The staff and house was great

From our communications with John, the property manager, to our farewells with the staff our vacation at Paradise Plum exceeded expectations. It was our first family vacation in Jamaica and most certainly will not be our last at Paradise Plum. Through clear and responsive communications, John ensured that our needs were addressed. Upon our arrival and throughout our stay Nikita, Shavar, Javaan, Kenneisha, and Stewart extended their hospitality, kindness, attention to detail, quality, and support which made our experience so memorable! I highly recommend Paradise Plum and the extraordinary staff! We definitely plan to visit again!

The Owner was very informative and timely responsive to all inquiries prior to checking in. All of the staff from the butler, chef, driver, housekeeper and groundskeeper were very attentive, pleasant, professional and efficient. The property is exactly as pictured and described and very comfortable. We had 4 couples stay at the house and accommodations were more than adequate. We would definitely stay again and recommend Paradise Plum to our family and friends. Thank you.

The property exceed my expectation but most importantly the staff was awesome!!!!!! The pool was prefect. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. Staff was pleasant and professional. The chief food was very good. Would definitely come back.

Stayed here with the family in the run up to our wedding in Mo Bay. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish, the team led by Nikki couldn’t have made our stay any better. They made this our holiday we have needed for yours. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough. The Villa is stunning and so close but far enough away from the centre. When celebrating someone everything needs to be outstanding and this property was indeed outstanding! The staff, specifically Nikita our butler and Javaan our chef were incredible. Nikita set up massages for us and made sure we were CONSTANTLY attended to. When we were out and after an excursion we visited a local restaurant. After that meal everyone in our party decided to never go out to eat again and eat at the house because our food was delicious! We were specific in what we wanted to try and Javaan was eager to please. Shavar, our driver, was also amazing and accommodated everything we asked of him. The property is a bit far from some of Jamaica’s attractions, but if you are willing to spend a little time in the van, Shavar will make it happen. Having the option to have our laundry done during our stay made it easier to return home and not face that dreaded task. John the property manager was great to work with and most questions were answered within 12 hours if not sooner. He communicated regularly and with good detail to set clear expectations! Overall we would all absolutely come back to Jamaica and this property specifically.

We had an amazing stay! The house was just as pictured. It was very clean and spacious. The staff was absolutely amazing and took exceptional care of us! Would definitely stay again!! Thank you John for a great experience!

The house was fantastic and the service was excellent.

Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay at Paradise Plum Villa. The house was lovely and welcoming. The pool was great and the rooms were comfortable. However, what made our stay really great was the staff. Nikita the butler was kind and attentive she made sure we had everything we needed. The chef, Jovan, made delicious and exquisite meals that were well prepared and timely. Shavar, our driver, showed us great sites and watched over us on all of our excursions. Trish and Stewart, who handled housekeeping and maintenance, kept our living quarters clean and tidy. Everyone always had an upbeat attitude and positive demeanor. I really appreciated the great staff. We’d gladly stay here again the next time we’re in Montego Bay. One thing I will say is that the house is not as modern as some of the other homes in the area, but still it’s lovely and comfortable.

The house was fantastic and the service was excellent.

The pool, patio, and view were amazing! Very clean and AC worked great in bedrooms If you are big eaters, make sure you ask Javan to get groceries for more people than you have. The bigger people in our party were a little hungry! Overall staff is great, but you need to be directive about what service you want and when. It's not enough to ask them ask them to get cheese and crackers - you have to tell them when you want them served or they'll sit in the refrigerator! Very relaxing time. House furnishings a little tired, but pretty comfortable. We would go back!

The house was lovely…lots of room to hang outside by pool and living spaces Javan the chef made great good…we love spice and he delivered…all the dinners were yummy! Nikita/ butler is very sweet and always willing to help us…we had an infant with us so there was a lot food that needed to be cleaned up! Shavar/driver was very personable and willing to go anywhere…as he said..he will make it happen Simone cleaned everyday…including doing our laundry! Stewart was the outside man..very nice The food store was close by so easy to get food,alcohol, etc There’s a fish stall where we got some great fish for the escovitch dinner…we got lobsters the last nite and Javan did a great coconut curry sauce with it…of course we ate a lot of jerk! Nikita arranged for massages ( felt so good)at the house as well as the Covid test for our return We didnt do any long trips because of the baby…the rum tour There’s a little beach near the house that was very nice. Shavar took us to a beach in montego bay but when we got there there were no umbrellas available..whereas the small beach didn’t charge for chairs and umbrellas If I had a complaint I would say maybe some of the outdoor cushions need to be updated as well as towels Also be specific about your food choices with Javan …there’s alot of fried stuff… Would go back it was sooo relaxing

Our stay at Paradise Plum could not have been any better. The staff was welcoming to our group and so amazing with the children. This is so much more than a VRBO rental. We thought about staying at a resort but opted to do this instead and it was perfect. We had all of the ease of a resort with the staff meeting and exceeding all of our needs but all of the comfort of a home. We always felt taken care of and safe. The day trips with Shavar were fun and he taught us about Jamaican culture. The meals prepared by Javaan we outstanding. We have two vegetarians in our family and he accommodated all meals to satisfy everyone. Stewart and Simone made sure that everything at the home was perfect. Nikita was so helpful and kind. She really makes the house all run so smooth. She was so kind in thoughtful in her actions and in conversation. Nikita arranged in home massage and our departure Covid testing for us. Everything that we could have wanted she took care of. If we ever come back to Jamaica we will stay here again. I would highly encourage you to stay at Paradise Plum.

I don’t even know where to begin. Everything about this property far exceeded expectations. After discussing expectations upon arrival with the staff our real vacation began. Nikita, Javan, and Shavar were beyond amazing and I can’t praise each of them enough. By the end of our vacation we all became family. We loved having them around but never felt as if they were over reaching or in our way. Nikita was such an amazing help and was always there to help or ensure we didn’t need to lift a finger even though I still wanted to help with dishes and clearing the table. The meals prepared were soo good, especially Javaan’s lobster curry, the banana fritter, and his ham and egg Benedict. Highly recommend. Shavar, our driver, provided so many great recommendations for excursions, local restaurants and just providing an overall safe feeling while he drove us around Jamaica. I’d highly recommend him and not renting a car. The property was in great shape and only had a couple issues. The first was the shower pressure. It seems to only work when other people weren’t or the Gardner wasn’t watering the plants. Also, it did get a bit noisy in the early morning hours due to open windows and being close to the highway. We are able to hear the semi truck engine braking and would wake us up at times, but these issues would not stop me from renting or recommending this property again. Honestly, we can’t wait to visit again.

Paradise Plum is in the BEST location in Montego Bay -- you are in a BEAUTIFUL gated community on the White Witch golf course at Rose Hall, with views of the ocean, rolling hills, and only a few minutes from Half Moon and other resorts. We loved that we could walk around the property (golf courses and Rose Hall) during our stay. There is a complimentary beach club a short 5 minute ride away, which has amazing views and is very private. The host, John, is fantastic. He was very responsive and despite this being our first vacation rental ever, we felt very comfortable leading up to and during the trip because of his great communication and assistance. The home is beautiful and spacious (and the pool is superb), but the house was in need of some updating and renovation, particularly to the roof. However, we understand that shortly after we left, a new roof was going to be installed so that should remedy most of the issues. The house was also very clean and the housekeeper was great. It was phenomenal to have a full staff there, although some of the staff could improve. For example, within a few days, we seemed to be serving ourselves for drinks, etc., rather than the staff checking on us or offering to refill, etc. In addition, while the chef was very good (definitely ask him to make lobster), we felt like he did not buy enough food for our group of 7 for a few meals and people were left hungry. Also, it would have been nice for the chef and butler to offer any snacks, like cheese plates or fruit, during the day; but they never suggested this or offered any. This could have been our mistake by not expressly telling them to do this, but we thought this would have been somewhat standard. Be sure to bring this up with them on day one to ensure you have appetizers/snacks. The standout of the staff was Shavar, the driver, who was absolutely phenomenal. Shavar went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful vacation and was fantastic about helping us plan our days. For example, he found us a beautiful boat to take out for the day, on which we had the absolute BEST time. It was really the highlight of our trip. Be sure to speak with Shavar about activities before you book your own, as he wonderful connections across Jamaica and will give you the best ideas. We also went on the Hampden Estate Rum Tour, which was fascinating and a great day (we even got to meet the CEO!). I would also recommend dinner one night at Sugar Mill at Half Moon - perfection.

Rented this property for my husband’s 40th surprise trip! We had a total of 8 people, and felt the space was perfect for our group. Communication prior to the trip was on point and answered all my questions beforehand. However, we felt like the staff at the house was out out by our group. Breakfast food was sparse and when we asked for more, we were told there was no more…and communication with the chef was touch and go. Don’t get me wrong, the food was incredible and we all had fun but felt more of an inconvenience than not. On our last night we had a major rainstorm in the middle of the night and the upstairs suites started leaking on us while we were sleeping. Not sure I’d rent this property again.

3 couples, 6 days, 5 nights celebrating my 50th!! Nakita was the best!! Attending to our every request. She even helped my husband surprise me by decorating our room while we were away for my birthday. The chef made a beautiful and delicious cake and we were full daily from the meals prepared. Having a driver was a great plus as we didn’t have to be concerned about arranging transportation for anything! The only bump we experienced was the Beach Club telling us we had to pay for the Photoshoot we arranged. Thankfully our photographer was able to find another location. I’ve already referred several people to this property and if ever back in Montego Bay would stay again!

Paradise Plum is beautiful. Exactly what we hoped for. The home has a beautiful view and is located in a quiet, gated community. The staff (Nikita, Javaan, Semone, Stewart, and Shavar) we’re phenomenal. They were funny, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Javaan is an amazing Chef. Every meal was perfectly seasoned and filling. Nikita was so friendly and sweet. Shavar was knowledgeable driver and was able to show us around and make our day trips and excursions fun and entertaining. I would definitely recommend this house.

The property was gorgeous - exactly as described. We loved the pool, the view, the grounds and neighborhood. The beds were comfy and it is a perfect house for 4 couples as there are 4 en-suite bedrooms. The staff is AMAZING! We can't say enough about Nikita!! She is so sweet and there for everything you would ever need. Shavar was awesome! The best driver and willing to take us anywhere at anytime! Having the driver was key! Javaan the chef cooked such delicious meals - incredible food and desserts! Semone and Stewart were so helpful and nice and a pleasure to see every morning. One tip - bring lots of cash $$ as the staff needs cash for the shopping and the beach club (so beautiful) only accepts cash. We found that to be the case at a few stops around the island as well. Such a fun trip! We will definitely be back to Paradise Plum!

Javaan - our chef, provided delicious meals which satisfied even the pickiest little eaters - it felt like 5-star dining for each meal! Shavar - our driver and activity coordinator - was able to find fun activities for both adults and kids - which was not easy given COVID restrictions. Ms. Semone kept our rooms tidy and laundered our clothes before our return home. Stewart - the groundskeeper - kept the pool clean and the property tidy during our stay, he even picked some fresh mangoes for the kids:). This was our first vacation out of the country since COVID and we couldn’t have felt more safe. Everything was just seamless! We certainly plan to make this an annual family trip. Thank you staff of Paradise Plum for giving us a little bit of Paradise after such a rough year!

I took my husband to Jamaica to celebrate his 40th birthday. We've been there before and stayed at a hotel but wanted a different experience due to COVID. Due to the curfew we were unable to go out after 9pm. With that being said, WE HAD A GREAT TIME! I can't stress how accommodating the hist was. He made sure all of our request were honored. Paradise Plum has an amazing staff. Nikita was a super star. She made our stay amazing. Jovan the chef made exceptional meals daily and Shevar our driver was always on time and was able to get us whatever we needed. The property was clean and inviting. We can't wait to come back!
