Great house! Great pool! Great time!

You can tell this is a home that was loved through the years. Lots of room to spread out or gather, everything you need but clothes & food plus features you will enjoy that you cannot find easily, e.g. private pool, screened porch, lots of cooking items. We would definitely rent again!

I met my mom and siblings in Chattanooga for a long weekend and the house was a great place to hang out. We had a great time playing in the pool. It's very quiet but close to anything you need.

Our stay was fantastic and met the needs of our grandchildren ages 4 to 16, our two daughters and husband and I. The layout of the house allowed us room to spreadout and also spend wonderful time together. The pool was lovely and the boys loved fishing in the creek where they caught several kinds of fish and saw deer three different times. It was a great time.

If your looking for a place to stay with your family no need to look any further. We had plenty of space to hang as a family and plenty of space to be on our own. The home is equipped with everything we needed plus more. The outdoor space was just as lovely. Beautiful view, sitting area and a pool. The pool was perfect. The location is minutes away from the Tennessee Riverpark. The owners were very gracious, made sure everything was good when we checked in and checked out. Our family will definitely be staying here again.

This property is true to its pictures and description — we loved this house! Plenty of room for people to spread out, visit, eat and play games. Beds were VERY comfortable. Having 2 ovens and refrigerators was great since we were feeding (but not housing) 15 people. Shirley isn’t kidding when she says the kitchen is stocked with pretty much anything you would need. We used the crockpot for cider and a very nice roasting pan for the ham, and there was even an electric knife for carving it. There was a great assortment of baking dishes for our casseroles. Also plenty of eating and serving utensils. The enormous yard was perfect for after dinner strolls and the kids in our group loved climbing the gigantic magnolia. The house’s proximity to the North Chickamauga Creek Greenway is another bonus. We had a couple of delightful walks there. The entrance is a very short walk from the house, but Hamill Rd is busy with no shoulder, so we drove. Shirley was a very responsive and gracious host, quick to answer my texts and questions. Here are the few negatives we found: 1) the awning over the back door is probably very welcome during the hot summer, but in the winter it blocks your view of the woods and sunset. 2) It would be nice to have a game table in the multipurpose room. We brought a card table for working puzzles and placed it there, using the kitchen table for games. 3) The only reason I gave 4 stars for location was traffic noise. As mentioned above, Hamill Rd sees a lot of traffic, and Hwy 153 is also very close. The house is well back from the road, and the noise wasn’t disruptive. Perhaps it is quieter in the warm months when the trees are leafed out. 4) The ovens appear to be original to the house (which was pleasantly nostalgic for several of us) but they performed just fine. NONE of these issues were dealbreakers for us, and we would definitely stay here again.

This property is close to my daughter that lives in Soddy Daisy. The perfect place for us to gather. Close to so many amenities. Perfect for us older folks (70s) to visit with the younger grandkids

Large home with great outdoor space and pool. Two refrigerators help with food when cooking for large numbers and leftovers. Very close to downtown Chattanooga for sites.

We had a group with 4 adults and 4 children age 5-12. The house is huge and plenty of room to spread out or to find a private place to if you need a break. The pool is fully fenced from the rest of the yard- so, safe for little ones. Well-stocked, in every area. They even provide pool towels! Owner is very gracious and always available.

We booked this house for our 8th annual family getaway vacation with friends and it was perfect! The house was big enough to accommodate 9 people, including 5 kids! The kids were never bored and enjoyed the pool! We loved everything about this house. And the home owner was fabulous as well. Great communication. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Convenient and great for family.

We had a great experience staying here. The house was clean and comfortable. It accommodated all eight of just fine. The location is close to downtown but in a quiet neighborhood. Also the owner was always responsive if we had questions. The pool was great for the kids. We would definitely be back if we visit again!

Property was excellent and the most well-stocked of any we have stayed in. My only recommendation would be to upgrate the second and third bedroom beds to larger beds. This was a great stay for our family and we would do it again in a minute. The communication was excellent and we loved our stay.

The home was large with plenty of bathrooms for our family. It was a wonderful location in Chattanooga. Shirley was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed! Towels for the pool, lots of pots and pans and spices. It made a great landing spot for the Ironman for us!

Overall the family loved staying at this property. The pool was fantastic and all the amenities you could need were provided for you. My only minor issue was the front door was very hard to lock from the inside. Most times I never was sure if it was locked or not when we went to bed.

This is an excellent property, with an even better home on it and a wonderful pool. It is stocked with everything you would need (more than most rentals). RENT THIS PLACE!

We had a wonderful time just relaxing! Very spacious home and a GREAT backyard setup! All the kids had a good time! Along with the adults. Shirley was GREAT! We really had planned on doing some outings but we wound up hardly leaving the house!!

This house and location were perfect for our family! The owner is great to work with and the house was squeaky clean!

We rented this property for the pool mainly and it delivered! Plenty of room if you have a large group (we only had 4 total so each kid got a bedroom which they loved). The backyard was super private, the pool was spotless, the kitchen was set up with tons of pantry items (including 2 fridges) and everything worked perfectly. One kid said "I wish this was our house!" and the wife asked "Just 2 more days?". Thanks Shirley, we had an awesome time!

The home was great. The location made for convenient access to Hixson mall and the city of Chattanooga. The pool was great. There was more than enough comfortable seating around the pool and patio. The enclosed porch, with a bath, was great while using the pool. My family had a wonderful time.

The house was perfect for our gathering of 6 adults and 2 children. The multi-purpose room was huge and a great area for the kids to play and leave their toys and games. The various sitting areas provided places for private conversation, video gaming or resting. The pool was closed during our stay but the grounds are extensive and well-cared for. We might come back in the summer to enjoy the huge pool, BBQ and multiple outside sitting areas. We cooked our Thanksgiving meal in the well-stocked kitchen and overall had a lovely family vacation. Thank you!
