Everything, room, staff, pool area, bar area, food. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and they were all so friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Liked everything.

From the minute we arrived until we left all of the staff were attentive, friendly and caring. Service at breakfast and around the pool was excellent. There was a lot of choice at breakfast, made by the excellent chefs, on site pizza oven was a special bonus. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We would definitely return.

Kettle is not provided in the room, which is an essential for us. However as soon as we asked, we were provided. with one.

Overall the hotel is lovely, the pool area is very relaxing and well laid out. I do wonder if it would still be as nice if the hotel was full, as it was quite quiet when we were there? The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the location is great. It is not in the centre of town, but it's a lovely 10 minute walk into town and although it's uphill on the way back, we didn't find it too hard to achieve (particularly after a big meal it was actually very welcome!), and there are loads of taxis in town that can take you back up for very little. We didn't eat in the restaurant (it was a little to "generic" for our liking) but the breakfast was ok - with lots of fresh fruit, salads and eggs done to your request.

The rooms were "too" well furnished, the furniture in the rooms were large and left little room to move around. Our bed frame for example, left just a 6 inch gap between the frame and a corner wall - which led to a lot of bruised legs and feet as we tried to get around it. Also although there were lots of ameneties left in the room (hand sanitiser, face clothes, toiletries etc), it would have been preferable if some of the basics were better finished - e.g. plug sockets that were barely attached to the wall, fridge that actually kept anything cold (it was barely cold, and gave off a LOT of heat). Also, not providing drinking water, even one bottle a day or a refil station we found unusual to the other hotels we have stayed in in Turkey. The pool area and common areas did not contain any rubbish bins, which was slightly annoying because of the amount of bottles or food detritus that it would have been nice to have got rid of more easily - but it was always cleared away eventually by the staff, or we took it to our rooms.

Had a fabulous week in Kalkan. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed our breakfast every morning. It was a bonus having the Turkish spa on site and would recommend that you pay it a visit.

the hotel had just opened for the season there was loads of facilities on offer. the room was amazing with brilliant views. the staff were exceptional and all went out of their way to be warm and friendly.

The staff in particular were amazing. They couldn’t do enough for us we had our 1 year old son and they all made such a massive effort with him which made our stay that extra bit special. The hotel food was fantastic and as a whole we couldn’t fault the hotel one bit!

There was nothing about this hotel we did not like.

This hotel was situated on the outskirts of Kalcan town with steep roads to access the town however this was not a problem as 5 minutes in a taxi (£2.50) which was always available could take you there and bring you back. It was quite nice to be on the outskirts - best of both worlds. The setting was tranquil, the pool area lovely, as well as shaded areas with comfortable sofas to sit on - the room was pleasant, a good size, reasonably basic but what more so you need? The balcony was an asset and the jacuzzi, although old and rustic did the trick, watched the sunset as we had our jacuzzi. The room did not have tea making facilities - take your own electric kettles and teabags and buy some milk for the bar fridge! The breakfast was traditional Turkish was lovely - freshly baked bread (the best bread!)and baked vegetables to start, then could have eggs any way yo liked, plus also cereals, Turkish pasties , salad vegetable fruit etc, the STAFF WERE THE BEST. They were all so friendly and would do anything for you. Especially loved Zeynep, and Atalay - their English was quite good - however Bilent, Oscar and the others - always smiling an eager to please. Felt like a family. There were 4 months old kittens who sat with you at Breakfast and by the pool- but not begging - obviously well fed. They went away if you don't like cats! Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our room was very noisy close to busy road, lots of traffic and dogs barking most nights bfor blong periods. Our request to move rooms met with no response.

Room wasn’t value for money. Room not cleaned whilst there. Dust under bed. Dogs barking in the night, only six Sunbeds in the sun which resulted in people leaving towels on very early in the morning
