De gastvrouw was zeer vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed.
De gastheer. Hij benaderde me een week voor het verblijf of ik mijn boeking wilde annuleren via booking.com. Vervolgens zou ik 5 euro korting krijgen omdat er dan geen tussenkomst was van Booking.com. Ik heb hier niet aan meegewerkt.
Vervolgens gaf hij per mail aan dat we konden toekomen tussen 11 en 12. Bij aankomst om 11.45u konden we niet in de kamer.
Bij de afrekening van de accomodatie konden we alleen cash betalen. Bij de vraag of het ook per overschrijving kon, toonde hij onterecht veel wantrouwen naar mij toe. Geen aangename man om mee in gesprek te gaan.
De vloerbedekking in de kamer was stuk op diverse plekken. De föhn was zeer oud zonder enige kracht. De wc had een vieze streep door oudheid. Er was geen waterkoker op de kamer. Douche met een douchegordijn is vrij ouderwets.

Small room. With many corners in the room and its access due to the roof shape. Dangerous for head, with high risk of heating head. Quite noise in the night, as it is by a road.

Good location, free parking, easy to find; clean and cozy room; the owner are very nice, responsive and attentive. They provided us with some tips about local restaurants, sightseeing itinerary, cheaper parking place in the town and etc.

I picked the location as it close to the coast but also allows visitors easy access to city's such as Bruges.
The area is quiet and is surrounded by countryside. The property is large and the owner is very helpful. It is very clean. The bed was the best I've slept in within any hotel.
The breakfast was provided and there were lots on offer, such as fruit, yoghurt, jams, cheese, meats as well as a small omelette.
Tea and coffee was provided on the landing. The room was large. If the weather had been less inclement I would have loved to have sat in the garden overlooking the fields. Very idyllic.
My only issue was that there were no bedside lamps for reading, which is nothing big and should not put off any traveller.

The room was spacious, clean and modern. Beds were comfortable. But the highlight was the breakfast that was served with a chat to the owners. They are a very nice couple who obviously enjoy running their beautiful B&B. We will come back here for sure.
The only thing I can think of is the fact that the bathroom didn't have a door so that could be an awkward situation for some when going to the toilet.

Cozy room, value for money stay, friendly communication with owner, well-kept, traditional house, quiet, really good for a couple of nights to explore the surrounding area by car and have a place to come back to for sleep. Special mention to the AMAZING and plentiful breakfast, which was a TREAT
Room was COLD! Brrr! However, we did arrive a couple of hours after the booking though, so the owner might not have had time to turn up the heat. We huddled together under the blankets for sleep, so it didn't cause too much trouble and by morning the heater in the room had done its work. Also, a couple of extra pillows of different sizes would have been a nice addition, plus a small table for the breakfast that has to be taken in the room due to COVID. All "good to haves", lacking them didn't detract from our stay in the least.

Room had outside toilet and not as advertised. Nowhere to hang towels. Lots of cupboard space in room nut all locked except two small wardrobes. Room was very stuffy but if you open window very busy noisy road. Had to pay cash although I don't remember seeing this mentioned on on booking.com website. Etc.

Location was great! Away from busy touristy areas, but still close enough to get to Brugge and coastal towns. The room was clean and breakfast was great. We felt very comfortable here!
Just a little thing, but there was no door in between the bedroom and bathroom.
