No ironing, no restaurant, then not having access to simple microwave in the kitchen after driving 36km to find food, luxury room does have nice space and vies bushes I high to block the river view

Cannot understand all positive comments, maybe it was a good hotel long time ago. We were so disappointed and disgusted that we booked another accommodation next day and left after one night. The room is absolutely outdated and very dirty: the dishes were still dirty with food rests from previous guests, the shower was broken, in the family room we had exactly one spoon and one fork. The fence to our terrace was broken and could not be closed. I hope that they at least changed the bedding, but I am very much not sure about that. The fridge was not working properly and froze our products. No possibility to cook in the unit, and no decent place to go out in this area. Also, the territory of this guest house is very small and not well looked after. When we complained, the manager has first explained that she took over the hotel and the room was not well maintained because of corona (?!). If this is the case, they should not offer these rooms for the stay. One good thing, is that she agreed to let us go, and we got reimbursed for one night we did not stay in this horror place. However, as we were leaving in the morning, we did not hear any apologies for the inconvenience caused and were told that for the price (90 eur/night...) we should not wish for more and that it was our own problem that we had to leave. In my opinion, she had to reimburse us also for the night we had to stay there and has no right to offer these rooms anymore. Very friendly at our check-in, the management lady was very arrogant at check-out.

The place is beautiful, very close to Addo park southern entrance. The unit was specious and well equiped.

we arrived late, the supermarket was closed, no cafes close by, wanted to go into the park early and breakfast was not suggested.

Great location to visit Addo Elephant Park (which is a must on your SA trip).

The perfect place to stay close to PE. The ADDO ist right next corner. Breakfast is oipulent and great. Suzette arranged everything perfect, the sundowner boát trip was great, recommendable. Do not miss it. The evening snack turned out to be a full mesal.in the boat on the river. We were out of words anbd breath. We would definitely comne again, that time as tow and then in the rooms on the first floor in the mauiín building. Thnaks for showing

What a delicious breakfast and Peter's bread made it so special. So nice to relax at the fire on a cold winter's night.

The Breakfast was amazing, freshly baked bread every morning, fresh fruit and all around great breakfast!

With our booking the photos showed the restaurant, with great food, but on arrival, we were informed that the restaurant was closed since Covid started and they had not reopened it. There is no variety of restaurants close to the venue; we had lunch in Addo and drove 33km to PE for dinner! I would love for them to reopen their restaurant!

Well received by staff. Room was cleaned and refreshed. Warm water.

The milk was sour because it was somehow punctured. under the bed was a bit dirty( saw this when I was checking out. The information sheets needs to be wiped down. We had to move the bed for the warm blanket plug could not reach the plug.

Lovely place directly at the entrance of Addo Elephant Parc. Nice spacious rooms. Great breakfast with homemade bread & jams, fruit salad and eggs. Lovely owners. Would definetely come back.
