we love the property and have been there multiple times in different condos.

When we first go there we walked in and the maintenance man was there cause there was a leak that we were not told about. He said he fixed it and left. Also said he was there to fix the door that wouldn't lock.We went outside to check out the porch and found cigarette butts and the grill not being clean and the beach cart was missing. We left for dinner that night and came back and my 4 year old daughter walked by the AC/water heater closet and slipped in more water that had leaked and hit her head on the floor. Also found that the living room sliding door in fact would not stay locked. Contacted the owner and the maintenance man came back to shop vac the water out of the water heater. Didn't have any more water leaks but my daughter did have a rough couple days not feeling well. We did have a new beach card brought over and the cleaning people came back and cleaned but the boogie board some were broken. Over all after the first couple days things were fine and I liked the room. It was just rough worrying about my daughter not feeling well after falling and hitting her head from the water.

We had an awesome week at our Coastal Vibe Condo. It was the perfect about of space for 8 people (4 kids). The kids loved the bunk bed and the beds were very comfy. We loved the open space and the huge patio outside. The pool choices and lazy river were amazing. It was nice to have options when taking the kids outside to swim. The palm trees provided so much privacy. We would stay again for sure! It was in tue perfect lactation with easy access to so many places!

Great location in the Sandpiper L04 condo. We had a small problem with the grill on our first night. The response was immediate and the grill was replaced the next morning. That's customer service at it's best. The condo was perfect for our family and we enjoyed a great week of beach and pool time. I would rent this unit again without hesitation.

When we arrived the unit was filthy. We had a cockroach outside the slider. We were loaded with fruit flies which continued our whole stay. We were given bleach and dawn to pour down the sinks but it didn’t help. The floors needed a good moping and washing, which someone came over and did. The mattress cover on the pull out sofa was disgusting. We were given a new one. Pots and pans could be replaced. Aside all this we had a great stay. Unit could use a real good cleaning and painting.

This was our second time staying at Destin West but our first in this condo, and we won't be back. The good: Getting to the condo was easy as it's right off the elevator on the 2nd floor. It was fully stocked, so we didn't have to buy much. The lazy river was just steps away from the condo, which is perfect when you have small kids. It would be great if the beach wasn't quite so far away, but the skybridge makes it so you don't have to cross a busy street to get there. The bad: When we first arrived, there were many fruit flies in the kitchen. Upon further inspection there was some food in the sink that wasn't cleaned after the last guests, which was bringing the fruit flies in. It's great that this condo has 2 bathrooms, but both toilets had urine on them that hadn't been cleaned. One of the showers had a used soap bar in it, so I'm assuming the shower wasn't cleaned either. I contacted Coastal Vibe Vacations, & they said they could send someone out to take care of both situations, but we were on vacation with children who nap, so we didn't want to have to worry about when someone would need to get in the condo. Before heading to the beach, we checked out the beach cart provided. One of the main things we needed was an umbrella since beach service was not provided. The base of the umbrella was completely rusted making it unusable, so we did have to go buy our own. Also, on the patio there was a section of mold that seemed to have grown on something that had not been cleaned up. In the middle of the night, one of the toilets was flushed & it made a terrible noise waking my whole family up. I flushed the toilet again in the morning, so I could send a video of the noise to Coastal Vibe. They did send someone out to fix the issue, & it didn't happen again. A few days later, the smoke detector in one of the bedrooms started beeping because a battery needed replaced, so we had to take that down as there weren't any extra batteries in the unit. The WiFi stopped working about halfway through our trip. Coastal Vibe had us try something that didn't work, so they offered to send someone out. We declined the offer. However, on our last full day there, they went ahead & sent someone out anyway to fix it. She was very nice, but we know they did this because they were to have new guests arriving the next day. Coastal Vibe Vacations was very response & helpful, but it was ridiculous that we had this many problems on our one week stay.

This is the second time at the resort and the second time on the first floor 3 BR and wouldn't stay any other way.

Great place to stay. Easy access to the on-site amenities. Even greater access to the beach and several restaurants within walking distance.

This place is perfect family friendly resort. This condo especially convenient as it was located on first level and had quick, easy access to pools, no elevators, just walk out gate and you are there! So helpful with little ones. If the beach is more your thing, its a nice, longer than expected walk over the skybridge-- but not terrible. Unfortunately, we had double red flags for swimming at the beach all week so pools were a life saver!! The condo and coastal vibe was awesome! Very easy check in and check out. The condo was better than expected in pictures! We are already looking to book here again.

We had a great vacation at Destin West. The pool and lazy river were exactly what we needed for some great R&R. The condo was a perfect location. The room setup was very comfortable for our group of 7 adults. We would recommend this location for everyone!

Overall no complaints

Condo itself was great, only downside was the resort didn’t have their heated pool going which was kind of disappointing as the evenings were cooler and that was a big deciding factor of booking in late fall for our kids to be able to swim whenever. Otherwise the amenities were good, beds were comfortable, and location is close to everything, the bridge walk access to the beach was awesome especially with kiddos in tow! Only improvement that could’ve been made was access to the garage to store the beach cart as that was a bit of a hassle to take up and down the stairs, but the fact that it was provided was one less thing we had to worry about packing to bring with us!

We had a wonderful time. Everything we needed was available. Can’t wait to go back!

We arrived to a clean unit which was just as described. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful vacation. The beach cart was a great addition to haul all our kid beach stuff. We love being able to walk out the unit directly into the lazy river pool.

We have rented condos from David Jenn of Coastal Vibe Vacation for years and we are never ever disappointed. With growing girls, we had to go with a larger condo this year and this one fit the bill perfectly. We love being on the lower level of Destin West and being able to let our 4 girls come and go to the pool and lazy river. The outdoor grill worked perfect and the space was beautiful. Thanks David. We will do it again soon!

We love this room. Been coming to Destin West for 10 years and this room is my favorite. Convenient, and so cozy! Perfect for my family of 6. Will not stay anywhere else.

We love this place. Super close to the pool and beautiful lazy river. Everything was just perfect.

Our family of 4 (kids 5 & &) very much enjoyed this perfectly located condo. Not only was it a great location within the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach area which was minutes away from all major attractions, some even within walking distance. It was also co-located to the Pool & Lazy River of which my kids were in everyday! The condo was clean & the amenities where perfect! I highly recommend this property for you and your family.

This condo was VERY nice! We were traveling with my daughter's softball team for a World tournament. The patio area was so spacious and only steps away from the Lazy River! The condo had everything that you need to cook. It even had a cart with beach chairs and toys for building sand castles (which my son loved)!!! If we end up in Destin again for any reason, this will be the condo that we will be looking to book! Thank you so much for an awesome place to stay! :)

Loved the place!! The lazy river a big plus!! Having a private grill right out the door was great also, very convenient. Would highly recommend this condo unit!

6 of us stayed for a week. David was readily available to help with check in, which eased our anxiety from booking on-line. Condo provided everything we needed + some extras like BBQ pit, Beach cart with chairs & toys, Netflix for the rainy days & they dropped off a rainy day bag with coloring book, colored pensils, candy, popcorn & a pass for Redbox during (what was supposed to be) a tropical storm. Easy access to lazy river, hot tubs, pools & short walking distance to both bay & gulf. We’d stay there again!

Had a great time. The only improvement would be use if the garage. For the facility as a whole, the ability to access the bridge from the condo buildings would make things easier. Going down the stairs only to go back up the stairs to the bridge is somewhat of a pain.
