Hotel was nice with the basics. You can walk/hike to the very nearby Walhalla Monument and Donau (Danube) River through nice woods and fields. Lots of free parking by the hotel.

Hard to find using Maps/GPS. Main entrance is on a little one-lane street (doesn't have a name?) between the hotel and a large common-use parking lot.

Wonderful breakfast, super friendly staff, nice patio, great location to explore area and do sightseeing. Room was clean and comfortable.

Oddly the bathroom was open concept and the shower cabin was glass and see-through which could be off-putting or tricky for folks who need more privacy.

The breakfast was excellent. The newer room facing the courtyard was very good. They changed our roomand did not act put out. Plus, no extra charge.

Noise. Our initial room was facing Maxstrasse and was hot, we opened the window for ventilation and the road was noisy and distracting. We asked for another room. Always ask for a room facing the front/courtyard - as in the picture.

At the arrival the reception informed me that my reseved room with Booking.com is not available. The reason invoked by receptionist was that is a mistake of Booking.com. The receptionist was helpful and try to find an accomodation at the same standards in a nearby hotel at which they finaly obtain the same rate for us

They did not give us accomodation as booked and invoked a mistake of Booking.com After a long road we exeprienced a terrible situation at the Reception, where they try to find us a solution to host as we booked. We spent another half a hour on road to the new hotel where they organized our accomodation.

The room was refurbished since 2019 when we have been there last time, same large, clean, quiet, pet friendly as always, and the minibar was full. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. The location is perfect, just walking distance from the Danube banks and short driving distance from Walhalla. Breakfast was always great and you can eat outside, on the terrace, if you have the dog with you.

The room didn't have air conditioning. It may be a problem when is very hot outside. However, the room seems to be very well insulated and we didn't feel to bad, just very little uncomfortable. The addition of the air-con would make everything just perfect.

Very comfortable. Roomy and relaxed feel. Good breakfast.

There was very hot in the room, so we tried to sleep with the window open, but that helped only a little bit. In addition, the street is rather quiet, but a car or truck still passes by like once every hour over the night, and that is so loud with the window open that I woke up every time. I understand that the hotel has air conditioned rooms as well - might be needed in summer

A very nice hotel in a very nice location, friendly staff, a very clean room, free (and functioning!) wifi, free and plentiful onsite parking, a decent breakfast. Overall a very appreciated stay.

We were four guests (a family of two adults and two small children) and we stayed in what the hotel calls a "family room" (advertised as for a maximum of four adults), which comprised a very comfortable double bed and a convertible double sofa which, frankly, is not designed for sleeping - an uneven bed surface, creaking noises, a very hard (almost non-existent) mattress. Well, long story short, I did not sleep much. So I guess next time it will be a better idea to book two double rooms with regular beds rather than this monstrosity of a sofa. An unfortunate inconvenience on the face of an otherwise very enjoyable hotel experience.

Last year we stayed here as well and then the restaurant give us better options for dinner. Maybe due to Corona the sized down there menu but it is not up to standards anymore. Also unfortunately even though is asked 2 days before arriving for a baby crib, the crib only was brought to the room at 8:30pm after asking 3 times when we arrived. I understand it can be busy but better preparation can help these things.

After all still an excellent place to stay!

We had an early check-in request and this was no problem, also due to circumstances, we had to move our stay to one day earlier what they gladly did. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent.

We had a family room and the mattress of the fold-out couch was so hard to sleep on.
