My husband, our 8 year old twin boys, and our 2 labs had a wonderful stay at this house! Very comfortable and clean. We loved the outdoor shower and yard. I loved reading on the screened in porch and we all enjoyed eating and playing games at the table on the porch. Great neighborhood for walking/running. Convenient location close to tons of activities, restaurants, and beaches within a short walking distance.

Walkable easily to beach or coffee shop and restaurants. Small cottage but well used space and didn’t feel small for family of 4. Great porch for relaxing. AC was a must and appreciated. Kitchen had everything we needed for the week. Comfortable beds.

We loved our stay at this cape cottage. There was plenty of space for our son to play on the screened in porch or in the yard while we enjoyed coffee. The kitchen had all we needed to cook meals during our vacation. The two bedrooms with bathrooms made it very convenient for our family when getting ready to go out for dinner. Many beaches are in walking distance and the neighborhood was lovely. Barbara was an excellent host and very easy to work with during our stay. We highly recommend this cottage for a small family with kids and pets!

We had a great time at the property. It was clean, and the screened in porch was perfect. My children are small (2 & 4) but they did fine. They enjoyed having all the beach toys available to play in the sand. It was also wonderful to have the dogs with us. We enjoyed it very much.

My Westin love, love, loved the screened in porch. We could sit out there even the one day it pored and it was like doggie tv for him.

We really enjoyed our stay here! (Mom, Dad, Grandma, kids 3 and 5) The house is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, and a lovely walk to a few beaches. It's a small house, but the large screened porch makes up for any lack of living space as that's where we spent most of the time. The house itself is really clean, well decorated, and kept up very nice.. The kids enjoyed the games and books in the house, as well as the toys in the bin outside. We took the advice left in the welcome book and took the kids to KidsFishing, and they had a blast! We also spent a lot of time on the beach, played some mini golf , got clam chowder at Captain Parkers, and biked the Cape Cod rail trail. Thanks for a great end of summer vacation!

We were so pleased to find Barbara's property last year during the pandemic and couldn't wait to return this year! She has truly thought of everything to keep moms, dads, kids and pets happy. The kitchen is stocked with lots to help facilitate BBQs and lobster dinners, the screened in porch is a great area for meals and to play lots of the games the house has, and what a treat to have beach chairs, carts and umbrellas and even a cooler for the beach. We rented linens this year which made life even easier, and the beds are super comfy. The house was spotless when we arrived and Barbara checked in to make sure we didn't need anything. The house is laid out perfectly for a family of four - two bathrooms and the outdoor shower meant we were all able to get ourselves ready, and the washer dryer meant it was easy to get ready for our 2nd leg of the trip. Locationwise, we think South Yarmouth is perfect - great beaches and restaurants, legendary mini golf and ice cream everywhere you like. My only regret is we weren't able to stay longer this time. Look forward to returning to this gem!

My wife Linda and I enjoyed our stay here. The house is perfect for the 2 of us. Neighborhood is quiet and easy walk or drive to the beaches. Screened in porch was nice for eating outside and the BBQ is right there and the lawn is nice size. Would absolutely stay again next time we are in Yarmouth. I had a few questions and Barbara answered the phone each time I called and was super nice.

This is a great cottage that always welcomes dogs with open arms. Barbara is a greatand thoughtful host!

We love this property and will keep coming here as long as we can. Our little dog comes with us. It’s an easy walk to the beach, close to shopping and restaurants, and in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for us.

Stayed at Southern Breeze for 12 nights and had a fabulous time. The house has just about everything you need for your vacation. We loved how the kitchen was stocked with essentials (besides groceries), eliminating the need to buy everything for a short stay! We rode our bike our walked to the beach...super convenient! Barbara was a wonderful host, answered our questions and gave any recommendations we asked for in a prompt manner. We would definitely stay here again!!

Sweet cottage with that quintessential Cape Cod vibe! It was so easy to settle in and to call this place home for a week! Clean and tastefully decorated, we especially loved the private oasis on the back porch!

cute clean cottage cape home. plenty of windows and cool breeze (we stayed end of June temp 60 at night 75 daytime). smart layout to allow the most use of space. plenty of paper goods and cleaning supplies ( like 10 rolls of bathroom tissues and paper towels). no need to buy water because the fridge provides water/crushed and cubed ice. there were hand soap, dish soap, detergent (we left a new container as courtesy), air freshener sprays, vacuum, broom, citronella candle, kids toys/books, cornholes, beach chairs/toys/bag cooler/beach cart. i brought my own shampoo/bedsheets/pillows and some of my fav cooking utensils but the place has everything you need to make a meal. Bring or buy straws for your drinks. My fav spots of the house are the kitchen, the screened in porch, and the outdoor lounge chairs. We barely used the living room. All beaches are walkable (10min stroll). the area is secluded with beautiful cute cape houses and gardens. there were turkeys, bunnies, and birds. Its so worth the walk! We only went to Smugglers Beach. $20 for parking if you drive (no need), free after 4pm and free if walk! Beach has public bathrooms, nice soft white sand, perfect for children. We will be back summer 2022!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Southern Breeze. We stayed with our three kids (ages 4, 6, and 8) and it was cozy. The screened in porch and the outdoor shower really made the place stand out. The house was walking distance to several beaches (we liked Smuggler’s the best) and Barbara provided us with a list of restaurants nearby where we could get takeout. The house was well stocked with paper products, plastic ware, pots/pans etc and I can’t think of anything we needed that they didn’t have. When we left our kids asked when we could go back. We had a wonderful stay!

We were very happy and impressed with the vacation home. It was very clean and during this time of Covid we felt very safe in staying here. We have rented many places on VRBO and this by far one of our favorites. It is kept up inside and out with many amenities. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It's closest to Parker's Cove beach with is a short walk of about 10-15 minutes. We would drive to the beach drop off our beach stuff and then one of us would drive back to cottage and walk back to the beach. The kitchen was stocked with the most appliances, dishes, pots and pans and food storage items I have ever seen in a rental. and many cabinets for storage. The washer and dryer are a plus. There is a keurig, brew pot and tea kettle(for those of tea lovers). The bedroom set-ups are great and each has a closet with coat hangers and bureaus. The beds are very comfortable. Both bathrooms are a good size, clean and has a shelving unit for us ladies to store our "stuff". Our favorite part of the home is the 3 season screened in lanai off the kitchen. We spent a good deal of time out there eating and entertaining family and friends. Another favorite was the outdoor enclosed shower. Every cape house needs one after a day at the beach. Barbara has done a great job with her summer vacation home. She understands the needs of renters and goes above and beyond. I recommend this to all and we will be renting again the future. We love this little house. It’s in a great location, and the place is so clean it sparkles. We were having trouble with the tv and the owners drove down a new one. We felt really guilty having them come all that way. However, we were happy to meet the —lovely couple and so welcoming. We had our little dog with us. She loved the screened in porch.

Southern Breeze was just as described if not better. Being a 10 minute walk from the beach was fantastic, with all the toys, chairs, and even cart to bring along. You also can’t beat the screened in porch after a long day in the sun. Barbara was very responsive and always pointed us in the right location. Hope we can stay here again in the future!

Pictures definitely don’t do justice to how cozy the home is. Easy 10 minute walk to the beach. Smugglers Beach was our favorite as the water was warm & not too crowded. The beach cart & chairs available for use was great. Several supermarkets, mini golf & ice cream within 5 minutes of home. Owners respond quickly to any questions/concerns.

My husband and our two young adult daughters enjoyed a wonderful week at Southern Breeze. Barbara was a terrific and helpful host from booking through checkout. The house was compact and perfect for our family. We loved the screened in porch and outdoor picnic table for our meals. We had a 10 minute walk to the beach and appreciated use of the beach buggy and beach chairs. While we did not have an extremely hot week, the living room and bedroom AC units and fans cooled the house very well. We were a 10 minute drive from the bike trail, which we also enjoyed many times during the week. Overall a great property and we hope to return.

The pictures and description do not do this place justice - perfect for our family of four looking for a relaxing vacation! We loved having access to beach chairs, cart and toys and even found supplies for our dog! It was spotless upon entry and fully stocked with cleaning supplies, paper products etc. We found Smuggler’s beach to be great for swimming and social distancing! We were so sad to only be able to stay for the week but hope to be back!

This home, area and ultimately our trip, was everything we were expecting and more. Its one of the coziest homes we have ever stayed in. As soon as we walked in it smelled great and was spotless. The property has a fully equipped kitchen and lots of toys and books which made it very easy to accommodate our 15 month old daughter (who may have rearranged a few books). The closeness to the beach made it an easy walk for everyone and a short drive to RT 28 which has anything else you may need. We look forward to returning next year to make more memories with our new family. Thank you again for allowing us to use your home.

My husband and I are from New York and spent a week in this wonderful cottage. Very well appointed, clean, and well stocked. Owner is very accessible and makes sure you are comfortable. The screened patio in the back yard is perfect for a morning cup of coffee and /or a cocktail before dinner. Would definately rent again!!

Great rental. The screened in porch was wonderful each morning for coffee and evenings. Location was a short walk to beautiful resident beach. South Yarmouth was nice mid cape location with easy access to ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and not too far from Ptown. We really enjoyed our stay. Would rent again.

Great house and close to the beach. It was our second year staying in this home and we are planning to return for a third year in 2019. Barbara is very attentive to her guests.

This was a great space for our two week stay. We’ve stayed in south Yarmouth for years and this was the best rental we’ve had. Cottage was immaculate, kitchen well equipped, washer and dryer helpful for a two week stay. Screened back porch added important living space. Beach stuff was a nice added touch. Our biggest disappointment is that it’s not available for the same two weeks next year. Will definitely go back.
