Just back from 3 night stay at Lynn’s house for a family wedding. Seamless trip made easy by great communication, a spacious very well equipped home in perfect quiet neighborhood close to all Austin is known for. Incredible sized kitchen & yard for a group to enjoy. Thanks Lynn!

Great home centrally located in Austin with all the amenities you could want. Offered refreshments, snacks, and had a keurig. Great for large groups (family reunions, bachelorette parties, etc). Great communication with property managers, responded within the hour. Everything very clean.

Property was fabulous overall! We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful home, with plenty of room to entertain with a ton of amenities(coffee station was excellent). It was great to be within a few minutes of all the downtown austin hot spots. We only had some minor confusion at check-in that was a bit frustrating but the hosts Lyn and Jerry were quick to rectify the situation. Would definitely stay again.

This lovely, well furnished house with large well equipped kitchen was a perfect place for our multi-generational family gathering. An easy drive to anywhere in Austin made it a great base from which to explore the city. Would definitely stay here again.

The kitchen was very nice, though it was hard to find things. Both blow up beds lost air during the night and could not be used. There was no closet in the master bedroom and one bedroom closet was full of pillows and blankets. We were here for a wedding and we all needed to hang our clothes. We called the property manager with some questions and never got a return call. The location was very good!

Seven of us stayed here for my bachelorette. It had 3 bedrooms and a bull out couch and two large bathrooms (which was great for getting ready!). The outside patio area was so nice for hanging out (there was even a fan outside). Lynn and Jerry were very accommodating and we had no issues while at the house. On top of how great the house was itself, we were basically a 5 minute Uber to all of the different restaurant/bar areas. It is very much centrally located. Would highly recommend!

Lynn and Jerry's house was perfect for our long weekend in Austin. Slept 5 of us very comfortably! the outdoor area is so cool and is now fenced in. Very cool hanging lights and chairs to hang out in. Great amenities as well with the air fryer and coffee maker. already forwarded this property to my friend's family so they can stay there when they visit Austin next!

Lovely and so well equipped to make a home away from home!! Everything was wonderful!!!! The home, backyard and porch was perfect!!! We loved the area. And how close to everything!! Our hosts were so kind and helpful and in touch!! A must stay and we thank them for such a wonderful stay!!!

This is a great place to spend time. We were here for the Austin marathon. It's in a perfect location - walkable to South Congress and a nearby park and pool. (The pool was a huge thing for us since we are lap swimmers) The outdoor seating area was so cool - It is lit by strings of lights and nice furniture to hang out in. The kitchen had everything we needed, but honestly, we went out to dinner every night. The food in Austin is amazing. The beds were soooooo comfy. Lots of pillows and more than enough blankets. (It was cold that week in Austin) There were 4 of us - 3 sisters and my niece. We had more than enough room. Two bathrooms worked well - tons of towels and a washer and dryer. We couldn't have been happier and we would love to come back.

Great place and perfect location for downtown Austin and Rainey street. Outdoor area is amazing for hanging out and the house was super clean and comfortable. If I travel back to Austin I would stay here again in a heart beat!

Great house in Travis Heights close to everything

Our group of 6 had a wonderful time at this spacious and clean home. The outdoor area is fantastic & was where we spent most of our time. We walked to downtown from the house easily and so enjoyed the proximity to S Congress. The only feedback we’d give is to add window treatments to the bedroom windows as it’s very bright very early. The owners are great and communicative. I’d definitely recommend this home if you’re coming to Austin!

This house was perfect for 5 adults; 3 bedrooms- comfortable beds, unique fun decorating, Austin music and Austin "weird" themed. The weather was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces. The home is 10 min from most any place you want to go in Austin. Many fabulous food locations to eat!! I hope we get to stay here again!

Very clean and quiet place with a garden outside to relax in and at the same time very close to downtown , 6th street etc. The towels and linen provided were immaculate and of high quality. The place was very clean and the tiling and showers in bathroom were impressive and very pleasing

The property was great for our group of six guys. It was a great location for getting to downtown/south congress areas. The property was as described in the post and provided us with the perfect resting place between all the activities Austin offers. The only negative I have was the lack of communication on check-in/check-out policies (ie. removing sheets from beds, trash disposal, etc.). Aside from that, everything went smoothly and they were flexible to fit our flight times and made this a great experience we all will cherish.

Great location, great yard, family friendly. House was much prettier than photos. Outside of house had fresh coat of white paint, yard was beautifully landscaped. Plenty of room to socialize with family. Would definitely rent again. Neighborhood was quaint with beautiful homes and an excellent area for those who like to run or walk. Uber was always prompt. SoCo ( South Congress) is super close. Could walk to the area but about a mile hike, which isn't conducive for older parents. Overall, very pleased with house and property owners. They were even very thoughtful and left a UT gift for our graduating daughter.

We were disappointed in our stay for the following reasons. 1. The owners are not very responsive to voice mail, they would respond with an email. The owners would not give us the address of the house until arrival day. This was concerning as we were flying to Austin from various cities around the country leaving early in the am. The condition of the house is not what was depicted in the description. It appears the owners live downstairs in the basement area. 2. When not rented, the house is lived in, leaving their clothes, personal items etc. in the drawers and food in the refrigerator. One bedroom had half a closet space with 5 hangers. The other rooms had no closets. The guest bathroom faucet was loose. The bathrooms/showers had used bar soap, we purchased fresh soap after arriving. The kitchen trashcan foot pedal was broken and no instructions on where to dispose of the trash. A doorknob that we had to enter thru on the side of the house was covered with masking tape as there was no front door access. Having rented many homes through VRBO, this is the first time we were disappointed and would never recommend this house. We do not like leaving a negative review, but our hopes are the owner can remedy these few items for the next VRBO guest.

My husband, daughters and I spent spring break in Austin, and this house was perfect for our needs. Spacious, clean, with large bathrooms, comfortable beds, a fully-stocked kitchen and a stellar location to serve as a home base for sampling barbecue, rodeo, Mexican food, shopping and more! Our plan was to Uber to South Congress, but the weather was so nice, and the house was so close to everything that we ended up doing lots of walking. It was a treat to be in a neighborhood and not in a hotel, and to be so close to the highway for our jaunts out of town. And the kitchen had everything I could imagine a chef needing. We mostly ate breakfasts and leftovers, but if we'd done any real cooking I'm sure we would have been fine. The only issue we had was a lack of storage in the master bedroom and bathroom. The dresser was full of clothes, and there wasn't a closet available...nor were there places to hang towels in the bathroom. A few hooks and an empty dresser drawer or two would help. But this was a minor complaint about what was a really wonderful house. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Great hideout if you're looking to be in the heart of Austin while still avoiding the hustle and bustle of downtown. Good hosts that are responsive but stay out of your way so you can feel like you are in your own home. Highly recommend!

This was my first experience using VRBO and I wasn't disappointed! The house was perfect for my group of friends. We enjoyed the open kitchen and covered porch. The location was great and close to a lot of great restaurants and boardwalk. I appreciated how the owners let us check-in early and leave late. I would definitely stay again!

Very nice home

It was a beautiful home and every great attraction is nearby by. I will definitely be coming back here. I rate it 10/10, can't express how much I enjoyed my stay.

We loved sitting on the porch which sits up from the back of the property. You can easily forget that you are close to the city. We were able to have a lovely baby shower for my daughter with the cozy yard and grill to barbecue. The hosts were very accommodating- lending us tables to use. I highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at Lynn and Jerry's home. The place was large, well appointed with all the basics, and very clean. Our hosts kindly left a basket of snacks and treats upon our arrival and were there to assist with any questions or concerns. Since we are not drivers, the location was key. We had no trouble making the 30 minute walk from the house to downtown. We had three people with us but the home could have easily accommodated 6-8! We wouldn't hesitate to rent again.
