It's worth the money (for Netherlands context ) + the strategic location

Hotel to avoid - it has been the worse accommodation I've ever slept. Booking.com and the hotel itself could not find any way to compensate this terrible night. However, the person at the check-in was pretty polite and welcoming.

1) Booking advertised a sound proof room, which was not the case. I could hear the guest in the room next door as if they were in my room. Stop advertising the soundproof - it's a lie, 2) Hotel located just above a bar, you won't be sleeping before midnight for sure due to the noise outside, 3) At 3 of the morning, we were woken up by the fire alarm (false alert) and had to evacuate the hotel. No one from the hotel was there to assist the firemen, 4) So far, I've not received any apologies from the hotel following this event. Of course, no one was at the reception on the morning, 5) I was woken up at 7.45 by a mason making holes the other side of the wall, 6) Finally, the room was super dirty and dusty (see pictures).

The staff was very helpful and let us store our bikes inside at night.

The location is great, but the restaurants outside are pretty busy and loud having the window opened. The shower did not work poperly.

The bed was wonderful...perfect for getting a good nights' sleep before stepping outside the door and directly in to the old town center. Also to note: my room looked out directly on to a large and busy open square... ...however I had no problems with noise throughout the night.

The hotel itself was quite small. No open area to relax. However, that did not matter much as clearly you stay at this hotel for sleep before heading out for eating and shopping!

Bed was super comfy, location is perfect to enjoy Amersfoort old town on foot

A fantastic location in the old centre of Amersfoort. The bed was very comfortable, with extra pillows in the wardrobe. The shower was powerful and hot. All Corona regulations were complied with. The location was amazing. You can see the tower from anywhere in the old town; there are a couple of food provision stores and take away restaurants in the area. We had a lovely stay.

Surprisingly, there were no heaters in the room. The main heater was the air conditioning unit, which was quite loud, and we had to turn it off at night. There was also no heater or drying rack in the shower, which is quite interesting considering how cold it can get here in winter.

Everything was wonderful! The price is excellent for this wonderful hotel. I would like to stay here again.
