Nothing. It totally ruined our holidays. We booked this hotel because of the rooftop however the swimming pool was always closed and the floor around it (around the rooftop bar) was always super dirty full of hair. Our room was on the 7th floor and we could still hear all the music and people screaming outside. We tried to complain and they told us to email the manager who never even replied to us. Probably the worse hotel I have ever been specially for the price we paid.

Everything!! The staff was very rude, i saw with my own eyes the security guy hitting two french guys in the elevator... really bad experience.

I recently stayed at The Charlee hotel and I have to say, it was an awesome experience. Mr. Charlie was great and really went out of his way to make us feel at home. He gave us some great recommendations for meals and places to go, and even sorted out our taxis for us on most days. The hotel itself is really nice and has a cool, industrial style. The new restaurant downstairs serves up some seriously delicious food, and I highly recommend getting the breakfast for your stay - it was definitely a highlight of my mornings! The rooftop is also a must-visit - it has a great vibe in the evenings with house music and stunning views of the city. Just be aware that the hotel is located on a party road, so if you're looking for peace and quiet in the evenings, it may not be the best option for you. Overall, I would highly recommend The Charlee hotel to anyone looking for a stylish and vibrant stay in the heart of the city. Mr. Charlie and his team really made our trip extra special, and we can't wait to visit again soon.

Located right next to ‘the party zone’ of Medellín so depends on if this good for you or not! Hotel staff were outstanding, really helpful and spoke great English which helped us. We had two Deluxe Suites and both were lovely rooms with great room facilities. The soundproofing doors were certainly needed to get a good sleep. Really comfortable beds and great shower. Breakfast was very good with great breakfast staff and a special mention for Samuel who was a brilliant breakfast server and with a great smile always on his face.

The location of this hotel will work for you if you want easy access to the Party Zone and Street areas, otherwise it’s all a bit too full on and noisy and some very questionable activities happening in the area! We are glad we experienced The Charlee but if we return to Medellin we would stay elsewhere away from the Party area.

The service was great (front desk). The woman that brought a portable bar to our room every night and served us complimentary drinks was a nice touch. The rooftop lounge was excellent.

Beds were smaller than a queen (too small). lighting in the room at night not very good. The room is very dark for old eyes and there is not a lot of lighting options. I had a flower delivery that got delivery to the garage entrance by mistake. The employee that signed for the flowers never took the flowers to the front desk. This ruined my Valentine’s Day surprise for my wife.

Great room with a wonderful view of the mountains. I liked having the separate living room area from the bedroom. Five-star services like hotel laundry (which I used). The front desk staff are very friendly and I appreciated that they remembered my name.

While it’s convenient that the hotel is right on Parque Lleras, it is loud! I could hear the boom boom boom of nightclub music all night, which made it hard to sleep. I know I am a light sleeper, though.

The rooftop bar is amazing. Highly recommend it.

If you are in Medellin to party, this hotel is perfectly located. If you are not, then this hotel might not be for you. It’s very loud & the music around it is non stop (literally 24 hours). There’s road works going on around the hotel so there is drilling on the street that goes on during the day.

The location of the hotel is the absolute best and along with the staff and service.

a renovation of the lobby was in progress, which made the coming and going sometimes complicated. i had a problem with a neighbor, who decided to throw a party in the room at 4AM. the staff was prompt in trying to solve the issue but it took a while until the person opened the door and ended whatever was going on there. maybe better room isolation could solve this kind of problem

the rooftop is one of best in city with DJ playing on most nights. the gym is also prob one of best in city. amazing gym for a hotel. the staff were very friendly and helpful - always willing to chat and give recommendations for food or day trips. the views from the rooms are awesome. sweeping views of the city.

the penthouse rooms are below the gym. there can be some noise at certain hours. it's a big gym and spans the whole floor. the elevators are tiny and only two of them.
