amazing service and food

the room was very comfortable, but could be more charming

It's a hotel part of the Hyatt group. They have a good restaurant and swimming pool. We very much liked the private excursions. We did a 3 hour mountain bike tour and a half day walk. Both a very recommended.

The location: it's next to a very busy road. We tried a walk but too dangerous. Once you are in the hotel, you can't go anywhere. It did not bother us, as we did excusions during the day, but if you like to venture out, this is not a good option.

Location is superb, resort view is outstanding. There is no proper beach but you can still walk while it's low tide time. Staff is super helpful. Definitely recommend for couples and families if there want to spend time in resort only. Complementary photoshoot is pretty good too. Food is great but very little options. There is free shuttle to candidasa. Its so photogenic resort. Highly recommend for couple if you spend some quality time at resort.

Food options are very little specially if you are Indian. I suggest more activities around the resort like archery, kite flying, open movies for kids etc. . As there is not much to do outside the resort. Wifi connection is very bad, you just can't do anything. And paid resort activities are bit expensive I guess.

The staff. When we first arrived we were shown to our room. The staff entered the room and explained the room ammenities. Once he’s done, he stood still and stayed in the room and did not direclty leave the room. He just stood there waiting (I dont know what for, I guess tip? But we didn’t have any cash with us at that time so we planned to give it to him later that day). The silence was very akward. His presence in our room felt very invasive. Since we did not give him anything, he left and slammed the door. You should not wait in a guest’s toom WAITING in silence demanding for a tip. We always tip other hotel staffs but not here, because they of how they asked for it. The property is old and outdated.

Great position right on the sea, incredibly kind staff, very good food. Excellent spa on the sea.

Nothing particularly. The rooms are not so big and the bathroom also quite small but each room has a beautiful balcony on the garden the swimming pool and you will spend most of the time there or outside anyway. There is yoga only once a week on site so if you go for yoga everyday it may not be the place for you

This is heaven. The best grounds, pool, staff, location. Restaurant is great. Everyone (and I mean everyone from security guard to housemaid to Manager ) made us feel so welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Don’t miss the spa… beautiful treatments. I’d had a fall and hurt my ankle before arriving here and anything I needed (from medication to local healer to ice to concerned inquiries) was organised with great attentiveness. And did I say this place is divinely beautiful - not too big, not pretentious but leaves you feeling like a million dollars. We’ll be back asap.

Loved the complimentary afternoon tea by the sea - nice for guests to gather. The cakes could be a little more special though…. That’s the only thing!

Very pretty resort with beautiful buildings and grounds. Loved the big balconies that every room has. The whole resort is very peaceful and you can hear the relaxing sound of the sea waves. Staff were genuinely super friendly and nice. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Close to Padang Bai port so it’s great if you’re getting an early boat to another island.

The rooms were slightly dated but otherwise had a great stay.

Rooms a bit small, would be nice if there were some traditional bali cushions and cloth on outdoor daybed.

The views of ocean, walking the beach, my friend had ocean front massage and facial which she loved. Our dinner was phenomenal we both had mahi mahi but different ways. I had it Balinese curry and probably my favorite meal in Bali. Dessert was a perfect ending to dinner. Breakfast was really good too.

I didn't experience this but my friend staying in room said bed was a little hard and uncomfortable.

It is divine. Quiet, picturesque, hospitable. The staff are are really friendly and helpful. The pool is great, felt like a mineral pool. You can hear the beach waves when walking around the hotel. The room is comfortable and clean. Candi Dasa town is 7 mins away, the hotel offer a free shuttle bus at two times of the day, if you miss that, the hotel offer a driver for additional IDR 90k. Overall absolutely loved my stay here, highly recommend.

It’s 7 mins out of town, but that provides a lovely quiet position overlooking the ocean. A real escape from any hustle and bustle.

some facilities in the hotel room are quite old, like the bathroom.

Wonderfull staff. Always offering if they can assist at any time of day or night so as to make our stay incredibly pleasant.

The Alila Manggis owners should spend money to keep the buildings in top condition in line with the exemplary effort the staff make for a wonderful break from every day life while on holidays

Very stylish and timeless design which fits in well with the surroundings. Beautiful pool and very clean. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you would need. The food is amazing. Lots of traditional Balinese dishes to try and the breakfast is really excellent. Lovely peaceful location and the perfect place to unwind and escape the crowds! Lots of great activities to choose from and complimentary activities like some excellent yoga classes and taichi. If you want to get away from everything I would highly recommend. The staff are very warm and welcoming.

I think maybe some of the activities are a little expensive including the airport transfer.
