the seclusion. quiet. very clean. some nice touches with the wine and fruit and breakfast items

the sofa needs an update. could not sit on it for too long. also not that it was an issue but no way of locking the property when out.

The Seaview cottage was nature retreat teeming with wildlife and birds. I found a tiny feather glider in the grevillia beside the front door in broad day light. The next morning there was a butcher bird on the front doorstep and blue masked honey eaters in the grevillia. An eagle flew over the tree tops where crimson rosellas fed. You hear the music of insects, at night frogs. Go out the back at night and look up: the Milky Way blazes across the sky. There are 2 different panoramic views to the sea, front and back, and different aspects of the views from each window, framed by the magnificent garden and trees. My favourite view was from the bathroom. The house is backed by a swathe of giant red ginger pokers with delicate yellow blossoms peeking out. The garden has a range of bromeliads with pink points, red frangipani, different species of palm, so many others. I was sad to leave my forest hideaway.

Location was great and the Owners supplying Pastries and goodies on arrival was a great touch

Quiet , clean and different for an overnight stopover

Signposting to property needs improvement- took 2 wrong driveways before we found the right one
