The condo was clean and in a great location. The check in process was easy but different than what I am used to with VBRO. As for the description of the property, it was mostly accurate, except for the beds. The bed additional bed besides the queen beds in the rooms was an air mattress. Also, there were dishes on the table (for decoration) and comforters on the beds (also for decoration) which were NOT to be used by guests. IMO, do away with the untouchable decoration, and tell guests to bring their own blankets. The decorative plates and comforters needed to be removed before we could use the table and beds which created additional work for me and I was on vacation. There was also an issue with a concert flag we hung in the window. Apparently, another resident took a picture of the flag and contacted the owner which prompted the owner to contact me 1 week after our stay. The flag was for a band and wasn't religious, political or profane. I was also contacted by the owner the first night of our stay about a piece of mail they were expecting. Overall, the condo was nice and in a great area, close to the beach.

Let me start by saying the hospitality was amazing. The host is super friendly and accommodating. Her property manager was punctual and accommodating as well when the keyless entry failed on us. I tried not to complain, but I did need to advise there were mouse droppings in the dresser drawers, as they just need to know, in order to get ahead of that potential problem. The condo was not clean when we arrived. I had to wipe down a couple walls that had something on them. It all came off with a paper towel and some soap and water. Nothing too serious, but it looked gross. The toilet had feces stuck to the toilet seat and mold rings in the toilet. The floors had a couple pebbles and beach sand and random ripped pieces of paper that needed to be vacuumed up. So, I had to clean the place before we could settle in. We were there for a week and didn't feel comfortable sitting at the dining table because there were decorative place settings set up, with a note that specifically says not to use those dishes on the table and to use the ones in the cabinet. That's fine, but, why have them there to begin with? There was nowhere to put them to get them out of the way, so we just left them there and used to provided TV trays in the closet. There was another note stating we couldn't use the duvet or pillows on the beds either, so, yet another discomfort. Thankfully we brought our own pillows and blankets. The 2 minute walk to the beach was worth it all though! It is centrally located!!

Over our stay was decent. It was a rough start though with not being able to get ahold of our host for the entry code. Our drive (myself and two teenage daughters) was 10 hours, so when we arrived at our condo, we were ready to unwind. I followed the host’s instructions. Text the provided number when we were getting close and we were supposed to receive an entry code. I got no response from the provided number. I called, no response. At this point we are getting pretty upset. Check in is at 4 and it’s now 5:30. I called VRBO customer service and they were excellent. The rep tried the host and after no response she began the process of finding us a new place. In the meantime we were going to go find a place to eat and a little after 6 the host called us back. She was apologetic and gave us the condo code. Even though I wanted to find a new place to stay, the easiest thing was to keep our reservation. The rest of the trip went well and we had a nice time. The condo was as advertised and we had no other issues.

We enjoyed our stay! We were a block from the boardwalk and surrounded by places to eat and enjoy. Sally was very attentive and we had a great trip.

The property was very clean, convenient for our stay, close to the beach and other attractions. The condo is a bit dated, but it was fine for our stay.

Sally was easy to communicate with and responded very quickly! I had a few concerns/questions at first and she was very easy to work with. I even booked last minute and she made the accommodations! The unit has what you need.

So close to beaches and freeway, had come to visit daughter at ODU Good communication with host via VRBO. No internet on arrival but host came next morning to sort out. No further problems. A very relaxing space, walking distance to beach.

What a lovely property! So clean and close to the beach- no complaints whatsoever!
