This place was perfect for our five year old son’s first trip to the beach! There was plenty of room for four adults and one child and our two dogs. Loved the quieter location on this end of the beach. Enjoyed watching the waves on the deck daily with the dogs and loved the gated feature so they were always secure out there with us. Would definitely stay here again!

Looks exactly as advertised. If you're looking for a quiet beach getaway that is not in a tourist area then I highly recommend it. Host has thought of almost everything. I pack a lot because I'm always worried it won't be provided, but I was pleasantly surprised. I could have left the beach chairs at home. Thanks for the crock pot btw! The only thing I might suggest for parents of tech-y kids that want to bring a game system is being an extra power supply and extension cord. Overall, wonderful place to stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

I don’t WANT to write a good review because more people might book up times that I want to go back. But I must be honest… the house is FAR better than the description and pictures. Spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated with good quality furnishings. Everything works. Well equipped kitchen. Stunning location. Nearly deserted beach - at least at the end of February. Enough so the doggos could run off leash quite a bit. A tad chilly (but not cold to someone from New Hampshire). Nancy, you have raised the bar for vacation rentals!

This is the second year in a row that we have enjoyed a 2 week stay in Glori East over the Christmas Holiday. The host is exceptionally thoughtful and responsive. The location is ideal: right on the beach with both sunrise and sunset views, a little over 1.5 miles to the point and 2 miles to the pier (we enjoyed lots of walks and runs along the beach). This is a cute little park that our girls (ages 7 and 11) love walking to (neighborhood is very safe with no through traffic). The décor is updated and beachy (just like the pictures) and the kitchen has all the basics that you need. The deck has a gate so that it is safe to leave your dog outside without worrying that they will run down to the beach without you. This is a great place to enjoy the beach with your family, both 2 and 4 legged!

This was our 2nd time at Glori East and it keeps getting better and better! See you again in April!

This was our second stay, both in the fall, November. We enjoyed the beautiful weather, the same neighbors, playing bridge with the Morehead City Bridge Club, good food and our friendship!

This was the first time we have stayed right on the beach, and Glori East was a fantastic choice. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, each with sliding doors to a porch with ocean views. Downstairs is a very workable kitchen with lots of seating, a half bath, and a large living room with plenty of seating and table surfaces (we had a puzzle going on one, a game on another, and a workspace). The large porch off the living room leads straight to the beach or down to the outdoor shower. Laundry is on the ground floor, where the cornhole boards were a huge hit with the kids. It was such a treat to be able to walk right out to the beach or to sit on the porch and enjoy the view, and the house is a pleasure to be in. Highly recommended and we would love to return. A few things to keep in mind: lots of stairs in case you have anyone in your party with limited mobility - this is probably true of most beach properties in the area. Bring your own beach towels and beach toys. Starter supplies like TP, paper towels, hand/dish/dishwasher soap, trash bags are provided but probably won't last a week's stay. A few days of our stay, mosquitoes and biting flies were a major nuisance on the beach and porch, so consider bug spray.

This beach house was perfect in every way. Lovingly tended to and the location can't be beat! Our host was wonderful and responsive. I recommend this beach house without a single reservation!

What an amazing property. And the location is even better. Literally a few steps and you are in the sand. Super comfortable place where we felt right at home. Great outdoor space. Nancy was very responsive and helpful. Absolutely wonderful stay! One thing to mention: I don't know if the listing calls this out but this property is a duplex/townhome with a separate unit attached on the west side. This was not a problem at all for us as we didn't hear any noise and the neighbors were super friendly. Depending on who is staying next door it could be a different story. But it would not stand in the way of us renting this property again.

We absolutely loved our stay! Everything was perfect. We have no complaints whatsoever, except that the week went by so quickly!!!! I will definitely book here again.

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The views from every room were amazing and the multiple decks allowed us to enjoy the sunny days even if there was a small breeze. The kitchen had all the essentials and we enjoyed cooking many meals during our stay. Also the beach chairs and cornhole boards were a bonus for our nice beach days. Our location was perfect as we were minutes away from trails, stores and the point for the beautiful sunsets. We thoroughly enjoyed everything this property had to offer!

Nancy raised the bar with this rental property. Every single thing you could hope for is within reach in this well thought out beachfront property. So lucky to have found this gem. The dogs were so at home!! See you next time.

The home is absolutely lovely and Nancy was so welcoming (she even left a lovely gift for us on arrival). You can see the ocean from every room and I felt safe letting my kids play on the beach in front of the house while I watched them from the deck. The house is well decorated, clean, and the kitchen stocked with the basics. I can't wait to come back!

Glori E is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean up close! Listening to the sound of the surf day and night for a week carried us into carefree living!
