very friendly an helpful. Nice environment

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful receptionist. Instantly felt like home and the room was wonderful. I also liked the name of the hotel - it was the main reason we booked in the first place, even though we still don't have a clue what it means! :-)

Friendly staff

Our shower ran well, but the water did really slowly run away, which means you can shower for 2 minutes and then have to wait at least 2 minutes for the water to run away, if not your bathroom would be a swimming pool

The staff were very friendly. The hotel is in a good location - in a quiet residential area, but within a reasonably easy walk to the beach and even the town (provided you don't mind walking).

The rooms were very basic - fine for a short stay where you're not spending much time in the room, but not very comfortable if you want to relax in the room. No kettle or fridge in the room (there is a kettle downstairs, but I found this tricky to then carry two hot mugs back to the room and it was pretty awkward if you wanted an early morning coffee but didn't want to wander around in your PJs). The facilities felt a bit cheap. For me, the room just wasn't worth the price (given Biarritz' high prices).
