Lovely hotel in the perfect location. The room I was in had an issue with the air con and the hotel was fully booked that night but the next night they transferred us to a suite which was great. The staff are really friendly & helpful. I booked a room with a balcony & it was worth it.

hotel central, face au lac. Grande salle de petit déjeuner avec vue lac. Roof top. Si vous êtes face au lac, vous êtes aussi sur la route qui le longe, très bruyante le jour, heureusement le calme revient pour la nuit.
Notre "chambre double vue sur le lac" était très petite, très haute de plafond : un cube. Le bureau coincé au pied du lit faisait que l'on se cognait le genou à chaque passage..... Ce type de chambre n'a clairement pas été remise au goût du jour, ce qui n'est pas montré sur les photos. C'est vieillot et mal agencé. La salle de bains est aussi à l'ancienne....même pas de mitigeur douche ou lavabo !

Das Hotel liegt an bester Lage am See. Das Zimmer war gross und gut ausgestattet, wenn auch nicht supermodern, so doch alles Vorhanden, inkl. Kaffeemaschine. Riesiges Badezimmer und schöner Frühstücksraum mit Sicht auf den See.

Amazing room with a view to the Lake. Very well located and close to all places to visit in Lugano. Highly recommended. Wonderful breakfast with a nice selection of local cheese.

We were at 4th floor with a balcony with a fantastic view over the lake

We were pleasantly surprised to find everything on our doorstep, the lake and ferries, restaurants, shops and the amazing view from our room. It was quiet and air conditioned and we enjoyed sipping prosecco on the roof top whilst enjoying the view and summer evening.

The location is fantastic, right in downtown Lugano. Most if not all rooms have a great view of Lake Lugano... It was absolutely beautiful. Free breakfast included.
Lugano in general is a bit expensive. A taxi to go like a mile from the train station was 30 francs. That's not really the hotels fault, but something to note.

Renovation at next door house. Terrible noise.
Got a parking ticket at next door parking house because nobody told us that you are not allowed to park at first floor. Hotell took also a parking fee from us so total parking per one night 90 euros :( Not so good breakfast. Chek out time 10.30.

The location is unbeatable, right in front of Lake Lugano and next to a bus stop and near the funicular to
connect you pretty much everywhere without the need for a car! The staff was friendly and super informative. Will definitely return!
The tub was so concave in our room (67-68) you could barely stand for a shower. It should have been advertised as bath only. Also, though on a third floor, you could hear the traffic pretty consistently with the windows/balcony open.

Friendly and attentive staff, great sized room, very good breakfast and of course the location! Within 200m? Of the Fanicular (which if we had known could have saved us 25cf.
Being very picky, the floor heights differed between some rooms, making it tricky for the short memoried!
Also 2 of the 3 pillows were concrete... so my wife slept well :)

Location was fantastic, possibly the best spot in town. I came by train and it is a very short and simple walk from the cable car. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of food options close by.

Location is perfect for lake views and two minutes walk into town, but there is quite a busy road in between lake and hotel. Quiet room but quite noisy on the small balcony.
Nothing, but its essental to use the free funicular back to the rail station.
