Cute surroundings I.e. pool and outdoor bar area. Beautiful, traditional breakfast everyday. Each day there was the usual board of cheese, olives, honey, tomato cucumber, bread basket etc but in addition you got 2 extra Turkish dishes such as french toast, menemen, eggs, mushrooms, pancakes etc. Lovely family run hotel

The bed was very firm and I had difficulty sleeping - maybe a soft mattress topper could be offered? We upgraded to am apartment as it had a roof top terrace with amazing views . The apartment was a bit bizarre as in the wardrobe was in the kitchen area (but had no cooking facilities). The TV faced the stairs. None of this really mattered as it was only a base for five days and we ate out every evening

Nice hotel. It is family-run which adds cosiness of the place. They were super friendly. The breakfasts were great though not lavish. The apartment which is under the roof was veeeery nice for a couple.

The hotel is situated quite far from the beaches. Walk to the town center is fast but the way back takes much patience because it's always a way up the hill.

Gorgeous place not far from the town centre. Really convenient to use as a base. Facilities are great value for money. Charming host. Fabulous bar. Very relaxed, quiet and calm!

Papermoon is a family run, friendly hotel located a short distance from Kalkan. The pool area is lovely, clean with a bar with good food available. There is a pool table for you to play on and this is not charged. There was no pressure to eat with them or take drinks around the pool as there is with some hotels locally. Breakfasts were amazing and definitely worth including in the cost. Bedrooms and Bathrooms are cleaned each day as well as communal areas. The owner can arrange transfers from/to the airport so worth contacting them directly if required.

The property is a little dated with some repairs necessary. As with many Turkish properties, soundproofing is unheard of, so usual noise issues at times. At night, low level music is played at the bar so if you want an early night and you’re in a room nearby ear plugs might be a must. Sayinf this, I didn’t have a problem all holiday. The lunch menu was limited to easy snacks. Had there been some Turkish options such as Meze, I probably would have eaten there every day.

From the moment we arrived at 11.30pm the owners mehmet and mel made up feel welcome. We ended up staying up till 1.30am talking to other guests and the owners and our drink were on a tab for the whole week. Lots of variety of drinks at the bar all done with personal touches. Nothing is too much trouble. As a family run hotel you see the owners and children around the hotel through the day and around the pool and bar area throughout the night. Breakfast in the morning is a turkish breakfast but with a German surprise.. mel changes elements daily from french toast to cinnamon doughnuts so guests have a variety of breakfast through the week. The pool is a good size but it is 1.9m deep throughout so maybe something to consider if you have young children but there is also a small plunge pool for children! Being 10-15 mins uphill from the center the hotel gets a lovely breeze in the night and rooms are comfortable enough to sleep without the aircon on. Taxis to the hotel are £2.50. Mel and mehmet and their sons işmail and momhet create a perfect environment to enjoy your holiday to the max. Getting to know each guest who comes and after arriving as guests we came away as friends. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in kalkan you won't regret it!

We loved the hospitality, the breakfast, the amazing roof terrace with fabulous views. The apartment was quirky and in places difficult for my taller husband due to the roof slant. However completely worth it for the balcony and views!

There was a strong drainage smell in the apartment on arrival, however this was reported and dealt with immediately.

Great location in Kalkan, especially if you are doing the Lycian Way. Friendly staff and management team who are more than willing to help with all your queries and provide helpful suggestions. Great pool and bar area and the rooftop terrace for breakfast is appreciated as well.

The wifi is great near the pool and bar but can be weak in the bedrooms.

Mehmet is quite simply a first class host, always so friendly and happy, nothing is ever too much trouble! The breakfast is simply amazing, something different every day, always fresh and tasty! At the bar Mehmet provides home made flavoured gins and the best iced coffee in Kalkan!!! All in all, excellent value for money and a first class location.

There was honestly nothing about Papermoon that we didn’t like.

Good location on Kalamar Rd. Very good breakfast daily on roof terrace (with daily variety). Pool and bar area very nice. Owner and son are kind and accommodating.

Wifi was not good and we had no signal in room (had to stand in reception to get signal). Bed in our room (6) was very very noisy (I woke up every time I turned around)

Beautiful setting, lovely outdoor area, Mehmet the host was very nice.

The first room we were given, the apartment, was a bit small and pokey. We asked to see other rooms and were given a bigger room without kitchen facilities which was much better. Bathroom was a bit basic.

Lovely little place. Rooms very nice. Pool area very nice too. Breakfast on the roof terrace was super. Even through a power cut they provided excellent service at breakfast.
