夜遅くのチェックイン際にあまりにもひどいドイツ語のロシア人で慌ただしくチェックイン手続きをさせられ、全く宿泊客にレスペクトがない対応にがっかりした。

Grundsätzlich ist es eine solide in die Jahre gekommene Unterkunft. Der Aufschnitt auf dem Frühstücksbuffett sah schon ziemlich trocken aus. Auswahl ist Standard, aber auf Wunsch wird auch frisch ein Spiegelei gemacht. Das Doppelbett hat eine durchgehende Matratze, so dass jede Bewegung des Partners zu spüren ist. Die Umgebung ist halt nicht die Beste, was aber in vielen Städten in Bahnhofsnähe so ist. Die Fenster isolieren gut, aber die Klimaanlage ist sehr laut. Das nahegelegene Parkhaus ist unappetitlich dreckig und hat eine sehr enge Zufahrtrampe, ist aber günstig. Alles in allem war es okay.

Everything! Location, staff, and the MATTRESS! It was comfortable beyond belief. Also liked minibar. Have not seen one in a small hotel in a long time. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Right across the plaza from the train station, but no noise at all. Breakfast, which was extra, offered a nice variety of hot and cold food and drink.

Location is excellent for train travelers; only a 10' walk or so to "downtown" areas near the Dom and Guttenberg Museum (which is fantastic). Staff very friendly, if perhaps a bit overworked. Bed was comfortable and street noise level in our room was acceptably low. We did not take the breakfast service so cannot comment on such.

There was some sort of odor coming from the (interior) bathroom. It did not appear to have top class ventilation so we kept the door closed essentially all the time. This is often an issue in European hotels so I did not feel this hotel was especially negligent. To a large extent, you get what you pay for and in this case a pretty small room and very tight bathroom.

The rooms are newly renovated. Nice design and very functional. They are not the largest rooms, but absolutely OK for a short stay. Particularly notable this summer: the room is air-conditioned ! Despite being located right at a busy translation the rooms are very quiet. The staff at reception and at breakfast were very friendly and professional.

Aside from being located at the station: nothing.

I stayed here overnight to catch an early flight out of Frankfurt without having to stay by the Frankfurt train station. It was an excellent location for my needs, and far more pleasant than Frankfurt would have been. The staff and room were also excellent for the price.

The bathroom only offers a combined shower gel and shampoo product (along with hand soap, obviously). I had my own shampoo so this wasn’t a problem, but it was surprising to find in an otherwise very nice room.

A very warm welcome - we were offered water and coffee, which made all the difference. We decided late to opt for the breakfast buffet, which was excellent and good value. Plenty of reasons to return!

when I arrived very early I was greeted and given the opportunity to sit and work in the lobby until our room was available. by 10 AM our room was available and I was able to access it. The manager was very helpful throughout my visit and I appreciate his hard work.

Location excellent for commuting as right by the Main Train station in Mainz and also all connections for trams & bus to get you around the area.

Pillows always too soft wherever I go

wonderful location right across from the Hbf station. Wonderful breakfast, stored our luggage for us too.

While its hard to think of anything, we did have to ask for a 2nd towel.

Clean rooms, good shower pressure, rooms looks new and was a very comfortable stay! Right across the HBF and an easy walk to the city. Overall, it’s a great stay!
