We come to the desert twice a year and always rent a different house for 5 or 6 weeks. This house is one of the best. The interior has been renovated and is very beautiful-better than the pictures show. The house is bright. The views are magnificent. The backyard is large. The pool and hot tub are great. Overall the house has great style. We made some friends in the neighborhood who invited us over for dinner and will visit us in Chicago. Louisa and her team were very responsive to our needs. Rent this house. You will love it.

Exceeded all expectations

What a wonderful stay. With everything going on we were so looking forward to this getaway and it did not disappoint. Louisa, the property manager was wonderful and our stay was perfect in every way. We will be back!

Renting this property was easy as Sunday Morning. No contact check in and check out. The communication with the property manager was done via email. All information was clear and concise. Now about the property. I mean it has that WOW factor. Everything you would want from a Palm Springs get away. The mid century mod house had never ending views to the backyard. The pool was the focal point to our stay. Large enough for a big gathering. We BBqd and listened to the surround sound options. This home has been completely upgraded with furnishings that compliment the homes history but offer modern touches. The tech in this house is also first rate. You dint need to leave the entire time you are there. Great staycation option.

Our three-generation party of five spent Thanksgiving week at the Lucy-Desi house and were enormously pleased. When we had a question or request, property manager Louisa Davis was lightning quick to respond and very helpful. I rated her a "5" only because there was no "6" or better. Upon arrival, the home was spic and span, the kitchen was adequately equipped, and when Louisa found we were doing TG dinner there she offered to bring over a turkey roasting pan - service above and beyond. I gave the check-in process only a "4" because I never could get the gate across the driveway to operate with the keypad - but the remote control unit worked fine, and the instructions left for renters inside the house need updating to reflect what appear to be new improvements such as an electronic lock on front door so you no longer need keys. But that's no big thing. What is big is that the house is comfortable, well equipped, has some charm and has a terrific manager.

We really enjoyed the house and it suited all our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot for us. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood and well appointed clean home. So glad the owner is sharing his slice of heaven with guests.

We came from PA to meet up with family who live in CA and 6 adults stayed at the Lucy & Desi Hideaway! It was everything we expected and more. We only left once to go out to dinner... I mean really look at the pictures, why would you want to leave! Quiet and beautiful area yet close to restaurants and stores . Backyard oasis for daytime and nighttime. Enjoyed the little putting range in the front yard. Kitchen stocked to prepare gourmet meals if you like. each couple had their own private bedroom with en-suite bathroom. My only suggestion/hope is the owner would repair the backyard mister on the property...it would help with bugs and of course the high heat. Other than that, we can’t wait to to return someday...sooner rather than later!
