Had a great time. The place was nice, convenient, and within walking distance of everything downtown while still pretty quiet. Questions were answered quickly and overall I had a great experience. I would stay here again.

This is a converted first floor of an older home. It is really conveniently located providing great options for coffee and restaurants within walking distance. Definitely check out The Crib for coffee and Stucko’s pulled pork was great! You get driveway parking with a private entrance through an enclosed side porch. There’s 1 bedroom with a window AC unit and another window AC unit in the main living area that has a futon sleeper. Everything was very comfortable and clean, but it is an older home so set expectations appropriately. The conversion resulted in 1 quirk, you walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. The host was extremely accommodating, providing us options to store 4 very expensive Mountain bikes out of sight. We only stayed 1 night as we were just extending our trip while the other family we had been traveling with returned early. And so we didn’t use the kitchen much, but it appeared very well-appointed. We would definitely stay here again!

Had everyrhing we needed and an extremy comfortable bed

This was a beautiful place located close to Marquettes social district. Tons of food options as well as local breweries within walking distance.

The house was clean, organized and in a great location!

This was the perfect location for us to explore Marquette and visit NMU. The house had just what we needed for a long weekend. It is walking distance to shops, coffee shops, brew pubs, and restaurants.

When I arrived at the house and it was double booked. :( When I reached out to the owner, she stated that there was a "glitch" and VRBO was supposed to reach out to me. Which they didn't. My wonder was, why she didn't reach out to me. So, I paid for a place that was unavailable. The owner refused to talk to me on the phone to help me problem solve the fact that I was left without a place in a very busy/booked town -- her hometown. Customer service by owner and VRBO was disappointing.

This apartment has a great location to walk to everything in downtown Marquette, one block off of 3rd street. My wife and I walked to breakfast (Java Bay & Donckers) in the mornings. We also walked to Blackrocks & The Ore Dock Breweries at night. We had a great week in Marquette.

Carrie was willing to work with us when we had to cancel our visit. I appreciate her quick responses to my emails and her genuine understanding of my situation.

Very nice, clean apartment. Bed was very comfortable & shower had good water pressure. Only wish is there were a few more kitchen supplies to making meals a bit easier.

Check-in process: Terrible. The owner didn’t reply to our messages before our stay that we sent a month prior. No communications whatsoever. Then, she didn’t give us check-instructions. We were sitting outside this dump with no one there and no way to get in. She said she sent us instructions 12 minutes later but it didn’t come through for another 50 minutes. How long would you sit around and wait for a host that hasn’t communicated with you since day one? We had no choice but book another place and found a way nicer place for less money. She wouldn’t refund our money, not even the “cleaning fee”. We had to call our credit card company to get refunded which they did without issue after we explained what happened. Communication with property manage: Terrible Cleanliness of property: From the outside, there was a noticeable smell.

The living area was clean. Liked the updated kitchen. Was able to walk to town snd beach.

Lots of space… first floor… walking distance to every cool spot in Marquette… best of all… washer and dryer in the cellar! We stayed nearby last year in a smaller VRBO and had to walk to and hang out at King Koin to do laundry which was a pain. Will be booking again next year if available.

Great location for us

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Very clean and quiet. The only thing I felt that could be improved would be the kitchen. It was short on supplies. However, I felt that overall it was very good.

We were sadly disappointed in our stay. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. It’s hard to enjoy the day after a terrible night’s sleep. The futon was hard which made it difficult to relax and watch television. They are unable to accommodate a pack 'n play which makes it very unfriendly to anyone who has children. It is listed as spacious but it is very small. The closet wouldn't open to allow us to put away our suitcases. They had to just be on the floor in the small bedroom. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. It is within walking distance to downtown. I would recommend finding something in the same area that is way more comfortable.

Great location foe ease between both campus & restaurants or shopping downtown. This will be the first property we look for on our next visit to Marquette, no doubt about it!

We enjoyed our visit with our daughter who is a student at NMU. it was nice to be able to make a home cooked meal! It was convenient to downtown and the campus. I would definitely stay here again.

Great & reasonable place to stay! It’s local to everything, many restarurants, breweries and shops within walking distance. We didn’t spend much time in the apartment as we were out and about but it served us for what we needed; a close, quiet & comfortable place to stay! Would definitely stay again!

Exactly what we needed in the location we needed it. Carrie was responsive and we had everything we needed.

Great location-easily walk to any restaurant or bar or shop downtown. Owner provided a list of suggestions which I appreciated (and used to find an ice cream place!). Place had a roku tv and wifi, enough towels and sheets, kitchen equipment. It was very quiet. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive. Would definitely book again!
