As Grandparents we wanted a close home and a home with a view and by the lake. Aunt and Uncle. Mom and Dad and 2 brothers stayed with us. Best of both worlds. Mornings with coffee on the upper deck with a beautiful view. Able to make all the practices and come back to a large kitchen for all the cooks. And sit at the table for large family fun. Then a short walk down to the lake. So refreshing and fun. Then back to the kitchen for supper. And down to the lower deck for the evening around a fire pit We strung lights and it was the perfect evening of family laughter and some serious basketball lol We all came from Georgia. And Oklahoma Definitely exceeded our expectations! The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had.

I rented this house to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. The party guests consisted of us, our 14-year-old son, two other couples and a dog. The plan was to have a relaxing weekend spending time together. We were greeted with a “Happy Birthday” note and a gift of chocolates left on the kitchen counter by the owners, which was incredibly thoughtful. A few minutes later our friends arrived and surprised my wife! The weekend was off to a great start. We spent the first night eating, talking and laughing. The house was the perfect size and contained everything we needed to cook our meal, including two grills. It is stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils, etc. After dinner, the ladies conversed on the back deck, while the guys competed in pool and arcade games. The bedrooms and bathrooms provided more than enough room to spread out for nighttime privacy. Our second day was spent hiking at Keowee State Park, a 40 minute drive. Then we drove to Clemson for dinner, which is 20 minutes away. The house location is the perfect combination of seclusion and easy access to “civilization”. We walked down to the dock and even though the water was too cold for us, the cove would be perfect for summer swimming and fishing. I texted the owner once for a quick question and he responded within minutes. He also sent a text as we were leaving on Sunday thanking us for staying. The owners are definitely vested in their guests. As we left my wife said “it was a perfect birthday”!

This house provided lots of space for my family to enjoy time at the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked and the owners are very quick with their responses to any questions you may have! We will definitely stay here again!

We keep coming back to stay in this beautiful home. Owners are so great to help with any and everything that we needed. The updates every year are very nice and make the home even nicer. Love that our whole group can hang out in multiple rooms and we have room to gather together and not feel cramped or crowded.

Such a great place for a family gathering! We were there for our daughter's December graduation and we loved the house and it was fully stocked with what we need and super comfortable for our family. The hosts were prompt and responsive. Highly recommend for any family group who plans a trip to the Clemson area!

Great stay for weekend Clemson football game with friends. Very clean home. Owners are extremely nice, great communication, easy check in. Owners surprised us with a nice box chocolates as a welcoming gift.

The property location on the lake is wonderful! The owners are extremely helpful and engaged/ engaging. We were able to rent a pontoon boat and a few through many hours on the lake. Additionally, the access to golf and great food makes for a very enjoyable experience.

The 10 of us (grandparents and 2 families of 4) vacation every summer. This place just might be our favorite and we have been doing this for 9 years! The kitchen was the best with everything you could possibly need. The dock was great for fishing and parking our pontoon was easy. Loved seeing the high school bass tournament

We had the best time! Booking, checking in, all through out our stay was top notch! The owners were an absolute pleasure to work with and if we get to fish another tournament at Lake Hartwell we will be booking again!!

Has all that you need for a relaxing house on the lake

Once again, we really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful lakeside home. Even though it rained the first 4 days, we still had a great time! Lots of things to do inside as well as outside. The owner is always very quick to respond to messages and has been very kind to us. We will be back!

This location was perfect for my family (including our dog). Aside from a few grocery runs, we had no reason to leave the location. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The owner was very communicative. He even provided a packet full of everything you needed to know ( passwords , entertainment , shopping nearby etc…). We will definitely stay there again in the future.

What a perfect house on the lake! So much bigger than you think and super cozy! Beds were VERY comfortable and the kitchen was totally stocked. Plenty of room for 6 teenagers and my husband and I. Tons of room and eating spaces. Great grills! Very helpful info from owner. We may never stay anywhere else again!

Great location For Clemson activities. (this was my daughters graduation). It’s also perfect for a lake retreat just to relax.

Our family stayed at the location for Spring Break. We brought our boat and moored it at the dock during our stay. Everything was perfect. The house was very clean and spacious. It had all the normal accommodations you would expect (linens, towels, etc). The owners were kind enough to check in on us just a few times to make sure we were taken care of. Overall it was a wonderful visit and we are looking forward to staying there again!

Our family of five spent a Spring Break week on Lake Hartwell and used this location as a home base while our oldest toured Clemson University and we did day trips in the area. The home was very clean, the listing was accurate and communications were excellent throughout the process. Our youngest two spent nearly every day fishing from the boat dock and we caught everything from catfish to perch and crappie. The home was cozy and beds were comfortable. The kitchen supplies and all appliances were everything we needed and more. WiFi service was also very good. Although the home is in a rural area, as we had hoped for, both Clemson and Seneca are within 20 minutes giving you lots of grocery and restaurant options. We were about 1:15 minutes from the Highlands and Cashiers and did dedicate one day to hiking and visiting waterfalls. There's also a nice miniature golf course about 15 minutes away from the house. Although the water was too cold for swimming, I'd imagine this would be a great summer location for families with kids for a summer getaway.

Kevin could not have been nicer and more accommodating to us for our family football weekend at clemson. He let us check in whenever and let us stay a bit later to accommodate our return travel plans on the last day. He left a lure he had success with to aid us in our fishing which unfortunately was not successful. And they had left a while bunch of restaurant menus and we ordered in wanting to spend as much time in his beautiful house. We had a fire going and it was a magical family weekend. Highly recommend this lovely house on the lake and working with Kevin. Easily accommodated all 8 of us.

Fishing, kayaking, basketball, cooking and more! We had a lovely visit. I appreciated the many TVs. The guys played pool as well. Great getaway!

We have stayed at this property numerous times and it has been wonderful every time! The house is very clean and in excellent condition and perfect for us, friends, and family. The dock on Lake Hartwell is excellent! The owners are wonderful too and clearly want their guests to be comfortable and enjoy their stay!

Wonderful house with everything we needed. We stayed with another couple and our college age son, had more than enough space and loved the lake location. Easy travel in to Clemson. Kevin and Cris were fantastic hosts, very responsive and nice to work with. We would stay again!

This was a great home on a quiet part of the lake to spend family time. We enjoyed fishing on the dock and playing in the game room. This was a perfect place to relax and fish. We loved the experience.
