This apartment was better than advertised. It was beautiful, comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood but still close to all the action in Edinburgh. We didn’t want to leave….

This property is stunning, filled with the owners’ artwork and photography. We were greeted with a welcome basket and lovely note from the owners. The location is a block from the tram, Princes Street, and Broughton Street which boasts bakeries, a wine shop, and restaurants including a Michelin-starred restaurant. The flat bottle is spacious yet cozy. The five of us absolutely loved it. I highly recommend to anyone staying in Edinburgh and look forward to visiting again.

We stayed here for a business trip and loved the property. The location is fantastic. The property itself is exceptional. The design is wonderful and the layout is convenient. We will stay again when visiting Edinburgh if we have the chance.

This apartment is absolutely beautiful! Beautiful art, library of books, tastefully decorated! The construction, design and build quality are top notch. The pictures don't do it justice. Tall ceilings, ceiling height windows. Perfect amenities. Spotless. Perfect for a family of 5 with adult and teen children. The location is fantastic! Easy walk to EVERY where, and easy access to transportation. Very quiet. The hosts are very courteous and responsive. Thank you for sharing your beautiful apartment with us! We had a great time! One of our top vacation rentals ever! Will definitely return!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Art House. It is beautifully appointed with lovely hospitality by the owners and the property manager. I can’t say enough about the quality of the apartment and its location within walking distance of so many wonderful Edinburgh sites. Thank you to the hosts for making our first experience in Scotland so memorable!

This beautiful apartment, which dates to the early 1800s, has all the period charm with all the modern conveniences. Great location, with everything you might need for a wonderful stay in Edinburgh. We especially appreciated the welcome basket. Delightful.

We had the best stay at The Art House! The apartment is beautifully furnished with a combination of antiques and modern pieces and is in the perfect location to get most anywhere in Edinburgh on foot. Comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and easy to access up just 3 flights of stairs, we can’t say enough good about our stay at The Art House. We will definitely be back!

Great location, exactly as described in the listing. We were welcomed w a basket of goodies, including coffee, wine, and biscuits. Property was clean and comfortable. If we had to find something to complain about, it would be that there are no shades over the transom windows in the two smaller bedrooms. The light in the building hallway stays on all night, so if you need complete darkness to sleep, the single room is not for you.

Perfect in every way!
Beautifully decorated and maintained home in the heart of Edinburgh. Very conveniently located but still quiet area. Probably the cleanest property we’ve stayed in, and the management was very responsive throughout the entire process. U.S. hosts should take notes!
