Very little
It was a complete disappointment. From horribly old and moulding rooms to constant breakdowns. Phones dont work, heaters dont work. Food is not delivered on time or even the orders taken wrongly. Staff is by and large ruse except one manager who was trying his best to keep us satisfied but was failing as everything around him was pathetic.
Now to Booking.com and its culpability. You had rated it 4 star with genius rating. Charged us a premium. The listing is full of misleading pictures or rooms and amenities. You are complicit in cheating travellers along with the hotel in promoting it.
I want a refund for this horrible experience. Pls treat this as the first of many complaints you will face

The staff are superb and did everything possible to make the stay comfortable. The speed of service and courtesy are unparalleled
The location is terrible. The road to the resort is very narrow and expect to get stuck in traffic - but that's for Darjeeling as a whole.

All the meals seem very average.. not that great in taste. Also, the options are very limited for lunch and dinner.

It is in a very beautiful location. Hotel staff's were very cooperative and friendly. Food was good. All together very good experience staying here.

Extremely courteous and helpful staff. especially at the restaurant. food was amazing.
I had 3 suits. 1214 had a very bad pungent smell. initially we felt it was from the wash room but was something else. the smell stayed all the 3 days we spent there. access road is very narrow and tricky.

the property was huge. maintenance was good. staffs are well behaved. food was ordinary
the approach road was terrible. vicinity was not good. time taken to go to Darjeeling was too much.

The view of the property is mind blowing. I mean, waking up straight with the view of Kanchan-jangha was surreal to us.
The view and comfort of the property is perfectly augmented with the SUPER FRIENDLY staffs. special mention to the restaurant- the food was amazing and they will make food as per your recipe.
it’s like 8-9 KMs away from Darjeeling City Centre which costed us a bit to travel back and forth to the city.

it was clean and the view was good
One of the staff was rude to us. Didn’t help us at all. I had to cancel our whole train ticket because of him. Was not quite happy and very far from the city. without cab you cannot go anywhere. For elder people it’s hard for them to go around. And apart from hotel food nothing is available.

Spa services were good.
1. We arrived to dirty floors, no tissues, no towels, bathroom exhaust non-fubctional.
2. One of the rooms didnot have kettle and water bottles.
3. The road to hotel is very narrow, only 1 vehicle can pass at one time.. so a 5 min drive can take upto 30-45mins
4. Buffet dinner is a rip-off for the quality of food.

The ambience of the hotel . It was extremely relaxing.
The breakfast was not upto the mark. The varieties and the preparation of South Indian food was not satisfactory. The approach road and the management of traffic on the same is pathetic. I was about to miss my flight as I got stuck for an hour in the approach road.

room size, amenities, neat and clean bathroom, views from balcony, children play area, a lot of empty spaces to roam around.

The location of the property is good, rooms are well maintained, but the walking area behind has all the garbage dumped uncovered , which makes it stink and lot of flies.
I would suggest to have the garbage area covered at least as people walk around the property.
I would suggest to have some air freshners in tbe rooms , either the electric ones or something becuase the bathrooms smell damp.
Bathrooms smell damp and very less light.
Makeup mirror in bathroom is required.
Please cover the garbage area behind , near the parking , which is part of the walking way designed at the property

4 People I would like to thank for their exceptional hospitality is Chef Manoj.....Room Service guys Arun Thapa, Pramod, Subham. These people made sure my 2.5 year son got homely food and he didn't fall sick having any outside food. Exceptional behaviour
Food menu and lunch ...dinner & breakfast timing. They had rigid timings for all and you cannot order anything anytime apart from those timings.
