The hostel is perfectly situated right in the center of Sarajevo. Given its strategic location to everything and everywhere, you will have the best experience at ease, including the magnificent city view and the cozy room ambience inside as the highlighted bonus points. Dimar who is an incredibly hospitable owner went to a great length accommodating any requests of mine. For instance, I had been through a 10-hour night bus from Belgrade and arrived in Sarajevo in early morning. Even my room was not ready to check in early, Dimar was willing to give keys to access to the hostel and a spare storage room to leave a luggage or even take a rest if needed. Although he was the owner cum the only janitor of his own hostel, I find the room and each corner of this hostel unbelievably neat and tidy. It would NOT be exaggerated to say the stay in his hostel was the best I ever had during my Balkan journey. Beside the amazing room experience, he also helped me to purchase "med u saću" from the village of his wife's neighbors haha. You won't find any quality honeycomb at a surreally affordable price anywhere in Europe.

Was a bit difficult to find the hotel... there was no visible sign to indicate the location, I had to ask two groups of people who worked nearby to find it.

Host : the host Damir was so excellent & helpful , being a solo traveller it was a respite to meet a kind guy like him. by going out of way. he helped me with my delayed luggage by contacting airport and doing all co-ordination & collected it on my behalf letting me enjoy my day trips Location : perfectly situated at the beginning of famous market of pigeon square with several cafés around and wonderful stroll to markets , 24*7 open grocery store just below the hostel , funky tour & other tour operators office is just walkable so easy to book tours. Public transportation : very accessible to the public transport to go to the central commercial area , stop is right outside hostel , taxi stand also just right in front of bus stand . Cleanliness & hygiene : hostel was super clean & basic yet perfect amenities . I had room no. 5 which I think is the best room they have with 2 windows overseeing pigeon square & mountains . it had private bathroom but just outside the room ( 2 steps away) and bathroom had a lock & key to ensure privacy. the room has 2 single beds so it is good for a couple /2 ppl too though I was solo. in all very pleasant stay for the moderate rates that they charge .

Amazing place, right next to the landmark square of Sarajevo old town. You can see it from the window of your room. The owner provided very clear and prompt instructions on how to check-in. very clean facilities. the bedding are comfortable. highly recommend

Everything is perfect. The host is very helpful and accomodating especially if you have any queries. The location is fantastic as it was very near to tourist attractions. Definitely a best choice to stay in the heart of Sarajevo.

Mosque is loud but that is something that can be heard everywhere in the city

I liked Damir's hospitality, he was very kind and friendly. Place were really quiet and clean. Location is awesome, you can reach anywhere with just 5 mins walking. So, that's really a good bonus point.

I preferred the quiet room however, quiet room with private bathroom and for 3 people is at the beginning of the place. It was quiet and clean but there were no window to see outside, and there was no sightseeing. It's a trade-off that you need to make. If you want quiet room & private bathroom, you'll lose the sightseeing, or vice-versa.

İt was great location everything was in close each other.it was clean and had everything Damir was so hospitality, we wanted to stay a hour he accepted our request also he helped us for didn't come the hostel. The kitchen has free tea and coffee thanks foru ur guesting.

It was so friendly , cozzy place and also it was in the middle of the center. Our room was enough big with wonderful view Bascarsija. The electric heater and hot water were sufficent as well. The bus&tram stop was in front of the premises to get to the train station or bus station. Altough we did not meet Damir who was the owner, everything was fine with his warm interest. We highly recommend Pigeun Square Rooms to everyone.

IT WAS SO CLEAN. There is a stigma behind hostels to be unsafe and unclean, but this property was lovely, so comfortable, clean, and a great destination. Easily accessible and the owners are wonderful.
