We loved out stay. Great location. Clean spacious. Perfect family holiday house.

The property is first class and well designed for large family groups as each have their own space, plus there is ample communal space. The kitchen and appliances throughout the house are all modern and excellent. Whilst not an easy walk from the main beach for younger families it is an quick car or bike ride, and there is plenty of walks to explore around the property for young and old. The property manager Malcom is very helpful and friendly. We had an unfortunate sequence of events that led to some property damage, and Malcolm was quick to get things sorted out in a manner that did not interrupt the flow of our stay. Overall everyone had a fantastic time, and the property and its location contributed greatly to our time in Matarangi.

This was a beautiful holiday home in a wonderful location. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had beautiful views and was perfect for two families to share. It had everything you need. We loved our time in Matarangi. The beach is stunning. The golf course is great for bar snacks and drinks or a meal and nearby Luke’s Kitchen in Kuatounu is a fabulous beachy pizza restaurant. So much to do around the area. Highly recommend this property to stay at, would go back in a heartbeat!

This house is just awesome. The layout allows families to have there own space. Such a an amazing view. It's it's kitted out with everything you need and more. We will definitely be back!

Awesome location close to not ramp and beach. The house is well set up for families and well appointed to a high standard. Liked the separate areas allowing families could have their own space. Beautiful garden leading down to a quiet public walking/biking track which the kids enjoyed. Very friendly to deal with, would definitely stay again. Recommend to all.

This house was perfect for giving our group of 8 plenty of separate relaxing spaces. The kitchen was very well equipped and great to have a BBQ to use. The beds were large and very comfortable with the bonus of a selection of different pillows. The landscaping is also a real feature and compliments the view perfectly. Communication with the owner was really easy.

We loved our stay in this stylish and spacious bach with a beautiful view of the harbour and just a short walk from stunning Matarangi beach. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped, the music sound system was amazing, and our host was helpful and generous. Having the use of bikes to ride along the harbourfront and kayaks that could be easily launched near the house was a great extra. We will definitely come again if we can.

Great floor plan that allows for everyone in the house to have privacy and yet enjoy common areas with great views. The open courtyard is especially comfortable.

We had a week in Matarangi and staying in this beautiful home was the icing on cake. It’s a stunning home in a stunning location, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. We were a family group including the grandparents and grandkids and the house was perfect for us. We would love to go back!!

House is so lovely and clean however kitchen can be upgraded with more glasses and plates and cleaning products such as sponge and . Enjoy the stay.

The house was great! Plenty of space for our group of 8 adults. We particularly loved the deck (and sunset views) & that the kitchen was right there so we could all still socialise. A couple of our group commented it might be the best summer house we’ve rented!

The sunny Coromandel weather helped as well!Every detail was considered and we really made use of the great kitchen facilities as well as the outdoor areas. There was space for everyone to comfortably sleep - and the bath in the main bathroom was a hit! :) In short- we had such a lovely weekend and would love to come back again! Thank you.

Wonderful property. Discription doesn't do it justice . Plenty of individual space for mixed age group. Well designed house for shared living. Very comfortable, relaxed stay with everything you could want . Voted best place ever by family who have rented many holiday homes. Thank you for sharing your oasis with us.

Beautiful property just a stunning place to stay, we didnt want to leave. The hosts and people that look after the property are great hosts making sure that every goes to plan and that you have a relaxing stay in Matarangi.

It was magnificent and the attention to detail was wonderful! Wished we could have stayed longer!

We loved this house. There was enough space for our 3 teens to each have their space when needed as well as places to gather. The views are spectacular and very calming. We had everything at our fingertips, including heating, wifi, sky TV, apple box and fully decked out kitchen. The beds were so comfy and cosy just like home. Easy check in and out. We literally didn't want to leave. We can't wait to go back here again.

Situated a one minute's walk from the estuary and lovely view at high tide. A good 6-7 min walk to beach. House is very new and can comfortably accommodate 8-10 people - has a guest house which can sleep up to 4 and has a separate bathroom but no fridge or cooking facilities. Small but nice outdoor living area, thoughtfully screened off from prevailing westerlies allowing dining outside in most wind conditions. Fablous viewing area for sunsets. Great kitchen with nifty sliding window out to BBQ/dining area. Good sized double fridge/freezer (but this is the only fridge) requiring us to keep beverages chilled in a chilly bin and buy ice everyday. Very limited serving platters, bowls, ramekins etc, so would suggest taking some of your own if you serve canapés and do buffet-style catering. The teenagers would say best bonus was the air con in almost every room which was very much welcomed. We loved the large garage and selection of bikes and two really good kayaks on wheels which we just pushed down to the estuary. Great washing machine and dryer and generous amount of washing powder. Also the outdoor hose was fantastic to wash down the boat and watergear. Christina, the host, and her husband could not have been more helpful, turning up within minutes to mend the icemaker and other maintenance issues. The only reason I haven't given it five stars is the lack of a second fridge and dining/entertaining utensils etc which for us was of high importance but for others who are not foodies or have teenagers may not be necessary. All in all a fabulous 5 Star property, beautifully clean, comfortable beds, stunning bathrooms, the master with a really great walk in wardrobe with huge amounts of space to hang up all your clothes - plus loads of drawers so you could totally unpack and feel you were at home. Thanks for lovely stay.

Well appointed house with a raft of bells and whistles that elevated our enjoyment of the property. Would definitely stay again. Sam B

The house was spacious, quiet, and very clean in a private setting. Pictures can’t begin to do it justice; it completely exceeded our expectations. The house was filled with modern amenities including digital door locks, an alarm system, an entertainment system that easily connected to all our devices with speakers and controls in every room, heated floors/towel racks, and a cozy gas fireplace (all top notch – they spared no expense). Christina was a responsive and gracious host. There were only three of us for a few days during the winter – we found plenty of space to spread out in a house that could sleep twelve! We used the kitchen primarily for coffee (use the espresso machine and milk frother for flat whites) and breakfast, but along with the outdoor grill it was ready for all sorts of cooking adventures. The location was lovely, with spectacular views, easy access to the bay for launching kayaks, and a short 1-km trek to a pristine 4-km beach. Once I got the hang of driving on the left on two-lane winding roads through the mountains, we found plenty to do even in winter when many of the shops and restaurants had reduced hours. Either Whitianga or Coromandel was just a 30-minute drive (but Whitianga was easier). Since there were no crowds in winter, it made activities like booking a massage at the spa (do it) easy at the last minute. We particularly enjoyed Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach, another 30 minutes past Whitianga, also not crowded. Highly recommended.

We stayed here in late feb with 8 adults. The property was incredible and very luxurious. The best aspect was the indoor/outdoor flow that provided multiple areas for us to socialize or just watch the view. There is one self-contained area that was perfect for my newly married son and his wife. The view across the Harbour is stunning and the gorgeous sandy beach is just a 10 minute walk. If you want some really special memories, then book it up.

What a stunning and well equipped house and property. There were 10 adults in our group and there was plenty of space for us all to relax and enjoy ourselves. Would definitely recommend this property to everyone.

We were in Matarangi for our daughter’s wedding. I rented Christina’s Bach as it accommodates a large number of people. When we arrived I was absolutely shocked, it is the most gorgeous property and has everything you could possibly want! We used Bookabach in the UK when we travelled around for the Rugby World Cup, and we never ever had such fabulous accomodation. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this beautiful property. Kathryn Anderson

Lovely spacious property which is extremely well appointed with extra touches that make it special. The property was immaculately presented. The location on the harbour front is excellent.

Very much a 5Star property with amazing views out over the water. Very easy to find. Well equipped, sadly due to staying in winter we weren't able to make full use of all the water toys (kayaks etc) that were in the garage. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean and tidy, well furnished and decked out, latest tech was well used and complemented the house well, we could of turned up with nothing and still had a great time. even some starter food was available for us to use. great pillow selection and heaps of blankets towels and lots of space. Location was the best part esp in the mornings watching the harbour wake up

The property is much much better than it looks from pictures online! They are so modern and very comfortable like 5 start resort just at the harbour front (or 7 minutes walk to amazing beach front). Everything is so neat, detailed and high tech, all the kitchen and bathroom appliances are high end top quality brand. Too much to include here, like all kinds of pillows for you to choose, and all the possible beach toys and water sport gear to choose, multiple room design possibly fit 3 families...
