Nice clean and modern. Handy to all amenities. Great spa bath. Free internet and units are serviced daily.

Truck noise is a pain.

Technology was great, very reliable. There is multiple TVs with Netflix and Chromecast so we could cast anything from our phones. Good basic kitchen facilities. Very clean. Quiet, no street noise

Neat and clean rooms! Almost all things you require were there in room.

Comfortable, clean. We had the only room left which had a wet room shower, (it was a room with wheelchair facilities). But it was very nice. Fresh milk given on arrival

We had to be careful when running the shower as the water went everywhere, but they did provide extra towels. Also the parking was tight (especially as it was disabled friendly!) even though we did have a wider parking spot than rooms

Fantastic room, super clean, convenient to town, had everything we needed. Our host was very helpful, dropped us back to the train station and helped us take our bags upstairs. Very friendly and could not have been more helpful.

Uncomfortable couch

Unfortunately we did not end up staying at this property as when we arrived, the room had a strong smell of smoke. We were assured it was burnt toast but even with the doors open the smell did not dissipate. As there were no other rooms available, we were offered a refund and were able to find alternative accommodation for the night.

The service was AMAZING!!! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and clean. Looked way better than the photos. The location was excellent!

The only (small) bad thing was there were no outlets close to the beds. That wasn’t a huge problem though because there were outlets in the kitchen.

The balcony was open and shared with other guests. Partitions between units would give some privacy.

Location and room were excellent

So close to the main town centre, but with gorgeous views of the ranges and fields. Very relaxing to wake up to that sight. The rooms themselves were spacious and facilities were great - air con worked super well, TVs were a good size and SKY channels provided welcome entertainment while we killed time between a wedding ceremony and reception. Everything was neat, tidy, and spacious.

The single beds were a bit small for us tall gals, but I’m sure they would be fine for the average NZer. The fridge was a bit loud at night which made it hard to get to sleep.

It had excellent facilities. It was a great location and it was super clean!

Really helpful hosts who suggested we do the Dolphin Encounter that was amazing. Also gave good advice on restaurants, cafes etc.

No servicing daily due to Covid. You could collect new towels daily.

Its location close to the train station and township.

If we spent more time in the room, we would have liked the fact that the main room was relatively cosy - equipped with sofa, armchair, TV and air conditioning, along with a kitchenette. Decent for a motel.

After we left, we received a surcharge for allegedly breaking their policies during our stay. The case raised was absurd. Not sure if it was just a genuine mistake or an attempt to rip tourists off but the attitude was definitely way off.
