a nice neighborhood. Our family has stayed at this apartment two times and we love it! It's close to everything you need including a bakery, grocery store, and bus line to the subway. It's a great place to come back to a relax after a full day of sight seeing. The apartment is very large and can easily accommodate up to eight people. The only suggestion I can offer to improve this great apartment is to have a hands free shower instead of the shower/bath combination. The owner, Regina, is wonderful and I highly recommend this apartment. Our family plans to stay here whenever we visit Munich!

The house was a pleasure to stay, with a central kitchen area that we could all hang out. The house was clean and well organized and had plenty of spaces to relax. If you are travelling with a larger group of people this would be a great place to book!

I was really, really impressed with this rental and told the owner I'd gladly stay for 3 months. Highlights: spotlessly clean, I mean everything. If you're paying a cleaning fee, you want it to be clean, and it was. Terrific almost suburban location, yet easy to get to the bus and transit system into downtown Munich. Huge space with huge TV, top notch appliances all around. Possible negatives that we didn't find that big of a deal - 3rd story walkup. No shower curtain. No window shades (really only a concern in the bathroom or if you want to sleep in, but we made do). The owner was super sweet and gave us a wide berth yet was available if we needed her. Highly recommended and perfect for families with well behaved kids.

We spent two weeks in this very nice apartment. It was perfect for my family of 4. The location was great. 15 minutes tops from downtown Munich. Supermarket, bakery very close. No restaurant but that was not a problem. Very spacious and clean. Would need a shower curtain and window curtains in the bathroom. But this common in Europe. We recommend strongly this place.

Si vous cherchez un appartement dans un coin tranquille de Munich, ne cherchez plus! Cet appartement TRÈS TRÈS bien équipé (un des meilleurs que j'ai jamais loué) se trouve à 3 minutes de marche d'un épicerie. De plus, il est très facile de rejoindre le centre ville grâce à un bus qui passe à tous les 10 minutes (3 minutes de marche). Ainsi, vous avez rapidement accès à la ligne de métro U5 (Laimer platz) qui se rend directement dans le centre ville de Munich. Comptez 30 minutes du moment que vous quittez l'appartement pour vous rendre au centre ville. L'appartement est très propre et il y a beaucoup de lumière naturelle (fenêtre). L'hôtesse est sympathique et parle très bien l'anglais. Elle habite au rez-de-chaussée et peut facilement répondre à vos interrogations (à vos courriels également). Point négatif: Il n'y a malheureusement pas beaucoup de restaurants à proximité de l'appartement mais le restaurant/bar fait des excellente pizza (1 minute à pied). Autre chose, c'est que l'appartement ne compte qu'une chambre fermée. Les autres, sont situées à l'étage (4 lits individuels). L'intimité pour ces personnes manque. Le rideau de douche est inexistant. En fait, il s'agit d'un bain, et non d'une douche. Finalement, il n'y a aucun rideau dans les fenêtres. Bref, si vous comptez dormir longtemps le matin et que n'aimez pas la clarté, vous devriez y réfléchir à deux fois.

This place is giant. We were only two people, but chose this terrific apartment because we wanted a full kitchen to celebrate Thanksgiving. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. The apartment is very clean and modern, with room to comfortably fit about a half dozen people. It gets great light and is very warm. Requires a short 5 to 10-minute bus ride from the trains, but we never had a problem. Bakery, grocery store, butcher, liquor store, etc. all nearby. Plus there's two bathrooms and a washer. Awesome. The only catch is that tall guests will require extra care while showering and walking around the loft. The apartment is on the very top of a house. I'm 6'4" (193cm) and kept hitting my head on the roof. Not a major problem though. Anyone looking for a little extra room in Munich would do well to book here.

What a beautiful and clean apartment in very quiet and peaceful area!! Close to bus and metro station. walking distance to everything you need on a daily basis. We really lucked out with this place. If I ever were to visit Munich again I will definitely book this place again.

We got home yesterday (to the Frankfurt area) after an amazing week in München. Our group included myself, my husband, our 4-year-old son, and my in-laws. Pros: -Great location, far enough away from downtown that it's quiet and cool at night yet close enough to take public transport everywhere very easily. -3 minutes walk to groceries, bakery, bus stop, pharmacy, and convenience shop where we bought our bus/train tickets each day. -HUGE kitchen with large dining table. -Lots of space for our 4-year-old to play and run around. -Privacy for my in-laws in separate downstairs bedroom, we had lots of space in the loft. -Fabulous fridge, oven, stove, toaster, dishwasher, and wonderful utensils. Everything we needed to prepare and cook meals. -A wonderful park nearby for our son (located in the Baumschule down the road). -2 bathrooms. -Everything was very clean! -Comfy beds and good bedding/pillows. -Great price :) -We went to a restaurant near the house (close to the S-Bahn station in Laim) on our last night called Mama's Küche. It was fabulous! Amazing food, drinks, dessert, and wonderful owner and wait-staff. A must! Cons: I honestly can't think of a single thing. Thank you Regina for providing such a wonderful apartment!

This lovely apartment is everything the photos and reviews say, and more! A lovely, quiet neighborhood, with supermarket, bakery, apothecary, liquor store all within a very short walk. Easy access to the autobahn, especially for those who are headed toward the mountains. The owners are friendly and helpful. We were there for two weeks, and it was great to be able to do laundry on premise. I'd stay here again. Thank you!

Very nicely equipped, nice crockery, very very co-operative owner, they have kept all the tourist info in apartment, including time of public transport bus... very good frequency from 6am to 11 pm ... 15-20 min from Hauptbahnhof, quite location in city, very near supermarket, and everything u need... probably the best I have ever stayed abroad..(this was my 3rd visit of munich and 6th international travel)

We stayed here during Oktoberfest and absolutely loved it! The house is massive, full of natural light and has all the facilities you could possibly need. What I liked about the most was that you had a beautiful house to come back to and relax in after a long day sightseeing or drinking in the beer tents. My biggest concern at first was the location, but it's not terribly difficult to figure out how the buses and metros work and it only takes 20-30 minutes to get to central Munich. It was even quicker to get to Theresienwiese, where all the Oktoberfest action is. I would definitely recommend staying here!
