It was good except second payment didn’t go through because credit card on file was not in system so I had to track down a person in the Red Cliff office and give them second payment on order to pay on time!!

This home was everything we wanted. Near enough to Durango, yet far enough away to have spectacular views and hear the wind blow thru the pines. Every window in this lovely home gave you a view. Clean, comfortable, all the conveniences of home and wonderfully furnished.

My family stayed at this home during our annual summer off-roading trip to the Alpine Loop. This house stunning! It sits above a lake and is tucked into the woods. Even though the lake was not completely full (as the dam undergoes repairs), it was still amazing! The views from the deck were just perfect. The house is in a neighborhood that has dirt roads, but the driveway to the house is paved. Even though we did get one of our trucks with a trailer up the driveway, it really is not designed for a truck towing a trailer. This was not an issue as it was actually easier to find a place to park the trailers in Silverton, close to where we were spending our days. This was by far the nicest, most beautiful house we have ever stayed at. Simply amazing!

The home is beautiful. The view is incredible. So comfortable and relaxing. Wish we had longer just to relax and enjoy the view during the day and the stars at night.

The view is breathtaking, and the home is warm and cozy. I would not change a single thing about this place. The appliances are dated but I think they add character. Don’t change them. Beautiful and peaceful remote mountain home. Easy 30 min drive into historic Durando. The home was well appointed with spectacular views; even though the lake was very low. So don’t be deterred by that. Loved the personal note and family photos in the home. We actually cancelled a few things just to relax in the home. We didn’t want to leave! If you stay here, make sure you take the drive to Ouray. Stunning drive up the million dollar highway.

Our family travels out west every summer and we pick new locations to explore and stay in VRBOs. This was easily one of the best places we have stayed! Just 20 miles north of Durango, we were close enough to grocery stores etc., but far enough to be a world away. Property was gorgeous, just like advertised. No complaints at all. Clean and roomy with everything we needed for a great stay. The house was great, but the deck was the focal point. Incredible views and cool, quiet breeze coming up off the lake. We wanted to stay longer. Close to some great hikes too! We had a fantastic time.

This is a wonderful property and the views are breathtaking. A fantastic place to stay any time of the year!

The home was spacious, very well kept and secluded....exactly what we were looking for during this time. We spent the week hiking, rock climbing and rafting. There are excellent trails and climbing locations within 15 minutes of the home. Rafting at Mild to Wild was excellent and only 25 minutes away. The property managers were excellent and responsive.
