Outside environment

One villa had a musty smell and cockroaches were crawling about. The cottage bathrooms were substandard

The ocean was amazing.

There was no water/ alternate water supplied at the accommodation for the duration of our stay. This resulted in us making many trips to the Margate Spar for our own. There wasn't any bin cleanup, which then allowed the monkeys to run crazy with the contents of the bin, which, unfortunately, was at the entrance to our accommodation (see pic). There were insufficient drinking glasses. No knife sharpener or chopping board, which extended our food preparation time.

Additional power disruptions other than loadshedding, water shortages and lack of available golf carts

The peaceful environment and the friendly staff

The Villas bathroom ceiling was black with mould. The sliding windows were stiff from lack of maintenance

The villa's are very clean and has all the facilities we needed in the kitchen. Loved the pool area , the view is amazing, the pictures don't do justice to the place, the villa's are very beautiful, really exceeded my expectations

When there's loadsheding there are no emergency lights or candle's provided, we had to use cellphone torches because of that

Location was good. Beautiful place.

Noisy location golf course ground staff and highway noise. Contractors working next door

Quality of the unit poor - mildew, broken stuff, door handle pulls off etc. As a previous homeowner very disappointing
